I have been hiring campers from Just Go for many years, often hiring two a year. Always had a great experience all round. The company has recently been sold to Indie Campers and the changes have been dramatic. Reduced staffing levels leading to a wait of over two hours for collection with no time slot given as was the previous system. Mild damage happened to the vehicle which was mended within hours of drop off (I actually went straight back to the depot to view the damage within hours of drop off to be told that I could not see the vehicle as already in cleaning dept) . Was given an initial figure for the damage by email which was around the figure expected and that I had also discussed with the team at the dept, however when the damage report arrived, the figure was three times as much. Have argued for weeks as the final figure was way more than the actual costs could have possibly been. Have got no where and will therefore not be hiring from Just Go again. An example of how new owners can completely change the service, policies and overall experience for the worse.
We hired a 6 berth camper for 17 days back in Easter. The booking process was good, picking it up wasn't great and we had some problems. We had water in the wing mirror, which caused the bulb to go, which they just cleaned out and replaced the bulb and said it will be fine but during our trip it started filling back up with water. We were wild camping for the 1st few days and had no water, we somehow lost 100L of water during our journey. We had no oven tray to cook with, had to find a shop in France to buy one.
No plug sockets worked in the camper when wild camping, you have to be connected to the mains, was not told this.
The pins in the mains lead were loose and would get stuck in the plug when we disconnected.
Blinds were broken, we told them when we picked up the van and someone came and had and look and said no they are ok. The bin was held together with wood screws so the plastic lid on the plastic bin kept falling off.
The main problem we had was when we converted the dining table into a bed it broke! We tried to fix it, we rang and reported it. We were told to go and find someone who can fix it, pay them and they would reimburse us. My problem was we were in the middle of our holiday, parked up at a holiday campsite in Spain. I don't want to use my precious holiday time with my children to go hunt down someone who could or could not fix it. So the youngest (13) had to share a bed for the rest of the trip.
When we returned the RV to the Toddington branch we told them we wanted to make a complaint and they sent us a link to do so. Well who knew it was going to be such a palava.
So while we were away Just Go was taken over by Indie Campers, we have been past all over the place trying to get some compensation for all the issues we had.
I have submitted the complaints form twice, I have called over 20+ times, I have been told my complaint is 10th queue so someone will get back to me soon. I went back to the Toddington branch to speak to a manager, there wasn't one on site that day but I got her email address and we have been communicating but today she tells me she doesn't deal with complaints or compensation and she is just escalating my complaint.
I would have recommended this company before as we have hired from them before as they are local to us but after this experience I would not recommend. Avoid!
AVOID!!! Trying to speak with anyone at "Just go Motorhomes", "Bunk Campers" or "Indie Campers" is impossible!. Have left voice mails and sent emails to all 3. They all use the same voice mail system and you never get a call back or a response to an email.
Will be getting my money back from the bank and report them for fraud!
AVOID this company. We hired a motorhome from the Toddington depot for the Easter weekend. The bed broke on the first evening. Despite a number of calls to the "emergency" On Road Support number, nothing at all was done to resolve the issue. In the absence of sleeping facilities we were forced to abandon the trip and return home the next morning. When we returned the vehicle, we requested a refund via their grievance report process. Two months later there is still complete silence from JustGo. We have emailed their parent company Indie Campers repeatedly and get nothing more than platitudes and holding emails. Really abysmal customer service.
Upon return we were told that there was a damage on the mirror however my partner showed them a video of the vehicle prior on which it was seen that the damage was already present beforehand. Make sure to take photos/videos firsthand. Customer service is a nightmare, I have been dealing with Abigail (apparently there are two of them) and both are the same incompetent. I have asked for an email confirmation in regards to the refund and I have been promised by both that they will facilitate it, it's been nearly a week and both can't deliver what they ought to do.

