We shop mostly at Southland and Chadstone Victoria stores. The stores are always clean and well stocked with loads of great buys for all of us. We enjoy the best prices and quality service, staff are always friendly and ready to help us. Our favorite buys are makeup, cute little homewares like candles and cups/glasses, and upgrades to decor such as lamps or cushions. The cat section is huge, my best buys there was definately the cat scratching pads, bed and the toys. Great selection of basics for both sexes of all ages,(I have 2 boys) including pyjamas, underwear and footwear. On occassion staff needs to be sought after but greets us with a smile and knowledgeable about products. There is both self checkout and registers with staff, which makes the payment process faster and easier.
Did I mention the chocolate selection hahaha

Online shopping took two weeks to deliver with NO emails to let me know it was late , I missed two birthdays waiting for the presents to arrive but mainly I’m mad about lack of contact by Kmart to let me know of the delay

Went to buy a heater as its freezing cold and kmart stopped stocking heaters and aee selling fans . Looks like another big company not giving a crap about customers . So no more shoppinh at kmart.

#1 Since I’m not Kmart employee it takes time out of my life to find products.
#2 It is hard to find employee assistance because employees are very scares in stores.
#3. A lot of the time once you do find an employee assistance, they don’t know where the products are either and have to look for them also.
#4. Not enough “Cash” registers available.
#5 We, customers, have to work the registers and pay ourselves. And when the registers don’t work as they should, takes time out of customers time for employee assistance to set the register right since there isn’t enough employee assistance at the registers either.
#6 Once we, customers, pay at the register located in the centre of the store. Then we have to be stopped at the entrance to prove that we have got a receipt before we go out of the store. If Kmart doesn’t trust their customers, put the registers back to the front of the store, close to the entrance.

Albury KMart today had only self serve registers open as the other register person was on door duty. 3 people including myself who didn’t want to use self serve were lined up and were eventually helped to use self serve. Why are the registers in the middle of the store and you then need to show the receipt to the person at the door? Very inefficient!!

Why are they using Couriers Please when they have the worst Google reviews. They delivered my parcel to wrong address & said KMart are at fault. KMart said no responsibility on their part. Emailed Head Office twice but no response. Won't buy online from them again.

My cat had $1000+ vet fees and became extremely sick due to Kmart toy. Kmart has ignored the claim though they have sufficient evidence of what happened. Their reasoning is that the company repackaged the item so now they aren’t liable to protect other cats or take responsibility for what happened to my cat.

Did a online order from Kmart, was supposed to be delivered to my home address but went to the post office instead when it was specifically stated it was to be delivered to my house. Don't bother getting your order delivered it takes forever, never again

Hooray Kmart are using Australia Post instead of Couriers Please, at least in my area for deliveries. I received my order, impressively packed in a box to my door within 48 hours. 10/10 Kmart ✅

Very disappointed with the customer service at Kmart Rouse Hill. Tried to return a heater within 2 weeks with receipt, but staff refused because the box was opened — even though Kmart’s policy allows returns for change of mind. They said it’s an “internal rule” at this store. I went to another Kmart and returned it with no problem. Waste of time and very poor service

The staff that worked at the Forest Lake store were amazing! Super friendly from the lady standing at the door to one of the Staff member's (think his name was Noah) who went over & beyond to help me find what I was looking for. Have not had such good service in a long time.

I bought removable blackout film from Kmart. Put them all on my large windows. Installed according to instructions. Thought a bargain at $10 each. They worked well untill a very hot spell. Within weeks the window formed cracks in it. Large and small due to thermal stress. With the film on the window was very hot to the touch. The window had to be be removed and replaced at a cost of over $300 to me. Kmart has been of no help. Even refused to pay the cost of replacement. If I could I would give zero stars. BEWARE DO NOT BUY THIS FILM.

Memory foam pillow is hard as rock - absolute terrible product, and beware, once you try to sleep on it, and can't, you're stuck with it, as they do not take returns on pillows. Cheap and nasty and fake memory foam. A waste of money.

Bought two throws for the couch, when I opened them the fabric of one was terrible and the other too small. Apparently you cannot return because bag is opened and they are considered bedding. Not sure how you can check the feel etc if you cant open the bag.
Just not worth it!

Kmart MT SHERIDAN should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for hiring a racist security guard who discriminates against those with a disability and takes advantage of those who are vulnerable.. twisting words of those with an intellectual disability..

Great online servcie - I have ordered from KMart many times and each time the online courier info/delivery service here in Perth has been excellent. The customer service when handling my returns has also been excellent. They have been prompt, polite and professional on each occasion.

Forget the nonexistent customer service and the decision to place their checkouts in the middle of the store, make you ring up your own purchases then demand you produce the receipt as your exit... Literally every time I've been in their Bateau Bay store there are 2 or 3 women collating hangers or folding clothes as they chat to each other behind "this checkout closed" signs and ignore the line of 10 or more customers waiting for a vacant self checkout terminal...
The fact is they sell the cheapest and most poorly made rubbish to get shipped out of third world countries. Despite their claims about supporting ethical and sustainable manufacturing processes, they sell rubbish plastic electronics that will last a day if they work as intended at all when you first use them, and which will be at the tip by the end of the week.
Their cheap batteries in their cheap 20cm battery powered fan seemed like a reasonable enough purchase for a two day camping trip but nope... From the start, the batteries and the fan electronics got so hot they were uncomfortable to hold. I kept swapping them out and within 5 mins, same problem. Went through two 18 packs of AA batteries, 3 at a time, in a little over an hour and tossed it all in a bin at the camp site.
The cheap linen and fleecy blankets work fine but again, it's all cheap and nasty and supports terrible labour conditions overseas.
Drive further and spend more. It will be more economical overall and maybe support Aussie businesses and workers.
I won't go in there again. It's a business model based on the lowest tier of mindless consumerism for profit.

Do not order online, the quotes timeframe is a lie, they do not contact you, they ignore your requests when you send enquiries about where your good are when they are week’s late! They will not refund when you complain you have been waiting weeks for your items. Terrible service and the delivery company is called get it fast! What a joke.

A little annoyed as my 14 year old Son came in to your store yesterday afternoon. He left to buy a bike lock for his bike. My Son was told he had 2 minutes to get the bike lock or security would take it. On top of that he's minding his own business and getting picked on and threatened by some other teenager. I get it, maybe people get annoying and repetitive. My Son has mild cerebral palsy and is no threat. Just be mindful coz there are genuine punks who need to be kicked out from your store time to time. Where was your security while my Son was being harassed?

Went to Kmart Broadway on Sunday, 11th May 2025, I visited your store to purchase vacuum bags (with pump) and a Mandalorian Lego set. Your website indicated both items were in stock—the vacuum bags showed a green "fully stocked" indicator, while the Lego set was listed as low stock but still available.

Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating:

Unhelpful Staff: When I asked for assistance, employees merely pointed at an empty shelf, claiming, "It’s all there," without checking the system or back storage. They dismissed me. when I noted the shelf was bare.

Service Desk Failure: The service desk confirmed both items were sold out after checking the back—contradicting your website’s real-time stock indicators.

Wasted Time & False Advertising: I spent 2 hours due to this misinformation. If your system can’t accurately reflect stock, it’s misleading advertising and disrespects customers’ time.

This isn’t an isolated issue—Kmart’s chronic stock mismanagement has driven shoppers (like me) to competitors like Target, where stock systems are reliable. When will this be fixed?
