Highly recommend this service! We were very intrigued by the concept of booking a mystery trip. But, also a little trepidatious about quality. However, timely email replies to some logistics questions ahead of booking allayed any nervousness. We enjoyed receiving clues leading up to the trip and all the timed releases of packing info and weather expectations beforehand were helpful. We were very excited about all the planning and organizing for our flights, trains, outings and events being pre-planned as vetted experiences for our first big overseas adventure. Once on our way, the Journee “Passport” and guide books (tailored to our interests and vegetarian/vegan restaurant suggestions too) and itinerary documents were excellent resources—both physical and digital resources, which were doubly handy. Our lodgings were excellent (and the breakfast offerings—wow) and our travel tickets and day trip excursions were seamlessly organized and totally tailored to our traveller profile. Plus, we had plenty of unscheduled downtime between events, just as we’d wanted, to explore and wander on our own. Any questions we had on the fly along the way were dealt with by team members so effectively. We spent ten days in Munich, Germany, and Salzburg, Austria, with some day trips out to other nearby towns. What a trip! I’m really glad we did this. We’ll certainly try another trip with Journee in the future.

This experience is one of the best of my life!! Journee listened to my likes and dislikes and paired me with a vacation that was awesome!! Because of weather there was some hiccups getting out of the country but when Journee was contacted they rearranged things so I missed nothing! To say there was a “favorite” would be so difficult! I visited Porto
And Lisbon - taking a train to go from one to the other was a great experience! The Douve Valley will always be my learning of wine 🍷 experience! The knowledge they shared was so helpful and useful- laughter and great conversation with the tour guides ! So glad to have this experience!!

My daughter and I just returned from our Journee Trip to Porto Portugal. This was my second trip through Journee. We had a great experience, with everything planned and prepared for us to celebrate her 30th birthday in Port. From the original proposal through departure, flights, hotel and tours/activities, Journee took great care of us. The communication before and during the trip is fantastic and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to my third trip through Journee soon!

I have now taken two trips with Journee and already planning a third. I’ve tried other travel companies, but their customer service and care doesn’t come close to what I have experienced with Journee. The Journee team planned an amazing trip for me and experiences that I wouldn’t have tried on my own (but they were exactly what I needed). As a solo female traveler, it’s important for me that I feel safe while traveling. The Journee team is incredibly responsive to any messages sent, anticipate issues, and handle everything. It’s truly a fun and stress free way to travel. I can’t wait to schedule my next Journee adventure.

Fabulous trip again with Journee! Cannot fault the organisation and communication throughout the experience! This is our second trip and already considering a third! Most people we tell think it’s very brave to go on a surprise trip but each time we’ve been so lucky with our destination and excursions. Would highly recommend you taking a leap of faith and booking a trip with Journee!!

A great experience from start to finish, fill in a form, decide if you want to accept the holiday proposal and have everything planned for you with no knowledge of where you're going until you open the destination reveal postcard at the airport. You get 8 tantalising clues on the lead up to your travel date and a weather report and packing list. My holiday included interesting paid for trips and experiences and guides about other places to visit and recommended bars and restaurants. I thoroughly recommend taking a Journee holiday, it's not my first and won't be my last.

We just returned from a week-long trip to our first surprise destination. It was seamless, well coordinated, and we had all the information we needed. When one of our tour guide guides was unexpectedly injured, the Journée team jumped in and immediately rebooked an alternative, which was also amazing. We felt like it was the right blend of activity and free time and we got lucky with some amazing weather too! The accommodations were exceptional, and the digital document repository made it simple to navigate everything we needed. We would highly recommend and are already thinking about our next trip!

I cannot recommend Journee highly enough! I booked one of their surprise trips as a way to celebrate my birthday and from start to finish the entire experience was seamless, exciting and completely stress-free. They handled all of the planning and logistics and every detail was thoughtfully arranged.

One of my favorite parts of the experience was that the destinations they chose for me were not places I would have selected for myself. I love traveling and was excited to embrace the surprise and I'm so glad I did because I absolutely loved both countries. Journee gave me the opportunity to experience places I may never have considered visiting on my own and those destinations ended up becoming such special memories.

