Great Service

I had such a great experience with Lighting Legends, from easy ordering, to quick responses to my queries and topped off with fast delivery. I would highly recommend. Really excited for spring now to enjoy our new lights properly!!

Waterproof heavy duty festoon lights

Purchased heavy duty festoon lights, with IP65 waterproof rating. Like some others who have posted here have experienced, ours failed due to water ingress in less than 2 years. If you are outside of the 12 month warranty period, don’t waste your time trying exercise your consumer rights on faulty goods. They will give you fairly cut and paste responses telling you it couldn’t possibly be an issue with their product and it is your fault for not maintaining them properly, or that water ingress on waterproof lights should be considered as normal wear and tear. It’s a shame dishonest traders like this still exist. Save yourself the hassle and buy cheaper ones elsewhere with Amazon or the like - if there’s an issue you’ll at least be covered!

Hi Will, Sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating this must be. As the lights were outside the 12-month warranty period, we’re unable to offer a replacement, but we do appreciate your feedback.

We take product quality and customer satisfaction very seriously, and our products are designed to be durable and reliable. As the lights functioned as intended for a significant period, they met the expected standards at the time of purchase and installation. While we regret any inconvenience caused, we encourage regular maintenance to help prolong the lifespan of outdoor lighting.

Festoon …

I really can't fault these guys,I emailed for advise,got straight back to me with the answers I needed,placed my order,it arrived on time and undamaged,most of all we love the lights and wow what a difference,I'd give 6 stars if it was possible,thanks again guys, Mr A

Awful company

Awful company. Returned an item and they refused to refund despite my circumstances. Take your business elsewhere - there are far better and cheaper companies out there who don’t offer such shoddy customer service

Near fire. I wish I could post a video on here of…

I wish I could post a video on here of the electrical fault that would of ended in a garden fire had my electrician boyfriend not heard a hiss, saw the sparks and was able to stop it from turning into a massive, dangerous problem. Apparently I was given an aftercare form with my lights. (Who knew lights needed aftercare!) I was offered a discount on my next purchase. No accountability on lighting legends side. Apparently the consumer has the responsibility to check there’s no faults with the plug in lights. We managed to avoid an actual fire. I’m writing this so no one leaves theses lights on and unattended.

We are disappointed to see this review and we are sorry the lights you purchased from us in 2022, have not lived up to your expectations on this occasion.

We would have to assume that on this occasion the lights have not been installed and maintained as per our product guidelines. The lights as with any electrical device do require some level of maintenance and we do recommend checking the lights over periodically to check for any signs of damage or wear and tear, so they can operate safely.

We provide a 12 month warranty period on all our products which should be a reasonable amount of time for any issues to be identified and resolved. It is extremely rare for us to have products that are faulty outside of this window. Our "Heavy Duty String Lights" product has a high ingress protection level of IP65 and is fully UKCA & CE certified. The customer return rate on this product is also extremely low at just 2.5% compared to the industry average of 5%-15%. It is also important to note that out of those returns the actual product defect rate on this specific product is less than 5%

As can be seen on multiple independent review platforms, Lighting Legends pride ourselves on providing high quality products alongside helpful and efficient customer service.

The product quality is excellent.
Packaging is first class.
Delivery was excellent, received next day delivery from YODEL.
The communication from there support staff couldn’t have been better.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Lights didn’t work/ lack of reply

Lights didn’t work and testing by an electrician revealed they were faulty and poor quality. I have emailed the company multiple times and also sent a request via their online contact form as their phone number has an automated message that they are not taking calls. No reply received to any of my communication attempts. Really poor customer service. Would avoid at all costs.

Excellent Service

Have bought from the company before. I initially had an issue with email receipt (actually me not the company) which Clare sorted out straight away & was fantastic. It is a shame about the lack of telephone service but Clare called me immediately on receipt of my email. Highly recommended & I will buy again.

Absolutely dissatisfied with your…

Absolutely dissatisfied with your company. I had to take my case to the BBC before you backed down and gave me a refund. My lights failed twice in the 14 months that I had them, only to be told by lighting legends that you only offer a 12 month warranty. Do yourself a favour and educate yourselves on consumer law. Ignorance of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which has obviously been in place for some time now, is no excuse. You are hoodwinking your customers, and that type of service has no place in todays society. I had to go to great lengths to receive my refund because of your Ignorance.
Customers beware..... this product will fail all too soon, so don't be fobbed off by their 12 month warranty spiel.

You informed us of the issues once the products had exceeded their warranty period, and we did not have an accurate time as to when the issue first arose.

We would expect any product issues that occur to be reported within a reasonable time frame, which in this case unfortunately did not happen.

This has been fully resolved. We received your retuned lights and you have been refunded.

Exceptional company

Poor quality

Bought them less than a year ago, was looking at adding extra set when checked the connection found it had disintegrated and had a funny smell so cleaned it up and the lights tripped so not usable.

Beautiful Lights + Fantastic Service

Exactly as ordered, very strong lights, look fantastic in the garden. Placed a couple of orders over the past year. Also, they went above and beyond after I explained I needed the last order urgently and was able to get delivery upgraded to next day. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Great products

Great products, service and price. Contact from Lighting Legends was excellent, by real people, quick and knowledgable. We are really pleased with the festoon lights and the WiFi switch is excellent and just what we wanted and couldn’t find from an electrical wholesaler yet these guys have them - brilliant.

No order and no contact

Not sure what’s going on with this company. They don’t answer phones nor respond to emails. Ordered through them as they state express delivery, lots of reviews to say they deliver quickly although I now see these are at least a year old. As per review below, they say it’s been dispatched but the courier status has been showing as awaiting the package for at least three days now. Have emailed asking to cancel my order as clearly it’s not left them. Let’s see how that pans out.