Im saddened to be putting this review on here as the actual process of hiring the motorhome and holiday we had was really good but the stressed caused now has ruined the experience . We paid a 2500 deposit and was told it would be refunded within 10 working days of return. The 10 days has passed and no deposited . Contacted Justgo and they advised it wasnt them releases it but the card issuer . When i contacted card issuer they said due to amount of deposit being held i needed and email on headed paper stating they where happy for deposit to be returned . Since that i am being passed from person to person with a promise of an email . My last communication was that it might take up to 28days to process refund which was never mentioned at the time . I have had no response for 4 days now when all it takes is an email that i can pass on to my card company for immediate refund . I would advise not to use Just go if you have to pay a deposit as return within 10 days just isnt true

Is there a phone line problem? I’ve left two voicemails and when I have got through, it just keeps me on eternal hold before cutting the call. I’m trying to pay my balance as the payment link doesn’t work and am very concerned. Is this what I can expect if there is a problem on the road?

Stress free check in and check out only small criticism would be there was now way to ignite the gas hob, had to sponge a lighter on our first morning as we were told it was an electric ignition but that was only for the oven.

Said they were open. Drove over 40 miles to see a motorhome but were turned away but rude staff saying they were busy and we could come again later. Do NOT come again later.

I hired a campervan from Just Go for two weeks starting 12 November. While the experience began positively — with responsive pre-booking communication and a clear, friendly handover — things quickly went downhill once the trip started.
As a first-time campervan renter, I relied heavily on Just Go to provide a vehicle that was genuinely fit for purpose for a two-week winter trip. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
The van supplied was very basic and lacked several features commonly shown in Just Go’s marketing imagery (awning, oven, microwave, toaster). While the company later stated these are not included in the specific model I booked, this was not made clear at the time and was disappointing when collecting the vehicle — especially when better-equipped vans were visible on site.
The biggest issue was gas. The van was supplied with a single small 6kg LPG bottle, which ran out after just a few days. As heating and cooking both rely entirely on gas, this caused significant stress. I spent a full day trying to find an LPG refill station in an off-season location, and as a result I avoided using the heater properly and slept in a very cold van on multiple nights.
What concerns me most is the lack of support. On the day I ran out of gas, I phoned the support line and was told someone would call me back to arrange a solution. I followed up again several hours later and was reassured a call was coming. No one ever contacted me. Being left completely unsupported in winter raises serious concerns about how Just Go would respond to a more critical issue.
In their reply, Just Go explained that renters are expected to refill gas every 3–5 days in winter and that this applies even to larger vehicles. If this is the case, it should have been clearly explained at handover, particularly to a first-time renter. It wasn’t. The expectation that customers simply “figure this out” on the road is unreasonable.
The company response does acknowledge poor communication and incorrect advice from staff, which I appreciate. However, no compensation was offered for the lost time, discomfort, or lack of support experienced during the hire.
Overall, this felt like a missed opportunity for good customer care during what should have been a quiet time of year. With clearer guidance, better vehicle matching, and reliable support, this could have been a very different experience.
I would recommend Just Go only to experienced campervan users who already understand gas systems and winter travel — not to first-time renters looking for reassurance and support.

My wife and I were very happy with the whole experience of renting a motorhome for 5 weeks from "Just go". Advance booking & payment was easy; a friendly welcome and hand-over at Redhill Farm; the vehicle was clean and modern; the hand-back was quick and easy.
There was slight damage on a bumper bar during our rental, but I was charged only 10 pounds! (Amazing, I was scared I'd be charged hundreds.) Indeed, the nice lady at hand-back refunded my 50 pounds that I'd prepaid for a easy Drop-Off service since I had filled the gas bottle, water tank, AdBlue and diesel tank myself (I'd forgotten I prepaid)!

Van was fine.
Negative points
No door mats for in and out.
No baskets to stop crockery etc crashing around in the cupboards.
Pillows were the cheapest available. We purchased what was missing and left it in the van. Hope the next customer benefited!
The most annoying aspect was a fleet manager talking box that commented in a young patronising voice so accelerating on a motorway slip lane to match the speed of the traffic you would be told to “go steady”. Waiting for the gate to open at the depot we were told penalty warning and then penalty issued. It was frustrating. Wouldn’t rent from them again unless the spy in the cab was disabled
