Another amazing visit to Leisure Sales today to sort out our caravan delivery date. A great welcome at the showroom doors from Diane and John, always so friendly and ready to help, impressive as always. Diane sorted our delivery date and paperwork, answered all our questions we had,everything sorted on the spot, had a chin wag with John, had a bite to eat, a quick measure of the van model we are getting, visited the spares shop and wondered around the site.
If you want a caravan new or used please come here, you can't go wrong.
Very professional dealer with amazing staff.

We bought a caravan from John at Leisure Sales recently. We're delighted and would gladly recommend them. John in Sales deserves a mention for ensuring the whole process was painless and providing superb service. Must say that the handover was excellent too, much better than previous experiences elsewhere.

We decided to sell our Swift caravan to Leisure Sales. Their Sales Executive John Chaddock treated us with such professionalism and caring to our situation.

What a pleasure to buy from a dealer that actually care about customer service, and not just for profit in the deal. I emailed asking if John could give me a call when he returned from holiday and yes without fail I received the call and within the space of 10 mins John hit us with a couple of options we had never considered, needless to say 24 hours later new van purchased.
The whole purchase experience, hand over, and the help we received in purchasing new awning and a few items from Mark in the accessory shop was second to none. We made the right decision to travel over from Chester as the whole experience was faultless, and icing on the cake was the cafe.
Anyone reading this review I can only say buy with confidence, the whole team are 100% customer focused, Thanks again Phil and Judith Allman from Chester.

In March 2019 I purchased a caravan from Leisure Sales, they weren’t the cheapest but I had had excellent after sales service with a previous caravan so was looking forward to receiving the same again.
Handover was perfect, but on getting home we discovered the few things weren’t quite right, the main door didn’t lock correctly, the front skylight locking button had fallen out on the journey home and a cupboard door didn’t close correctly. All were reported the same day as pick up and response was that a claim would have to lodged with the manufacturer - Bailey.
It took till September 2020 for the door to be fixed and 30 months on I’m still waiting for the other items to be fixed.
I’ve emailed the company and had no response and phoned but no one is every available and messages don’t get returned.
I really wish I had purchased cheaper elsewhere and not been swayed by previous experience because they certainly don’t deliver the same level now. And covid has nothing to do with this, the faults were reported at least 9 months prior to lockdown

we recently went into your sales department to purchase a brand new caravan, we were very disappointed with service, it felt like your sales person could not be bothered, we did purchase a brand new caravan from another retailer

We would highly recommend Leisure Sales for caravan sales and service.
Jan in the service centre is fantastic, very organised kept us informed about the progress of our repair and service.

Been happily using their Leisure shop for many years and bought my first caravan from them in 2018. Since then service from the service department has been great. There was a long standing issue with my fridge but Leisure sales were always helpful and supportive in getting the matter resolved. No problem recommending them. Obvious difficulties for everyone throughout COVID19 issues but again Service Dept very well organised for delivery/collection,,, well done.

I've just been to have my caravan (a Lunar Quasar 2014 model) serviced with this company and can't recommend them highly enough. It's the third 'van we've had from them and the customer services from both the sales and service departments are excellent. The team overall are very friendly and helpful.

We bought our first caravan from Becky who was really professional, knowledgable and patient explaining every detail to us. Great service 😁😁😁😁😁

Leisure Sales Cheshire After Sales Service Truly Awful

Update 31/07/2019. Following the previous update we have heard nothing further from Leisure Sales not even in respect of whether Lunar are now back operating or not and thus when spare parts might be available to effect the repair.

Also our original review was removed and we received an email from Trustpilot containing the following:

Note WE WERE NOTIFIED

The only name and job title that I used (now removed) were initiated by Leisure Sales themselves in their first reply to the original review.

Following the call I received as described below, I had another call from Leisure sales "marketing department" which was to say the least unhelpful with a young lady consistently telling me That I was wrong. This lady also owned up to writing the Leisure Sales response to our review but also admitted she didn't really know much about the case.

Update 23/06/2020: Despite circumstances Leisure Sales did ring us on the day that I did the last update.

Leisure Sales have now confirmed via email that our van will have the back panel and guttering replaced at no charge.

Due to the current situation it is not possible to say when this will happen as we are now dependent on Lunar re-opening for the parts. I will update this review at a future date.

I have to say the person who rang me was very good so hopefully in the coming weeks we will be able to make a more positive report.

Further to our original review and the response from Leisure sales, I have just rang them as requested in their reply, the person that I was referred to was not available due to tragic personal circumstances.
The lady I spoke to did not know much about the case but it transpires that Leisure Sales have not found it possible to monitor their emails for the last 3 months, really?

