Haphazard from start to finish

They missed the first delivery date.
Then they missed the second - though that was because they spotted a faulty unit from the manufacturer (havingvleft delivery to them, until the last minutes).
Then the shipped the unit without without two of the options I requested.
I ordered the £200 bluetooth speaker option, which arrived after the unit, with no instructions and an email saying hard wire into a fused spur.
Turns out that bluetooth unit forgets connections and requires restarting and re-pairing after each use. As instructions did nit say that a switch was required, the unit is not now usable.
They deny that this is not acceptable.
Quite haphazard and very low quality service.

Update 29/6/22 in response to JTSpas reply.
Looking at other reviews there seems to be a trend here, of not acknowledging your failings.
Your colleagues have just sent me an updated (from the version I had with the unit) installation instructions which very clearly state "a 13A supply is required. This can be from the fuse board or from a suitable ring main. This should be wired to a fused spur." You told me by email today that you think it is good practice to switch appliances off when not in use and that the whirlpool bath will last longer if switched off. If that is important, and required for functioning of the bluetooth system, then it would be appropriate to tell customers in advance.
At the very least it would be polite to acknowledge this omission rather than simply blame me and my electrician for following your instructions.

Many thanks for your review, upon looking up your order details i can see that our customer services team have been trying to help you with your whirlpool bath and separate bluetooth audio speaker system.

I have spoken to the manufacturer of the whirlpool bath and also the suppliers of the Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth device is meant to be installed to the fused spur of the whirlpool bath in the bathroom as per the installation instructions. As both of the devices should then be powered off when not in use, this will help protect the lifespan and help protect against electrical surges. When power is then switched on the bluetooth device enters pairing mode and will connect to your device as usual as mentioned by our customer services team.

We would highly recommend you speak to your electrician as not following the installation instructions is highly dangerous . It is the electricians responsibility to complete the installation as per the manufacturers installation requirements.

Please Nick contact your electrician to complete the electrical installation with the IP56 fused Spur.

From start to finish a disgrace

From start to finish a disgrace. Weeks waiting for missing parts to be sent out and actual wrong doors and rails sent, terrible communication and left with a shower cabin that leaks water everywhere, builds up scum and detritus in impossible to clean seals that leak and don’t actually seal. Doors that fall off their runners, knobs that fall off, rust in the few actual parts that are metal and plastic parts that chip and split. Avoid this company and it’s products like the plague! Jt spas feel free to contact me to arrange a refund for this disgusting shower!

I was waiting for the excuses. Especially after seeing the responses to other customers.
I would like to correct you..
NO MODIFICATIONS WERE MADE.
After a damaged shower being sent, we then waited for a replacement. When the undamaged shower arrived we checked all the parts were there then had our old shower cabin removed and the building of the new shower commenced. Only when half way through did it become obvious that some of the parts were not for this cabin and did not fit (the full front rails too and bottom) After a series of photographs between yourselves and us you confirmed this and claimed you would have to look into it. What followed through weeks of us trying to resolve this was us left with half a shower that we had no choice but to use as the old one was taken away. If by modification you mean that we hung a plastic shower curtain across the whole front so as not to cause too much water damage to my house than yes we did that. We had to cancel family from staying with us over Christmas as we could not put them through our bathroom ordeal, all the while our new floor was becoming water damaged.
Eventually you admitted fault and said that a whole consignment of showers had been shipped from China (the capital of high quality showers) containing the wrong parts and you had received many complaints.
We waited weeks and weeks for replacements, you even claimed at one point that as it was Chinese New Year everything in China was closed. My family are Chinese if you want to debate this…Ludicrous. Also shows how long we waited for a resolution considering we ordered the shower in October. Eventually the correct parts that we had paid for and deservedly received (good will gesture my ar…!) What a piece of rubbish your top selling high quality item is. It has been fitted exactly as it should be, nothing is blocked, the wonderful system you describe throws water out everywhere if the sides get even the slightest direct spray. Black scum builds up behind the shower through the water reservoir and periodically pours into the shower. Hairs and scum get trapped in this wonderful flowing system you promotes front rails and I know exactly what cleaning agents to use and not use. My old shower cabin survived over 15yrs of use and cleaning and the only reason for change was a bathroom update. So thank you for my leaking, creaking shower that feels like it is going to fall over following your instructions not to fix it to a wall. Thank you for months of stress and this very very poor quality piece of rubbish. Like I say, a full refund or a high quality shower is warranted. Oh and my damaged floor needs replacing too.

