Pour le Kilimandjaro, nous étions accompagnés par l’équipe de Selemani : une équipe dynamique, motivante et bienveillante qui nous a littéralement portés jusqu’au sommet. C’est impressionnant de voir tout ce qu’ils parviennent à transporter jusqu’au camp de base à plus de 4600 m , un véritable camping de luxe et des repas 5 étoiles !
Nous avons ensuite enchaîné avec un safari guidé par Michael, un passionné aussi compétent que sympathique, accompagné de Walter qui nous a régalés avec ses délicieux repas.
Enfin, mention spéciale à Evariste, le gérant, toujours disponible, réactif et rassurant tout au long de nos échanges, avant et même pendant le voyage.

We had a great time climbing Kilimanjaro via the 8 day Lemosho route with the Kilimanjaro heroes adventures team. From our arrival at Kilimanjaro airport to dropping us back off, the entire team made us feel extremely welcomed! Their professionalism, friendliness and skill allowed us to reach our goal of the summit. Our guides, Paramba and D’Clea, always made a point to check how we were feeling throughout our journey and ensured we felt comfortable at all times. The effort from our guides and their team of porters was outstanding - our camp was always set up for our arrival with an array of coffees, teas etc and plenty snacks to keep us going. The meals throughout our time climbing were always excellent and the morning ‘bed tea’ was always well received. Communication with head office over WhatsApp was always very punctual and informative. We had an experience of a lifetime and would 100% recommend Kilimanjaro heroes adventures!

We climbed Kilimanjaro with KILIMANJARO HEROES ADVENTURE LTD using Marangu route-6days. We've had an amazing time and our guides(Emanuel &Robert) are top notch professionals guided us to the top; Everything was amazing from start to the end.

We booked our combo Kilimanjaro hike (Machame route, 7 days), and safari (5 days in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro), using Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures.
From the very beginning, Evarist was extremely patient and available: he communicated for a few weeks via whatsapp to discuss our needs and desires. He planned for us two weeks climbing Kili and doing a safari. He was always available to provide clarifications, suggest what to pack, how to prepare, and so on.
We discussed hotel and lodge options, discussed possible swaps and upgrades in the accommodations where possible.
As this was our honeymoon, Evarist made sure to give us the best treatment, with small perks and surprises here and there.

Our mountain guide (Emanuel, accompanied by Robert), picked us up at the airport, showed us where to exchange money, accompanied us to the hotel, did a gear check, and supported my wife in finding a pair of decent hiking boots, as hers broke on the way. We had a one day hike at Materuni waterfall, where we also experience coffee and traditional food of the Chagga people. Emanuel shared facts and trivia about Tanzania and life there, giving us a first introduction into the country we were getting to explore.

During the 7 days hike, we experienced “all the colours of Kili”, from rain to sun and snow at the summit. The guides taught us a lot about the country and their life there, making the hikes very pleasant and relaxed.
At camp, the whole crew was always very friendly and available, taking care of us and making sure everything was always on point. Food was plenty and delicious (kudos to Mama Africa, or Sahidi, our chef). The evening medical check was a moment to reflect on the day and assess our state and how our bodies were adapting to the altitude and the efforts. On summit day, Emanuel and Robert helped us during the long and tiresome night hike, supporting us mentally and physically, pushing us to reach the summit on a splendid sunny morning.
After we got our certificates, shared a toast and some singing, we were taken back to our hotel, where soon after our safari guide (Jamal) came to brief about the logistics of the upcoming safari.

We spent the next 5 days roaming through natural parks, learning about the Tanzanian fauna and spotting all the big 5 as well as plenty more animals. Every morning, we would start between 5 and 7AM our game drive with the precious help of our trusted guide.
Jamal allowed us the highest degree of flexibility, accommodating early departures and long days on the jeep, with plenty of stops to take in the endless sceneries of Serengeti, always looking for ‘hints’ to spot rare animals. His company and expertise made the trip adventurous, instructive, and rewarding.

