Would recommend JV Carpentry.

I contacted a few carpenters to install shelving and cupboards in my lounge alcoves and decided to go with JV Carpentry because of their customer service, politeness and competitive pricing.

When George came to take measurements to give a quotation, he was polite, took his shoes off at the door (not all tradespeople do this!) and answered all our questions. It was easy to book the work in and the correspondence/ease of getting in touch with Jeff was great.

The carpenters / painters again were respectful of my flat and did the work within two days. I was very pleased with the finish and would highly recommend JV Carpentry. The painters even worked a 12 hour day to ensure that the work was finished properly.

After reading many positive reviews about JV Carpentry, my husband and I decided to go with them. And we were not disappointed. The team were friendly, professional, exceptionally hard working and turned up on time every morning to finish the job in four days. We felt comfortable leaving them in our house alone and Andy and Inna did a fantastic job painting the wardrobes once the clever carpenters had finished the instalment. Our floor to celling wardrobes look amazing and I'd certainly recommend Jeff, George and his team to anyone. Thanks guys. Nina & Phil.

Fast, efficient and more importantly JVC delivered a really good final product. JVC built 4 units / bookshelves for us. They were built quickly by the carpenters and the painters did an excellent job. The units look cool and contemporary. I would definitely use them again.

JV Carpentry provided a very reasonable quote in comparison to the big national wardrobe makers (Hammonds and Sharps). The design was as per the Sharps design and exactly what we asked for. The wardrobes were fitted and painted within about 3-4 weeks of us confirming that we wished to proceed. The carpenters and painters worked hard and we are very pleased with the end result. Thanks!

We approached 3 different carpenters for the job of building fitted wardrobes, a fitted chest (bedding box) and shelves in an awkward loft space with slanted ceiling on the one side and slanted wall on the other. When George came over to measure up, he asked us exactly how we wanted it all and gave lots of advice, which was actually a lot better than the other two companies. That, plus a prompt turnaround with emails and sketches, better availability and better price made us choose these guys, and we're glad we did! The guys turned up promptly to do the work, spent all day doing a fantastic job and cleaned up really well at the end of the day. Then we had another guy come in and do 3 coats of paint over the next 3 days. We're so happy with the results and will be recommending them to all of our friends and family in the area!

JV carpentry did an excellent job on a large shelving unit. I would recommend them to anyone.

Within a day of my initial call, George had come round to discuss the job, measure up and take photos. The quote arrived shortly after and we agreed a date for installation, which was about a month away (part of this time was the Christmas holiday). I asked that this date not shift and was given an assurance that it wouldn't - and it didn't! The detailed plans were agreed a few days before the start, taking account of some last-minute adjustments. I was told that the team would arrive at 8am to begin installation and that is exactly what happened! They worked incredibly hard to complete in a day, with painters for the next three days. Everyone involved was respectful, considerate and careful, protecting all surfaces and tidying up afterwards. My sense was that JV really want you to be pleased with the results, and I was! The quality of the workmanship is very high and I would definitely recommend. They even found time to adjust my entrance door which was sticking - I didn't ask them to, they offered and that doesn't happen too often does it?! Many thanks indeed!

I had a fitted wardrobe built by JV Carpentry. The wardrobes looks fantastic. The workers were on time and very respectful of my space - they cleaned up after themselves and left the room very tidy and clean.

I had a custom TV unit installed by Jeff's team and the service was great from start to finish. They were on time, professional, quick and the finished result looks stunning! I would not hesitate to recommend JV Carpentry to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and will definitely be using them again for any future carpentry projects.

Good quality work but bit slow on dealing with query

This is the first time i used a company without a personal recommendation, but having read so many of the positive reviews, and being able to see the gallery of photo, i thought i would take a chance. I am so very glad that i did.
Every interaction with Jeff and his team was incredibly professional, from first visit, to design, and then on site doing the construction and painting work. I am incredibly happy with the outcome - even better then i had imagined the wardrobes and shelves would look. Thank you Jeff - i would have not hesitation recommending JV Carpentry and i will certainly be using your services again.

We had quite large bespoke shelving installed. From start to finish - JV Carpentry took time to understand what we wanted ensuring that the team that built, installed and painted everything - knew exactly what they were doing. They took care to protect other items in the property and were hardworking and professional throughout.

It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for - a superbly finished product and I have no complaints at all and have already recommended them to others.

Had some fitted wardrobes made last year by JV carpentry and we were very happy with the result so had no hesitation in using Jeff and his team again for some fitted bookshelves and a radiator cover. Once again we were impressed by the service and would recommend them to anyone.

Jeff was very easy to deal with. He understood what we were looking for and prepared a good set of drawings for us. He sent someone round to measure up and they were on time and professional. The carpenters and the painter were very efficient and everything was finished to deadline. They were very tidy workers and ensured the carpet and work area was protected from damage. We love the look and finish of the wardrobes and I would highly recommend JV Carpentry.

We are extremely happy with the work carried out by the guys at JV Carpentry. I drew a rough plan of the wardrobes I wanted building into the alcoves and they came back with a detailed scale drawing very quickly. Two guys came and built the wardrobes over two days and their clean up was meticulous. We were very impressed. The painting work took a further four days. We had to ask the painter to pop back to touch up a couple of areas, but she came straight away and we're really happy with the finished product. We would definitely recommend.

I'm a big user of Pinterest and use it for personal and work use. I found an image of a bookshelf on Pinterest exactly how I wanted mine to be built. After spending some time trying to draw it I noticed that I could click on the link and it took me to the makers website. This was JV Carpentry, I emailed them straight away and they immediately came back to me with a good and fast quote and a drawing for approval. A date was arranged for installation and it all happened in a very quick time (I ordered a coffee table around the same time and that arrived 2 weeks after the bookcase completion). The service was excellent and I am very pleased with my bookcase and will definitely use JV Carpentry again. Thanks to the Team for the great job!
