Some issues
The item is fine, although the description on the website isn't very clear. Ordered a set of internal drawers for a 1000mm unit, having read and checked all the info on the site, and they arrived but didn't fit my 1000mm unit. It also arrived in a very bashed up box, but the drawers were not damaged. Emailed about it, they sent some nonsense about needing 180 degree hinges, which are chunkier than what I've got so would only make the problem worse, and then said drawers need to be installed above hinges to fit. If it said that ANYWHERE in the information online I would have ordered a different size.
Arranged return at £18 of my own money, cheapest I could get in timeframe. Had to reordered a smaller size which never got delivered and I had to chase. Eventually they discovered it had been returned to sender due to damage. Then weeks later I received the next one they sent out. Box also a bit damaged, but item OK.

Risposta di Kitchen Fittings Direct
Dear Customer,
Thank you for taking some time and share your experience which we appreciate to help us improve.
Apologize if the information on the website is not too clear and lack information to clarify.
We also apologize regarding the deliveries and timeframe, deliveries to the UK are usually 2-3 working days due to Brexit/customs.
It is unfortunate that the courier caused damages to the second order and returned the parcels back to us, yet as soon as we were aware of this a replacement order was sent out immediately.
To help clarify the sizing:
The drawers are designed to fit a standard 1000mm cabinet, where the internal width is 960–970mm once the gables and carcass thickness are accounted for.
The drawer width is 53mm less than the total cabinet width to allow room for the runners and smooth sliding operation.
The cabinet door must sit flush with the unit (as shown in the product images) to allow the drawer to slide out without obstruction.
Hinges take approximately 25mm from the internal width, so the drawers must be positioned above or below the hinge line to avoid clashing, as the wooden drawers are designed to occupy the maximum available internal space.
The 180degree hinges we supply and recommend allow the door to open fully flat, preventing it from obstructing the drawer when in use.
Please note that for a Please note that for a 1000mm unit, a smaller drawer size would not be suitable, as the minimum/maximum internal width required is 960–970mm
Due to the order being incorrectly ordered, the return cost does fall to the customer as per our returns policy.