We can highly recommend the company, the guides, and the whole crew! We were provided amazing accommodations, cheerful and knowledgeable guides, great food, and small attentions (such as a “just married” flag to take pictures with at the summit of Kili, bottles to celebrate, and many more tiny things) that made the holiday truly unforgettable!

I spent 4 days in Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Heroes, and I can recommend the company everyone. I visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. I found that it is the minimum time required to experience the Safari feeling, and it is undouptedly worth taking a week tour. Our guide, Honest, was a real pro with true passion, and spotted without a problem animals, where we couldn’t and explained a lot about what to look and how. Our “belly doctor” Chef Severin turned every day into a dream, where we felt like a king. We were taking the camping option, but it was much more convenient than we expected, and was very comfortable. I had certain fears before the trip about mosquitos and snakes and pick up at the airport and so on, but they turned out to be completely unfounded. The whole organization was very professional and most satisfying.

I just wanted to share my amazing experience climbing Kilimanjaro—truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! It was definitely challenging, but the support from the guides and crew made all the difference in helping us reach the summit.

A huge thank you to Solomon, Busbusa, Michael Jackson, and Moady. They were incredible throughout the trip, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Big thank you to the rest of the porters as well.

The only downside was the tipping situation. When booking, you agree on a set rate, but once you’re there, the guides expect a lot more, which can feel a bit uncomfortable—even when tipping above average.

Aside from that, the safari was fantastic, and Henry was such a great guide—super knowledgeable and a really lovely person.

Our safari in Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Heroes was nothing short of spectacular! The trip was perfectly organized, leaving no detail overlooked. From the very beginning, Evarist tailored the entire experience to suit our needs, understanding exactly what we wanted and ensuring every moment exceeded our expectations.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly our guide, Mr. Mbise, who is hands-down the best guide you could ever hope for. His deep knowledge, passion, and warm personality made the adventure truly unforgettable.

The safari itself was absolutely sensational – the landscapes, wildlife, and overall experience left us in awe.

Nous avons décidé de faire l'ascension du Kilimandjaro en 6 jours par la voie Machame avec Kilimandjaro Heroes.

Nous avons fait ce choix car le prix était compétitif et grâce aux retours ravis d'amis qui avaient fait l'expérience plus tôt dans l'année.
Avant le départ le contact est facilité par Evariste disponible sur WhatsApp pour faire des visios et répondre a toutes nos questions. Ils ont su être très flexibles et s'adapter a nos emplois du temps.

Une fois arrivés nous avons été pris en charge à l'aéroport puis emmenés à l'hôtel où nous avons pu rencontrer notre guide Mwinyi qui nous a briefé et confirmé/loué le matériel nécessaire.
Le matin du départ nous avons rencontré l'équipe au complet qui nous accueilli avec le champ des grimper du Kili, qui a finit en concours de danse

Les 4 premiers jours sont dédiés à l'acclimatation en montant progressivement plus haut en altitude. Le professionnalisme de l'équipe a été de rigueur avec un point santé quotidien. Sur notre chemin nos guides ont su rendre les journées intéressantes et drôles. Nous avons parlé du pays, de la culture, de la faune, de la flore locale. Nous avons aussi écouté de la musique, chanté, dansé et fait des blagues.

Monter au sommet a été plus difficile à cause du temps qui a joué contre nous, en effet les blizzard sont rares, mais grâce à Mwinyi nous y sommes arrivés.

L'équipe a été incroyable d'attention et de générosité. Ils étaient tous là pour donner un sourire, du soutien, porter un sac, apporter de l'eau chaude,...

Nous avons bien mangé grâce au chef qui fait des miracles, et bien dormi dans nos tentes plutôt spacieuses et matelassées.

Si l'aventure vous dit, demander à avoir Mwinyi comme guide, au delà du professionnalisme, vous aurez une aventure humaine extraordinaire.

