Person Details Lost

I was involved in a claim where my details were lost. KP Law dealt with the matter, the process was straight forward and stress free. I was regularly updated with any progress and realistic timescales were given to me of when significant points would be achieved.

BEWARE...ALL THAT GLITTERS ISNT GOLD.

Back in January 2026, I was passed onto KP Law regarding the Capita Data Breach since then all I have received is notification of my case being passed to KP Law...and nothing else. A recent news story prompted me to contact them and apply for some important information that I would like to know and I have heard ZIP, NADA, NOWT, NOTHING from anyone and I am appalled and angry at this level of treatment. If your not going to help me, then let me know ...that would be the most decent thing that you should do instead of ghosting me. I understand the wheels of process move slow but its been 5 MONTHS....Nearly 6 MONTHS and you cant even tell me if I can have the document I am seeking. DISGRACEFUL. NO HELP.

Update-Why ask for information if your still not going to call and put my mind at ease at least. I feel like you want me to call and tell you I have given up so you can charge me a LARGE percentage for nothing you have done as it feels like thats how you make your money....WELL NOT FROM ME YOU WONT.

All these reviews which mention names, friendly staff blah, blah, blah are clearly not the representation you really are.

Oooh and hilariously...In my paperwork it says ..and I quote directly from it ...
'Take steps to obtain the best result for you in the best possible time' - Nope
'Keep you updated on progress with a monthly update'- HA ABSOLUTELY NOT
'Protect your interests'- EH?
Also ...
'Overall, your claim will be supervised by Kingsley Hayes'- NEVER HEARD FROM HIM

Used this firm for a Data Breach and personally, I cannot fault them.
Ensured I was updated throughout and arranging expert evidence professionals, which resulted in me being placed into the highest category for payment and compensation.

Excellent Experience.

My experiance with KP Law has been positive from start to finish during what has been a long and successful claim process.

Top Notch? More like Trotters Independant Traders

Keep asking for more information rather than ask for all relevant documents at start. Links sent that are not appropriate for the lodging of legal documents. Claim to use "top notch" people, sounds like run by Del Boy, lovely jublie. Website has all cookies on by default, a no-no which you would expect a proper company to be aware is against UK regulations. Avoid.

Data breach

I signed up to a crypto group claim and am immediately being sent phishing emails, disguised as KP law emails telling me to follow a link and submit photos of my KYC info... the phone number on the email is not linked to KP law, there is no identifier or anti phishing code and no heads up email from KP law, KP law have 100% breached my data...

Prepare for HARRASSMENT

I filled a form in online and then changed my mind, this company have rung me twice a day for almost a year now. Icing on the cake this week came when they sent a letter addressed to my DECEASED mother. Sick! Avoid!!!!

Talcum claim is a scam …

Talcum claim is a scam don't trust KP law- They just take your details and use it for their benefit. We have been led on since 2025 March that we have had a case,been given the thumbs up we were made aware it was all positive- (we had death in the family and was actually proven was due to asbestos in the talcum powder.) Got an email a week ago we got dropped without any explanation and told to reapply and restart if we want like nothing happened. None can be reached on phone or email and none has the face to speak to us, being ghosted big time.
Makes no sense to drop people whom clearly have a case but it's obvious they don't know what they are doing or there has never been a case or, someone trying to brush this under the rug so less pay outs the better. They don't realise how difficult and painful it is to many people who went through the process hoping for answers and outcome only to be ignored and treated this bad.Zero professionalism and time wasters, hope your guilty conscious let's you sleep at night.
If considering them,Don't apply because you just going to be a number in their show off files amongst the other so called "3000+" claimants they are apparently helping.

Lengthy claim time.

I applied for a diesel claim on my mercedes in 2021, it's still not resolved. Kinda getting fed up and looking at taking my claim elsewhere.

So far so good they’ve kept me up to date relating to my claim.
And sent me e mails rest requesting info from myself to which I have replied promptly I’m hoping for thrm to do justice on my case /claim as this has been a long time coming and I’m so glad that somebody KP law have got the guts to bring this company to justice for my ill health I have suffered from 1991 aged just 20 I’m now 54 and if I had known I’d of never used this damn stuff that had ruined my life and more thank you KP law and let’s get justice for many other out there

Put in a diesel claim for my mercedes…

Put in a diesel claim for my mercedes emissions back in 2022, we are now in 2026 and I havent had any updates from KP in 2 years! Not kidding.

Last email was dated january 2024.

Portal links dont even work anymore.

Have the claims been settled and I jist havent been told? Very strange and not professional to go 2 years without an email.

Misleading at best communication

I recieved a telephone call from a person who did not speak clearly but lead me to believe he represented an organisation I had already signed up to some time ago and that the process was complete. He assured me the cheque would be with me by now. Having read the documents emailed to me I do not now believe this to be the case

Review after review highlights the same issues stretching back years, yet there appears to be no learning, improvement, or accountability.
I am a veteran, time-served in HM Armed Forces, and I suffer from undiagnosed tinnitus. From the outset, my experience with this firm has been deeply frustrating. I was sent dozens of emails repeatedly requesting the same information, which I had already provided in full in response to the very first request. Despite this, there was no acknowledgement, and the same request continued to be sent over and over again.
Phone contact has been equally poor. Calls are made at inconvenient times, so I arranged callbacks with specific dates and times. These were acknowledged, then completely ignored. Instead, I receive calls whenever it suits them, with no regard for what was agreed.
This is an absolute mockery of a professional service.
To be clear, this is not a criticism of the customer-facing staff. This is a systemic failure driven by poor processes and weak management or directorship. There is a clear lack of customer values, ownership, and any form of continuous improvement.
Given the pattern of responses seen publicly, I fully expect a generic, copy-and-paste reply to this review, followed by—once again—no meaningful change.
