Anna who looked after my case was particularly supportive and was always there at the end of the phone to explain things and to support when needed.
I don't know much about buying a house (first time buyer) and I needed everything explaining to me (sometimes twice). I was met with patience and understanding and felt fully supported throughout the whole process.
Most importantly I didn't receive any hidden costs. Everything was explained to me at the start with full costings.

We used this company to buy our first home! Craig was so hopefully breaking down every document for me and also sending everything on a email so I had it in writing. We are still working with them at the moment but I never will hesitate to use them again.

We recently bought our first home and used JP Goldman. Craig and Claire were brilliant. They kept us informed and were easy to contact. They were persistent in chasing the sellers solicitors to speed things along. Craig in particular was incredibly accommodating of my restricted schedule as a teacher, pushing for half term completion and calling before/ after school. I cannot reccomend JP Goldman enough. No hidden costs, and expert and friendly support. As first time buyers this was really reassuring, and we felt at ease knowing all of our questions were answered.

We cannot thank Craig Deacon and his team enough for helping us with our sale and purchase. Absolutely first class, exceptional service, if we could give Craig more than five stars we would, we would give enough stars to the moon and back we could. He acted with extreme professionalism. Craig always responded to all communication and I never had to chase, he dealt with everything at first request. Quite frankly we would not have completed without Craig and his persistence, the buyers solicitors were the worst ever encountered. I have recently moved house and my solicitor, Craig Deacon, worked really well on my behalf to ensure my move was completed on time. He was professional throughout and answered all my questions via email and telephone in a timely manner. He communicated well with estate agents and the other solicitors to make my move possible and I highly recommend him.

I'd describe overall experience as okayish.
In the end purchase ended successfully, but there were several problems along the way.

Main one - total lack of communication. I believe I'd never received any update on the state of the process on their initiative until the very last stages. Every time I had to call and ask. They have an app that supposedly should help you follow the process - mine is still showing the very the first stage "in progress", despite the completion has already been done. Why do they make you install it if they never update status in there - no idea. I've asked them several times to update it in the app - it's never been done.

There was also a weird delay for several weeks in the beginning of the process, when seller's solicitors were saying they sent draft contract, and JP Goldman said they didn't receive it. I'm not sure who to blame for that, but it wasn't resolved until I called them several times.

In total process of purchasing a flat with no chain from accepted offer to completion took a bit more than 3 months. Not the worst result, but definitely could have been better

A pleasure to deal with! Every phone call answered. Every email responded to promptly. Would certainly recommend using JP Goldman