Leisure sales apparently did not write the Leisure sales response to our review so it is a shame that whoever did write it did not put their name to it.
To be clear the issue regarding the light cluster was reported 20/07/2019 4 months after collecting the van NOT 6 as stated by Leisure Sales. The missing item was NOT replaced immediately indeed the issue was still ongoing as of 29/09/2019.
The cracks found in the roof of the rear panel of our, what was at the time 12 month old, van were not airline as Leisure Sales own inspector said he could get a coin into one of them.
We have not refused to have a quote nor have we refused to accept a quote as we still have not been sent a quote.
Not withstanding we maintain that under the consumer rights act 2015 this van is not fit for purpose and should have a suitable repair at no cost.
Since my original review everything that has happened or not happened only serves to underline that Leisure sales customer service falls someway short of what might be expected in this day and age especially when you are shelling out £20k for a product.
Having had 2 previous caravans and a motor home we have not seen this issue before I would be interested to see if anyone else has come across something similar.

Do NOT under any circumstances use Leisure Sales Cheshire, after sales service is non existent.
We bought a new Lunar Quasar in March 2019, following issues with Leisure Sales we had the first annual service done elsewhere and they found large splits on the roof of the back panel. We took the van back to leisure sales who inspected it. Despite numerous emails it took 3 months to get a response and that response was we will provide a quote for the repair. Under the consumer rights act 2015 this van was clearly not fit for purpose and should be repaired, at no cost to us, by leisure sales according to citizens advice. I can only say that I would never recommend them to anyone in fact I would say stay well away

We bought our caravan from Leisure Sales 6 years ago and although it is out of warranty We have always received excellent customer service from all departments. The two young men in the accessories shop have been particularly helpful on several occasions , always happy to help and advise whether it be for a £1 accessory or a £1000 awning. I would recommend Leisure Sales for their friendly and helpful customer service.

Fantastic company to deal with from start to finish. Due to the current pandemic we have decided to start holidaying in the UK for the foreseeable and have bought our first caravan (lunar clubman SB) from leisure sales in Cheshire. Becky was our salesperson and nothing was to much trouble for her. During our handover we noticed an issue with the microwave. The service department came and replaced this there and then. After this we wanted to purchase a new awning so ventured into the accessory shop. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. All the staff were very knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning to buy all our caravanning bits and bobs and will return to buy our 2nd van in the future if we enjoy the lifestyle as much as I think we will. Thank you to everyone involved.

The girls and the staff in this place are lovely I cannot say the same for the cafe the cafe is never open on time the staff I feel a very rude we sat there for over an hour and a half waiting for it to open when it should have been open at 10:30 for the manager then to come in and be very rude and then later on we find out she says she doesn't want us to be served anymore because she was late because she had a business to run and she couldn't apologise when I had a 7 year old kids sitting there starving waiting to eat she wonders why her customers would be upset last time also is there the bacon was not cooked the eggs were not cooked properly the beans are burnt the constantly changing their food around there was an old lady sitting next to me who spat it out and said how disgusting it was I will never go back here again I would never recommend anyone to go to here the cafe is useless the tea is ok

Can't fault this company , John the sales manager , Diane the saleslady we have had two new vans from there , a lunar quasar and their own leisure henbury no problems with either , the accessories shop is always stocked and helpful with a nice little cafe onsite for a bite to eat service department always go through things with you when you collect your van explaining everything , five star all the way

We purchased a New Swift Conqueror caravan in September 2016 we were really pleased with the caravan it had everything we needed in a caravan we part exchanged our old caravan also a Swift Conqueror 2013. We arranged to collect our new van on the 28th Sept 2016 we took our old van in the day before so Leisure Sales could check it out. On the 28th Sept we went to collectour new van and it was ready for collection as we had been told it would be, we were shown through it and how evertything works, everything was in order. We went back into the office to get the documents and keys for our new caravan and pay the balance £10900 but one of the keys for our new van was missing, the salesman took the details and the number and said he would order a new one that would take 2 to 3 weeks, after this time we e-mailed to see what was happening! no reply! so we telephned and was told it could take up to 10 weeks but it will not stop you using your van and therefore no inconvenience, I said will you contact us when it comes in and they said they would. After 10 weeks nothing from Leisure Sales so we phoned them and managed to get the salesman who sold us the van, he said he knew nothing about it and we should phone the service department I said can you not put me through he said no you will have to phone direct. After talking to the service department they had not got a clue what I was talking about. The annoying thing is that the key can be obtained on Ebay for £22 including postage.
