Don’t purchase from them!! I made the mistake of pulling the trigger on an expensive console without looking at reviews because Lights & Home was cheaper than its competitors. Since my purchase over a month ago, there has been no follow-up. There is no tracking number and they don’t respond to emails. I’m concerned this was a scam! I now need to contact my credit card company to try to reverse the charges (ugh!).

agree with the nightmare review. they charged my card immediately and I haven't heard a peep from them since. have just started the process of getting a return on my charge card. i write them daily, and get the same rote email from them each time, and there is no phone number. wish I had read reviews........

I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering from this site!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. RUN RUN RUN. I placed an order for over $1500 on August 6. At time I placed the order I was notified it would be delivered between Aug 16-19 and I would get a shipping notification when it was sent. It’s now Aug 21, no shipping notification, no product, and I’ve sent 3 emails to customer service with NO RESPONSE. No phone number to call either —. I will now be attempting to cancel the order with credit card.

Ordered 4 stools which said they were 16” wide but the back took up interior space so at the back they were 11”. Unusable to most adults. They WILL NOT respond as to how to return them. I was ordering a side table from this store. I got an amazing product from this store. They are providing good customer service. It is recommended to shop on this website. I'll also buy products in the future from this store.
House Number Tiles do not match web site!
I searched and search for new number tiles for my illuminated House Number sign at home. I liked the Block Number font shown on the web site. I ordered 4 numbers, $35.00 + $25.00 shipping. When they arrived, they were not the Block Number font on the web site, but a sort of script number font, like every other web site has available. I logged into the site to see what the return procedure was. The site says this was a No Returns Allowed order. So, I am now out $60.00 for number tiles I do not like. PLUS, my web site access appears to have been terminated so I can't log back into the site.
Zero customer service
Zero customer service. Ordered a Eurofase mirror and within the company policy of having one hour to make a change, I switched to a smaller mirror. Of course, no confirmation of the change from Lightsandhome despite repeated emails and calls. They ended up shipping the bigger mirror. Representative said return label would be sent. Never sent. Stopped the payment at AMEX. Stay away.
I had a great experience
I had a great experience. Bought a designer lamp for $300 less than anyone else and it arrived very fast and exactly what I ordered. The bad reviews got me so nervous I almost canceled but the customer service was prompt and I gave it a shot. I'm not sure what others experienced, but this is definitely a legit business with good customer service from my single-order experience.
Take your $, deliver nothing, won’t respond
Do NOT order anything from this company. I had a similar experience to the other reviewers. I ordered an item back in Oct ‘22. They charged my AMEX on day 1. Then said the item was on back order until Jan ‘22. It never arrived. No communications from them re: status. I kept reaching out to them. Finally, on April 11, 2023, their customer service rep acknowledged that they no longer carried and could not send the item. They said would issue a refund in 5-7 business days. It has been 2 months. Still no refund. I emailed them several times since they said they would issue the refund. No response. I’ve initiated a dispute with AMEX.

Do not order from this company. Received light that was not as advertised. $2000.00. Have tried everything to return and they are refusing. And the chandelier had no chain to hang. It was obvious this light had been returned.

Buyer Beware: I would rate less than one star if able! Paid $1200 for a coffee table on June 4th and still waiting to either hear I am getting the item or my money is refunded. They told me months ago it was okay to cancel due to significant delays and then proceeded to "Ghost me" thereafter. No way to contact them by phone. No physical address. At this point, I believe my payment is gone and no merchandise forthcoming.

Terrible experience with Lights and Home, wish I had read reviews first. Trying to get order refunded because I ordered it about a month ago and have not gotten any information about shipping. I have been charged for the order. No phone number to call.

Placed and order did not receive. They said it was left at my front door. May have been someone’s but not mine! Lucas + McKearn floor lamp $608, large box to get lost. Said they can’t do anything until it’s found.

If I could give negative stars I would. Fully charged from day one for a $1300 chandelier. (On the website it says "ships on X date" and still says that today even though the item is back ordered/out of stock.) Customer service is non existent. They said in an email they would cancel the order and refund the money but a week has gone by and no response. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered.

I cannot recommend doing business with Lights and Home based on my own experience. There was nothing on their website or at any point in their online ordering process to indicate that the items that I ordered were out of stock and perhaps unavailable/discontinued, nor did they inform me of any shipping delays - just sat on the order until I contacted them, at which point they said they would you check with the manufacturer to determine availability. I waited another week - again, NO COMMUNICATION. I understand that we are in an era of supply chain issues etc that can cause ship delays and product availability issues - I can accept that. But I cannot accept a near total lack of communication by an online retailer with regard to when or even if I can expect to receive what I purchased. My advice is to order from one of their many competitors who deliver identical products at competitive or even better prices, but deliver a far better overall customer experience.
Unfulfilled order that has been fully paid
I made two purchases from Lights and Home on the same day. Both items were immediately charged to my credit card. One item arrived promptly even though the status on the website showed as "unfulfilled". The second item has not shown up and is still listed as "unfulfilled". The only way to contact customer service is through email (no phone number works). They are very slow to respond and then don't answer questions. This is one of my worst online shopping experiences.

Ordered a $2k chandelier in August
Ordered a $2k chandelier in August. Was told it would ship in 2-3 weeks. Received notice that it wouldn't ship until November so tried to cancel my order. Emailed them for over two months trying to get order canceled. No response. Filed a claim with Amex to stop payment. Company wouldn't return the payment to Amex. Amex now says it has been too long so won't issue a refund. Absolute nightmare to deal with and I am out $2k and have no chandelier. Worst company ever. They don't even have a phone number to call and someone from the hello@lightsandhome barely responds if at all.