Sorry to hear this, if you had reached our to ourselves we could offer further help on your installation from 2021.

Reviewing your review and emails you sent last year in i can see that the product had been modified and that a replacement was sent by the manufacturer as a gesture of goodwill last year. I also see that the manufcturer then collected the replacement as you confirmed that it was not required and a small refund as a gift to apologise for your installation issue last year.

The brand of shower you have is one of sold on a range of the leading bathroom retailers online. The Shower door rollers are quick release type and it sounds like your installer needs to adjust the screw on the bottom of the rollers to lift the door up correctly onto the rails. Just be careful with some bathroom cleaning products as not all are designed to be used on metal or chrome which will cause damage to these components. The same is on all shower doors from all Uk brands.

The shower received also has the Leak Free tray design, you may need to ask your installer to visit as they have accidently blocked the drainage channels on the shower tray causing your leaks or missed the installation of a seal.

Worst experience

Delayed Delivery,Difficult return and refund process. AVOID THEM

1. We ordered an 8mm shower enclosure with shower tray. As there was no delivery updates sent to us we decided to contact the Customer Service. It was only after we got in touch they checked the warehouse to see that the 8mm enclosure is out of stock. Why do you show the item in stock when it wasn't? We then agreed for a 6mm shower enclosure instead.

2. After multiple chasing up delivery was made and it was only a partial delivery. The shower tray was missing.

3. Again a series of chasing to get the tray delivered. All this while our builders had been put on hold causing us mental stress, loss of money and time.

4. Finally when the tray arrived it was not of good quality. The thickness of shower tray was not 40mm. And their website does not give thickness information when you order enclosure with tray as a combo. Poor item description on website.

5. For a £75 shower tray they are asking to pay £72 for their courier pickup to get a refund.it's a joke.

For all the delay,the stress and the loss of our time and money you should atleast have the courtsey to refund £75 without charging us £72 for the courier pickup.

It has been the most worst and horrendous experience.

Please do not buy from JTSpas.

Looking into your order with ourselves, i can see that the product ordered was listed as Out of Stock on the website, this may have been missed, we always strive to offer similar models of design for the same shaped, size and colour from our other brands available and in stock. The alternative products were slightly cheper than the model ordered with your refund for the difference refunded a few days later.

I see you wanted to return the goods which is available to all customers within our 14 days returns policy or 45 days exchange policy. You are able to return these to our warehouse yourself or arrange for a 3rd party courier to arrange the return for you, i see that we had requested ourselves to arrange a courier to collect and return the goods back to our warehouse. The cost due to the size and weight of glass items is expensive which you rejected due to the costs, however you are always welcome to return these to the depot yourself by alternative meant if more convenient.

The shower tray supplied my the manufacturer is indeed 40mm our warehouse manager checked existing stock and also the manufacturer website specification file. The manufacturer is the NO1 shower tray producer in the UK and factory in UK is also ISO 9001 accredited.

If we can be of any future help please do reach out.

Specialist bath, good service

Bought a specialist bath, made by Mantaleda in Yorkshire, and supplied by JT Spas. We did originally have some issues with the door (it's an accessible bath) but JT Spas helped us to get in contact with the manufacturer and they sent a fantastic man to our house to fix the problem. So although there was a small problem, the experience overall was good. Would recommend.