Amazing adventure and experience with Kilimanjaro Heroes! The entire team made it possible for us to climb Kilimanjaro which was quite challenging. We couldn’t have found a better team, support and group. This is a local company supporting locals as well. Strongly recommend it.

As part of our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to climb Kilimanjaro.

I reached out to a couple of companiess, as we wanted to do the Umbwe route, and we wanted to do it quicker than most.

Evarist from Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures provided the best solution, responding quickly to all my many queries. He provided a great price and a bespoke package.

Our guide, Dominic, picked us up at the airport and gave us a thorough briefing. The next morning we met the rest of this incredible team. Our porters, and chef, and another guide Joshua. We hadn't expected such an entourage.

We had a few fantastic days with the team climbing, they were knowledgable, professional, and by the end of it - friends!

The tents and equipment were amazing, the food was unbelievable and plentiful (thanks Roger!), and they were happy to plan around us, keeping going when we weren't tired and allowing us to push to the top!

We reached the summit in a total whiteout, we wouldn't have been able to do it without the amazing guiding from Joshua and Dominic. Just brilliant.

If we're ever back in the area - this will be the company I choose.

Je recommande fortement cette équipe. Ce sont des gens de cœur, et très soucieux pour notre sécurité ! Jamais j’ai eu peur pour ma sécurité, ils sont géniaux! Nous étions un gros groupe de 19 personnes et ils ont été au delà de nos attentes. Les porteurs, les cuisiniers et les guides sont vraiment des gens rempli de passion pour cette montagne et adore partagez leurs connaissances avec nous.

Nous avons ris, chanter, danser et même pleurer ensemble ! Ils ont été ma famille pour 7 jours là bas. Leur service avant, pendant et après est irréprochable! La cuisine était délicieuse et réconfortante. Les tentes toujours prêtes dès notre arrivée à chaque camp. Ils vivent l’expérience a fond avec nous jusqu’au top!

Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures is an amazing company! Me and 2 friends embarked on an amazing safari organised by Kilimanjaro Heroes. The process was easy and flexible. Evarist and his team made sure to answer any questions we had, provided support throughout the booking process and gave us great recommendations and tips. Both the guide and chef were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was pleasant.

Once we arrived in Arusha we had our wonderful guide pick us up and the journey started. In 4 days we travelled through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and it was an incredible experience - especially at the hands of Kilimanjaro heroes and our amazing guide.

On Day 1 we entered Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park well known for the presence of many elephants. It was a great park although a little more crowded than others we visited. The picnic area, where we had lunch was spectacular and had views of the Tarangire river in the distance, where you could see elephants bathing and drinking. Lunch on day 1 was very tasty and the chef was very friendly and professional - he checked with us regularly to make sure we were happy with the food. For day 1 we ate dinner and stayed overnight at a lodge in a triple room, the accommodation was great, clean and amenities were amazing (pool, garden areas, restaurant area, etc.) Overall this day was amazing and a truly great start to our safari adventure.

On Day 2 we moved towards Serengeti National Park via 2 viewpoints: Lake Manyara Viewpoint and Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint. We also stopped at a local Masai village where we stayed for around 30-40 mins to learn about Masai culture. After several hours of driving we arrived at the first entrance of the Serengeti National Park where we enjoyed our lunch again the food was great and the chef came to make sure everything was perfect. After our pleasant meal we began driving deeper into the Serengeti heading towards our campsite (in the middle of the Serengeti). On this drive we spotted many animals and it was a great drive as we watched the sunset and spotted animals in the more baron area of the Serengeti - it is truly astonishing to see how vast and baron this place is. For our dinner and overnight stay we were camping in the Serengeti, truly an incredible experience. This day was amazing and the sunset was incredible.

