Our surprise trip with Journee took us to the beautiful cities of Bologna and Florence, Italy! 🇮🇹✨ It was an unforgettable experience filled with fun, adventure, and so many amazing things I never would have thought to try on my own. Every outing brought something new and special, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was truly a wonderful adventure, and I would absolutely do it all over again! ❤️

A surprise trip was SO fun for my college bestie and I. We celebrated 60 years around the sun and 40 years of friendship. We waited until we arrived at the airport for the reveal. And we had not even heard of the towns/cities we were going to!! We LOVED Slovenia!! It was magical. Journee had the perfect balance of planned activities and free time and really honored the desires we outlined when filling out the initial form. We had lots of time in the great outdoors, and charming towns and great wine to explore. It was such a treat to not have to plan anything. We are both over planners and always feel the need to check for something better or to not miss anything. With Journee, we just sat back and enjoyed the trip. Truly.

One of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Journee planned us a surprise trip to Puglia in Italy. They really took our preferences into account and included a few personal touches that made our trip really special. Everything was thoughtfully planned - a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration! We’re lucky to have been sent to such a beautiful part of the world that we had never considered visiting before. We will definitely be booking another trip with Journee!

Journee is an exciting travelling adventure that is a perfect option for those who enjoy adventure and are able to leave it up to the professionals to curate a trip for you based on a survey that asks you questions about your travel interests. The advisors were quick and prompt to respond to any question I had within a day, and the excursions they provided on my trip were excellent with respect to the pace I was looking for as well as the type of adventure I wanted on my travels. I will 150% be using them again as the whole thing was thrilling and fun to talk about with my friends and family to figure out where I was headed based on the hints they sent to me leading up to the departure date of my trip! I loved how everything was planned, my airfare, hotels, excursions, and country to country travel were all included in the package, and I had some free time on my trip to do what I wanted to do as well so there was variety for me which was important. Such a highly recommended trip to do for anyone wanting to travel!!

I had an incredible 4 days in Seville thanks to Journee! I loved the mix of scheduled activities and flexible free time, so I got to explore while still having some structure.

Trying to guess where I was going was honestly half the fun - the hints were clever without making it too easy, and it became a running talking point in my office for months! The handwritten postcard was such a lovely personal touch, too. Having access to the Journee team 24/7 via WhatsApp was a huge relief and meant I never felt unsafe or unsure.

The hotel was right in the middle of everything, so I barely needed to use public transport apart from getting to and from the airport. That was a huge relief and a nice money saver. The early flight on the first day and late flight on the last day also meant I could make the most of my time in Seville without feeling rushed.

The payment plan was another big plus for me. It was really flexible and accessible, and made booking the trip feel much more manageable.

I chose Journee because I get terrible choice paralysis and want to visit everywhere, so letting someone else pick the destination was perfect for me. If you're not too picky and fancy being a little adventurous, I couldn't recommend it more. Already excited for my next trip :)

From the initial inquiry to our flight landing back in Birmingham, everything ran like clockwork. The organization was top-notch—efficient, prompt, yet wonderfully friendly and relaxed. Communication with the Journee team leading up to the trip was seamless and reassuring.

I AM JOURNEE'S BIGGEST FAN!

I have done two trips with Journee now (within a 10 month period!), and they have been the best trips I've ever taken in my life. And that's coming from someone who looooves to travel. I try to travel internationally at least yearly, often more than that. But booking through Journee made everything so seamless and easy. Plus, having them plan everything as a surprise was so fun!

Journee does incredible work. I really appreciate how they strive to pair with locally-run small businesses as much as possible for the excursions they book. Every excursion we took was with a small group, and every tour guide has been exceptional.

If you're thinking about booking with Journee, JUST DO IT. I can't wait for my third trip with Journee. Gotta book it ASAP!!

Absolutely perfect. The organisation, the app that reminded us gently to pay in instalments, the responsive and immediate support via WhatsApp - that's all splendid but of course the real gem was the mystery holiday itself. We ended up in Prague - accommodation was spectacular, our three experiences were perfect for us, and we loved every minute. Am already looking at dates for my next Journee break.

Completed the questionnaire with a friend separately and got 2 proposals. We went with the one that we wouldn't normally have chosen. It was adventure filled with lots of physical activities (we are usually the laid back Caribbean type). I could not have curated a better itinerary, we were busy but not overwhelmed. Everything was walkable from our hotel, and transportation was thought of for the entire trip.

We ended up in Ireland, seeing things from an insider's perspective vs the typical tourist experience (got back about 5 days ago). Ollie's Tours did a 5 mile hike with us up the Cliffs of Moher, and that was the highlight of the trip. All the activities were interesting and fun.