Please do not use this company. I purchased a spa bath through JTSpa as I was on a tight deadline and ordered a Lisna 1700 x 750 spa bath at the cost of £1,800. A considerable amount to money
To cut a long (6 week story) short
The spa jets could not be turned off and the spa bath could not be used.
JTSpa were not interested in resolving the problem and Lisna could not have cared less. (JTSpa and Lisna please feel free to reply to my comments)
I arranged a visit from two independent hot tub engineers. They were here for 1.5 hours and replaced a part and now the bath is working at a cost of £280. I am just relived it is sorted and I no longer have to attempt to get JTSpa or Lisna to take any notice

Thank you for your reply which unfortunately is not factually correct. My installers did not contact you. I contacted you regarding the jammed controls and the fact that the air jets could not be turned off and the bath had to be turned off at the fuse box. They did not admit to damaging the hose. I was there when it was being installed. You kindly sent me buttons free of charge to replace the buttons that were faulty that I had to pay for to have refitted.
You also sent a new tube as the one fitted was too short.
The numerous calls you refer to unfortunately was a call from the engineer and a couple of calls from your office. I then left messages on the engineers mobile and did not receive a response. I then contacted your office and spoke with your very pleasant assistants, who were always very polite and tried their best to help but to no avail.
The engineers who I employed to fix the bath . ‘The Hot Tub Guys’ inspected the bath and said it had been installed correctly and no damage had been caused. The problem was controls which were jammed (maybe damaged in transit), a tube from the blower which was too short and ultimately a faulty switch under the bath that they replaced as this was not allowing us to turn the bath off. This cost me £280. The video you refer to is the video we took demonstrating the bath when it was turned on.
It was not demonstrating any damaged caused byt the fitters as there wasn't any!
Unfortunately, the bath is now leaking underneath from one of the jets, so I will be having to call them back. I don't have the energy to attempt to have JTSpa's rectify the problem.
I would be very grateful if you could forward the recording of my installers calling you admitting that they damaged the bath on installation, as this is a complete mystery to us. The installers are still on site as they are fitting another bathroom (bath not purchased from JTSpa) and we are intrigued to say the least. You have my email address.

I can see that you reported to ourselves on Friday late afternoon that you had performed the tested requested by the 3rd party manufacturer and on the same evening we had contacted the manufacturer of that you required a replacement part, which was dispatched. On the following Monday morning you had confirmed you performed unauthorised modifications by your installers. I also note on your communication on Friday evening you apologies for the delay in replying to ourselves

I also note that both our offices and the manufacturer had attempted numerous times to make contact with you but were not able to get through to you at which point after you contacted ourselves you apologied that you were unable to receive our calls.

I reviewed the video of your water test video showing that the whirlpool bath was working correctly without any fault, which we also supplied to yourself.

We have reviewed telephone calls made to our offices by your installers shortly after the they started installation, and i see the they confirmed they themselves had caused some damage to the hose that connects the air pump blower to the control buttons at which point we issued replacement hoses and buttons as a gesture of goodwill to them. They had stated this was due to the tight space restrictions were the product was being installed, coupled with the water and power source, which was apparent on the imagery that was supplied

We are happy to confirm that should your installers fix fail in the future as a gesture of goodwill we will supply replacement parts to help you out over the coming months.

Frameless shower enclosure nightmare!!!!!!

I bought a frameless shower enclosure from JT Spas and although i was generally pleased with the product a part shipped with it was incorrect. Though I am a bathroom installer of some 20 years experience, the customer service team at JT Spas refused to accept that the part that was shipped with my enclosure was incorrect. The part concerned was a plastic molding which both retained the door drip threshold and also guided the sliding door at the bottom. The part they shipped caused the door to run at an angle and foul the door seal attached to the fixed panel. In spite of this part probably costing no more than a couple of pounds, JT Spas offer was to ship a completely new door assembly (at 25% discount!!!!!) at around £300!!! When challenged as to why they could not ship me just the part, they admitted that they did not stock parts for this enclosure and I would guess they do not stock spare parts for any of their products. I did eventually find a stainless steel door guide on eBay (£6) which did the job but it was not the solution I would have wished for. My advice if you do choose to purchase products from this company is be aware they are a small outfit who probably don't even touch many of the products they ship (coming directly from other suppliers/manufacturers) who have a lousy customer service organisation probably driven by the fact that they are too small to stock spare parts and provide an adequate technical support operation.

