We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Devon. Surrounded by nature and far from any city noise, it was the perfect place to truly relax and unwind.
You can clearly see the love and care the owners have put into every detail of the cabin — it’s cozy, charming, and incredibly well looked after.
The owners were absolutely lovely — friendly, thoughtful, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more special.
We left feeling completely recharged and refreshed. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway in nature, this is the place.

We had a wonderful holiday. Kip’s website is great and booking was straightforward and friendly. The house and location were incredible. A stunning, luxurious and beautiful home which we couldn’t have loved more, am in awe of the owners impeccable taste. Perfect for a multi generational stay - highly recommended

Gorgeous farmhouse in a beautiful peaceful setting.

Faultless. The cabin is so beautifully designed, comfortable and had everything i could possibly need... and that window! It makes you feel like you have all the world to yourself. Its so private and special, stunning surroundings, great walks... Thank you, couldn't have asked for more... really can't wait to come back...

Idyllic countryside, beautifully restored farmhouse. The cosy kitchen was perfect for restorative supper after long walks. The location meant you could easily walk Cader Idris and Barmouth for a dip in the sea

The property and location were as described and just what we needed for a relaxing break.

There were some niggling maintenance issues with the property that I reported to the owner, who although very apologetic was unable to sort them before we left.

The wagon was well appointed and maintained. We met John one the hosts, a charming man. An excellent hideaway for a long weekend

A tiny perfect cabin in the middle of a beautiful, wild and nature filled spot.

Fantastic location. Lovely hosts with just the right amount of interaction. Very scenic spot, and easy access to St Ives and Penzance. Lots of top tips. Clean, Comfortable and Welcoming.

A truly amazing, beautiful location and a cabin with all the amenities. If you're a walker or a birder or enjoy botanical gardens, there's something for you here. Or if you just want to drive around the villages you'll find some exceptional pubs nestled in ridiculously pretty countryside. Then relax on the porch with your book and soak in the evening sun. Outstanding in every way.

The shepherd's hut is in a delightful location, the photos hardly do it justice. Having breakfast outside with the cows and sheep just feet away (on the other side of a wall!), the trees rustling above and the sea in view is as close as you get to nature with a bit of luxury.
The hut is beautifully fitted out and has everything one needs for a few days away from everyone and everywhere.

We had a lovely 3 night break in this beautiful setting. Wonderful views, very peaceful and comfortable, would highly recommend. Thank you.

Great short stay at a lovely cottage in Whitstable, easy booking system by KIP and great communication from both them and the owner of the cottage. Everything went smoothly and we arrived to find the most perfect cottage, even better than the photos and description, everything was thought of, it was in an ideal location and the quality of the furnishing etc were excellent. We will return to both this cottage and others in the KIP website.

A genuinely lovely house in a fantastic location. We would definitely like to stay again.

I felt that the contact from kip after the initial booking was lacking. I had not heard of kip hideaways I was worried about the company being legitimate. After the initial payment and confirmation email, there was nothing unless I contacted the owners. The booking experience certainly made me very nervous about buyers remorse crept in.

When we arrived at the property we were blown away. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Alicia was great easy to contact if you have any questions, with prompt replies.

The property location was great with so much to see and do all within easy reach. We would definitely stay again.

Papillon is a beautiful boat moored in Little Venice. It's beautifully designed and very comfy. It was lovely to find some fresh bread, eggs and butter as well as basic supplies. Check in was super easy as the owner met me and gave me a tour. I loved the area full of great cafes and restaurants as well as being near to Clifton nurseries and the puppet barge. I walked all the way along Regent's canal to the book barge and soaked up all the sights and sounds of canal life. I would thoroughly recommend a stay on Papillon.

The birdhouse was the perfect getaway for two city dwellers to escape from the hustle bustle & relax.

The Birdhouse is such a gorgeous place to stay. We immediately felt a calmness upon arrival being surrounded by the forest & it was lovely waking up to the birds singing in the morning.

The amenities were great, we made good use of the hot tub, fire pit and sauna. The suggestions by the owners of where to go were all top notch, especially the Lord Poulett pub, it was a gorgeous addition to the trip.

West Cottage was an amazing base to explore this bleak but beautiful Kent coastline. It was snug and warm, despite the chilly wind during the day, and the cold, clear evenings. The decor was tasteful and comfortable (although the sofa took some getting used to!).

One star taken off for the sofa, and for not providing a welcome hamper (but given the remoteness of the location, I get why this wasn't provided).

Absolutely stunning stay in The Smithy!

I saw the location pop-up on the Kip Hideaways instagram and I found myself perusing for Easter Weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced it was for such a busy weekend. I immediately booked it and my partner were counting down the days to our little country escape.

The stay did not disappoint. The hosts emailed us all the detail we needed before we arrived and made it super easy to find. The venue itself was gorgeous, so well put together and cosy. We had everything we could possibly need as well as a fully functioning kitchen with all the utensils and tools as well as soap etc. to clean up (which isn't always the case) meaning we could enjoy our cosy stay in and cook for ourselves which was lovely. The wood burner heated the entire tiny house and kept us toasty and warm but there were also excellent radiators on the mezzanine and bottom floor if we needed the extra heat.

The star of the show really was the roll-top, copper bathtub in the adjacent outhouse. Built outside the house with stone floors and wood walls/cieling to give it an even better bath experience when you're sat soaking in the hot water but the air outside is cool. Absolutely unreal. We also thought we might possible run through the hot water the heater provided but were super surprised that it stayed warm for ages and got really hot so you could get the perfect bath temp. The bath itself does hold in the heat so it was a truly wonderful experience.

Situated between Oswestry and Whittington, you could easily walk to the pub in Whittington or take a 10 minute drive to Oswestry to do your food shopping or eat out and have a drink. It's also 30 minutes from Shrewsbury which was a delightful town with a lot to offer.

The venue itself was nestled amongst a few other homes on an estate but it was insanely quiet and peaceful at all points throughout the day which was really lovely.

We had two chickens as visitors each morning which was also fun!

Would highly, highly recommend this unique little gem in the Welsh/Shropshire countryside!