The accommodations were great, everything throughout the trip went smoothly and their communication was excellent. It was clear they put a lot of thought and care into creating an experience tailored to me.

We booked a surprise 4-day trip (including travel time) as an experiment, and Jounee got it spot on. We went to Budapest, a new destination for us, and we couldn’t have conceived a better itinerary ourselves! It went like clockwork from start to finish, the hotel was superb and we loved our activities: historic walking tour, Ruin bar tour, thermal pool/spa, and an evening cruise on the Danube. Perfect! Looking forward to trying another one.

I was nervous at first to use Journee but when they found me a location of my dreams, I decided to book. ImEven though I didn't know too many details until the day or week of, I had the best of time and enjoyed amazing food from all their great recommendations.

This teip was my second with journee but was my husbands first. We were sent to greece STUNNING! We went for our one year anniversary i barely had to lift a finger,any issues they were very attentive. This was so special and they really personalize ld the trip to our needs we look foreward to the next trip

This trip was incredible. Everything was so planned out and all I had to do was go and enjoy. Everyone I came in contact with was amazing. If I had a question about any part of the trip, Journee always got back to me with a quick response. The country was beautiful. Simply breathtaking. The tours were very informative. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. My trip was everything I hoped it would be and more. I can't wait to do this again next year! I just returned from my first Journee trip. It was amazing. I traveled to Prague and Vienna. I stayed in 2 perfect hotels with great locations and it was very quiet location. Journee arranged for 5 excursions for my week trip. The beer experience in Prague was great with visiting 3 breweries that I saw only locals. In Vienna, they arranged a food tour that I would have never booked on my own, it was so good. Again, I did not see many tourists, more locals and I experienced local cuisine. Journee was also very responsive to any of my questions prior to the trip.

Fantastic experience with Journee. Visited a place I would not have considered going to and loved it. Enjoyed somebody else making all the decisions instead of obsessing over planning every detail.

Loved my 2nd Journee as much as my 1st! We had a wonderful time in Slovenia. The hotels were fabulous, both had balconies with views of castles. The activities were great. Everthing was well-planned and well-organized. Flights were good, with enough time allowed during layovers to get through passport control and get to the gate for our next flight. We will definitely be traveling with Journee again!

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to return to international travel (it had been a LONG time). I didn't care where I went. I just wanted to go. And I didn't have time or inclination to plan anything.

Journee's questionnaire was easy to complete and when I went on my trip, I could tell how everything I had said I was looking for was incorporated into my trip!

My accommodations were top notch and my excursions were FANTASTIC! I can't stop raving about my trip!!

There was a perfect balance of structured and unstructured time, letting me explore on my own as well. For those moments, I leaned on recommendations that Journee provided me as well as recommendations from the staff at my accommodations and the guides for my excursions.

Took away all the mental load of booking a holiday. I've been on three trips with this company now and all of them have been amazing. Booking is easy and the experiences are always tailored to the things you say you enjoy doing.

Wow, what a FAB TRIP!! I was so excited to go on my first secret holiday and this did not disappoint. With 2 hours to the flight, I found out it was Tirana in Albania. A country that has never been on my radar but now, I would happily go back!

Journee sorted everything and all aspects went smoothly. Pre checked in so once we knew the destination, we breezed through T5 security. At the Tirana side, we found our airport transfer in seconds and were whisked off to our wonderful hotel which was so central to all the city had to offer.

Each days activity was booked for us so all we had to do was turn up and enjoy what Journee had planned. Every single day surprised us in the most amazing way.

The only thing I had to do was sort currency (once I knew where I was going!) and get an eSim. Everything else was done. One of the easiest and most fun holidays I have had. I am certainly coming back to Journee soon, thanks Team!!!! xxx

Brilliant company.. from the first moment they suggested a secret holiday, to the communication before and the secret flies, to the fantastic guide book, the quality of trips planned, and the overall experience, it was amazing.. I enjoyed it so much that I asked for another holiday the next day and have already started the process again..
