I've been using Justin Guitar since 2020, when I picked back up my guitar for the first time in 17 years ! He makes learning easy, fun and accessible for beginners. I use many of the resources available on his website, both free and paid ones and they are all excellent. I highly recommend Justin to guitar players of all levels. He has something for everyone.

Clear learning path with easy to follow instructions. I bought the solo blues course which I very much recommend if you're into that style. The match my sound makes it easy to see where you need to work on and Justin also guides you along the difficult parts. There also lots of free lessons on the site, so give it a try!

Justinguitar.com has really been the most fantastic resource to help me learn guitar. I took lessons for a couple of years over twenty years ago, I stopped playing until last year. I told myself that I want to really learn guitar and searched and found out about Justin. I’m finishing up the beginner course (I love the lesson tracker as well as all of the songs to play along with) it’s soooo much better than the old days of a 30 minute lesson once a week. My plan is to continue on with all his courses and lessons and to become a much better player of rock, blues and country styles.

Justin got me going on guitar 13 years ago and I've been going strong ever since. His patient and logical style makes learning fun!

Justin guitar is a phenomenal tool with which to take your guitar playing to the next level…. Regardless of where you start. I’m in my 60’s and have dreamed of playing for many years. Being a leftie has not helped me - I have often found teachers unprepared for the additional complication of reading tabs “upside down” but I found the whole suite of resources on Justin’s app and website incredibly intuitive. I now have my 5 “party” songs in pretty good shape and making good progress. Justinguitar deserves a 5* rating for the learning experience alone but he and his team seem to me to be good people as well - what’s not to like?

Justin has a marvellous knack for understanding the hassles that beginner and intermediate guitarists face, breaking it down into structured lessons and communicating them to his students. The variety of teaching methods he uses makes him stand out above the rest.

JustinGuitar has been with me on my guitar journey for what must be 25 years now. Every time I return to guitar after a break or start a new band I always come back to the lessons and now both my kids are going through them with me. You can’t beat playing the app songs or going through the books with your boys on a Sunday afternoon. There’s no one better. I am a “want to be guitar player” since 1975! I have gone through many guitars and programs on how to play the guitar, pick it up and them put it down! I even went through this cycle with some of Justin’s books that I purchased. Well, yesterday I had to put new strings on my “old” guitar. I wanted to do it right and found a video from Justin on how to do it. Great video and now I have new strings done right. What this all is getting to: Going back and watching Justin’s video finally convinced me that I really don’t need to be looking around anymore, but focus on Justin’s training going forward. Very much appreciated and great work!

Justin Guitar is amazing, and all for free (unless you choose to donate or subscribe at some point). It guided me from beginner level to playing so many of the songs I love, starting off easy and getting progressively harder. I even managed a few open mic nights with a friend.
This place should be the first port of call for all guitarists on their journey to getting better and having fun with it.

Justin is an amazing teacher who has a passion for sharing his knowledge. Justin's lessons are excellent and there are none better at explaining how to play songs from the library of song lesson from Metallica to Taylor Swift.

Justinguitar is my only guitar source and the only one I need. From print books to online lessons and workshops, Justin provides everything I need to improve as a guitar player.

It’s very simple. When you want to learn a song or improve your guitar skills this is the only site you need. No more to be said.

Justin (& his team) are just so good. Especially for beginners like me. The free web lessons are really really good. I don't pay for the app; you don't strictly need to unless that style of learning is your thing.

I watched his "Learn the fretboard" stream last night (first time I've attended one) and I bought the Note Trainer app off the back of it and it's really good; again, aimed at beginners. He even said so himself on stream. I forget the wording, but basically use it until you've learnt the fretboard, then you're done with it. Which reflects in the one-off price $4.99/£4.39. No subscription yay.

I have never seen a program so organized! It has enabled me to learn what I never thought was possible at my age. Thank you Justin!!