On Day 3 we started really early in the morning and continued exploring the Serengeti, this time visiting a more lush part of the Serengeti, with small pockets of “oasis” like environments with hippos, crocodiles, etc. We continued searching for animals and spotted a family of lions sitting under a tree. Surrounded by the savannah, elephants in the background, lions 2-3 metres from us it was one of the most incredible sights I have ever witnessed. We drove back to our campsite to collect our belongings and have lunch before heading to our next stop, Ngorongoro. We drove directly to our camping on the crater rim where we were greeted by some friendly zebras, grazing on the grass around our tents. We then enjoyed dinner and got some rest at our new camping. Day 3 was truly amazing and one of my favourite days, even though we spent a lot of the day travelling from Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

On Day 4 we also started quite early and headed to the crater which was a short drive away from the camping. We drove through the crater and spotted thousands of animals, the landscapes and wildlife at this park are truly breathtaking. Since we started early and had a good 5-6 hours of game drive we drove back to our campsite for lunch before packing up and heading to Kilimanjaro airport (our departure point). Our guide accompanied us to the airport and made sure we had all our luggage. This day was by far the most amazing as this national park is incredible - the amount and variety of wildlife we were able to spot was astounding and thanks to our guide we managed to spot many hidden/camouflaged animals.

I highly recommend travelling with this company, we really enjoyed the experience and we really noticed this company was superior to others we were seeing on the road. Both in the quality of the vehicles and in the quality of driver guides and chefs. We were always pleased to see our guide was one of the first to spot amazing wildlife and he went above and beyond to make sure we got a good spot for pictures and observation. Our chef consistently delivered delicious food which looked far better than some other groups that were staying at the same camping.

Overall a 10/10 recommendation, I truly hope you decide to book with Kilimanjaro Heroes and get to experience the northern circuit like me and my 2 friends did.

We did the 8 day Northern circuit route up Mount Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro Heroes and they were brilliant start to finish. Communication when we were looking at booking and up to arrival was seemless. The hotel in Moshi was as described, they met us the day before the hike to go through everything and were really helpful. Our guides were David and Sirily, they were both great, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable so you’d be lucky to get these guys. Our chef was Kadri and the food was really good, we were pleasantly surprised! All our porters (Brian, Mustafa, Innocent, Edwin & Otto) were always there to go above and beyond and help us out and we definitely wouldn’t have made the summit without this team! All the equipment supplied was of good quality, trek as a whole was reasonable priced and worth every penny. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience with this company, thank you!

Le voyage s'est intégralement bien passé. J'étais seul dans l'ascension dans mon guide et je ne me suis pas ennuyé. La cuisine était excellente et en quantité suffisante. Je n'ai pas eu de diahrées contrairement à certain autres voyages. Un soir où j'étais vraiment malade, le cuisinier m'a demandé ce que j'aimais le plus et il m'a fait un bon plat avec ce que j'aimais. La tente était toujours construite quand je suis arrivé, même si mon guide et moi sommes allés très rapidement. Il y a juste un petit point négatif. Le jour de mon arrivé, le chauffeur n'était pas là. Une personne à du téléphoner à l'agence pour me faire venir un taxi.

One of the best experiences we ever had in our lives. They made sure everything went smoothly and were very well prepared for any situation. All the guides/porters/cooks we had for the Killimanjaro hike and the safari were sooooo nice and friendly. It is also one of the few local companies, so if you want to support a local business definitely choose Killimanjaro Heroes Adventures.

I completed a 7 day trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures.
They are a small company with plenty of expertise in dealing with everything that might occur on Africa's highest mountain.
It was an amazing adventure, tough at times, but totally worth it!
The team that helped me make my dream come true were all fantastic, always upbeat, with great morale & a smile.
My guide, Gasper, helped me so much. He explained everything to me in a way that put me at ease, he guided me with great knowledge, always with high morale & he shared loads of interesting information throughout the trek.
The rest of the team were great, the cook, the day-to-day assistant & the porters all made me feel welcome & full of positivity.

Je viens de terminer une ascension exceptionnelle qui restera gravée dans mon esprit pendant très longtemps.
Je peux que recommander cette magnifique expérience sportive et émotionnelle sans oublier la richesse humaine.
