Horrific Customer Service and Unacceptable Delays
I am attempting to provide essential information regarding my mother’s life insurance policy so she can qualify for Medicaid. For the last two months, I have been trying to obtain the cash surrender value as of the first day of each of the last four months—a basic and legally required piece of information for Medicaid applications. Despite multiple requests, Lincoln Financial’s customer service has been nothing short of abysmal. The first response provided incomplete information, and the subsequent three requests remain unprocessed. Each time, I am told I must wait7–10 business days, with no assurance of when—or if—the information will actually be provided. This constant delay and lack of communication have caused significant hardship and put my mother’s Medicaid application on hold due to their failure to deliver a simple piece of data. The entire experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a company of their size and reputation. I cannot recommend Lincoln Financial for anyone who needs timely, reliable service, especially in critical healthcare-related situations