Ignore the fake reviews on their website , all 4/5 stars, really? Yet I was unable to submit my review.
Coincidence?

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, anywhere just not these cowboys, whom ignore your statutory rights, and think that the UK consumer rights act doesn’t apply to them.

Waited months for my new spa bath conversion. Each time I enquired about delivery I was told mine was “next to be done”….…….It wasn’t.

Eventually it arrived. Despite being a large and heavy corner bath, it was sent by a lone driver who dumped it outside my property.

The following day after arranging help to get the bath inside, I removed the packing, guess what ……….it was damaged.
Also nobody could be bothered to send the bath fitting instructions or manuals for the
Electronic controls.

I contacted JT Spas to report the damage.
JT Spas told me they will accept no responsibility whatsoever, and wouldn’t help in any way.
I was told I should have noted the damage at the point of delivery.
This is despite it being hidden under the packaging, which was still in place as the bath had yet to be moved inside.

I now face more time without a usable bathroom whilst the problem is resolved. Meanwhile I am £2.2k down and have a bath I can’t fit.

The sales people are good though. They certainly had me fooled.

I wish I’d read the previous spa bath reviews. It appears I have 50/50 chance whether or not it would have worked successfully.

The best test of a company is how they respond when things go wrong.

You have been warned.

Great price, quick delivery and outstanding customer services

Ordered an entire bathroom suite including a steam shower, I wasn’t expecting delivery before Christmas but all arrived within a week well packaged with outstanding communication from start to finish. I am very pleased with the quality of my order and the speed in which any queries were answered. Quality company, competitive price, I will without doubt use again for my next project. Highly recommend

Product DELAYS!! Flimsy quality...

I bought a LWW1 bath spa, spent nearly 1.9K on the whole thing and was looking forward to it being delivered. The initial delivery was on time which was great, but when we started to fit the thing,

1. it had a few rubber washers missing, decided to get them myself, 10 - 20 quid. Not sure why they don't provide a set of spare (ofcourse first provide the required ones) washers when you spend a couple of grand with them.
2. The panels were of incorrect size and would not fit. That put my schedule for house build back by a couple of weeks, builder availability etc. Not sure what to suggest here, one can only check the sizes of the panels when you start assembling the bath spa.
3. The lady was helpful and arranged a replacement after sending possibly 10 pictures of all the panels with measurements. That came in today morning and the chap turns up with almost nothing jut the corner pieces. Beggers belief even after sending the necessary pictures.

Disappointed to say the least, given my building schedule is now back by 3 - 4 weeks (so X'mas in the building site), its extra special when you are getting the construction done while living in it and want the damn thing to be over as soon as possible. Wonder if "Luxury at Affordable Price" is just them being sarcastic and really means incompetent service at a premium.

Just think before you invest, unless you dont have other options and factor in the delays.

Update - Turns out the builder did not understand the instructions initially. JTSpas on their part did not understand the problem well to resolve it. The bath spa is installed and works.

Uodate (March 2022) - Avoid it if you can. A month after the installation the bathroom started leaking due to flimst manufacturing. The warranty only covers parts, so though JTspas sent over a replacement to the leaking pipe, everytime there is a problem in addition to the charges to fix the issue (install the pipe in my case) itself, there is the cost of damage to floors and roofs (around £800 in my case) based on where you have it installed. I have now decided to get rid of the Spa which is £2k plus builders cibstallation cost down the drain. So do think really hard before you invest into this.