I would book with Journee again in a heartbeat. They made sure that we got exactly what we wanted. We had to ask a few questions beforehand using WhatsApp. Since they are based in London and we are in the US, they got back to us the following day. Clearly they were there to help and answer any and all questions if needed.

If you are thinking about it, do it. It was the trip of a lifetime and I treasure the experience.

I gave them a 1 star because I have not received my Journee Pack that was sent on Thursday 3 September 2026 and should arrive in 1-2 weeks to your address. My departure is 1 week away. Has anyone in the US also have this problem not receiving their Journee Pack?

This was one of the most amazing experiences! I cannot wait to go on my next trip with Journee. The element of surprise mixed with the fact that I can sit back and not worry about any planning was the most perfect combination I could have ever asked for!

Journee takes ALL the stress out of planning a trip. As a solo traveler, they really took my safety concerns just as seriously into consideration as my interests when creating my itinerary. I didn’t worry once about navigating a foreign city on my own or what to do, see, and EAT! And that it all came in under my budget was even better. I’m ready for another - and I just got home yesterday!

I had the most incredible trip with Journee, and would recommend the experience to anyone. Getting the clues was very fun, and even though I did correctly guess my destination, I had a fabulous time. There was a good mix between free time and booked experiences. All bookings went super smoothly, and I stayed at some places that I would never have even looked at by myself but turned out to be just fabulous. I only had to contact Journee once prior to my trip as I was worried my pack might not arrive in time, but they replied within minutes, and my pack arrived very soon after. Cannot fault my trip and this company one bit.

Journee certainly know what people want when it comes to surprise trips. By filling out a simple questionnaire of your preferences, they came up with a trip itinerary that blew us away. If you love travelling and can't decide on destination like us, give Journee a go and I promise you will not be disappointed. The fact that its a surprise right to the end made it the most exciting holiday we have ever been on and it certainly got all our friends and family excited to see what its all about.

Mystery tour a HIT! Journee sent me on a tour to Ireland! The plane tickets were booked along with hotels, excursions, and ground transportation. All I had to do was show up at the airport and reveal my destination!!! I had the best time and am recommending this style of travel to all my friends!! Just take the leap!

My trip to Romina was great! I went on a solo trip and felt safe throughout my entire trip. The tours and guides were great. I learned so much while traveling through the countryside from one destination to the next, all arranged by Journee. It was one of the best trips I have made. Thank you Journee for making this so easy.

Rubbish web site. Tried to log back on, made me specify a whole new trip, very annoying. I just wanted to see how my previous enquiry was progressing. Love the concept, buy let down by the user experience.

If you're thinking about booking a mystery trip with Journee, just do it!
We booked a mystery honeymoon and didn't know where we were going until the day we flew, which made the whole experience even more exciting. Journee absolutely nailed it and sent us to the beautiful region of Alsace, somewhere we probably wouldn't have chosen ourselves but ended up completely falling in love with.
Everything felt so thoughtfully put together. The hotels were fantastic, the train journeys were an experience in themselves, and the recommendations for food and drink were spot on. We also loved all the cultural highlights they suggested and the guided tour, which was incredibly insightful. As two people who love history, it was right up our street.
The scenery was breathtaking, from the vineyards and picturesque towns to the incredible views throughout the trip. One of our absolute highlights was floating down the river with a Wickelfisch. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience, and something we'll be talking about for years to come!
The mystery element made our honeymoon feel like a real adventure, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating an itinerary that suited us perfectly.
The only tiny piece of feedback we'd give is to double-check public holidays when recommending landmarks and attractions, as we found a couple that were closed when we visited... although it did give us an excuse to find more wine and pastries, so not exactly the end of the world! 😂
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for us. We made some incredible memories, discovered a region we now adore, and enjoyed every moment of the adventure.
We'll absolutely be booking with Journee again. ❤️✈️🍷🍇

Our trip to Romania exceeded all my expectations!! Everything was well-organized, and on days we had tours planned, the guides contacted us the day before to confirm pickup locations and give advice on what we needed to bring, if anything!!
Flights and transfers were easy to manage as well!!
Will definitely do this again!! Highly recommended!

Taking the leap to book my adventure with Journee was a leap of faith that came through at the right time. The matching process for my destination was quick, and I didn't want to miss out on such a great opportunity.

I love having the ability to either pay in full or make installment payments, which made this trip feasible.

Transportation:
The Journee team provided clear directions and steps for commuting from the airport to the hotel with a carry-on. Train tickets were pre-booked for excursions, which made the trip hassle-free.

Accommodation:
Journee selected hotels that were convenient to the train station, various stores, and restaurants. The staff at both facilities were friendly and able to assist appropriately. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Food:
The choices that Journee provided were amazing. Food choices were fantastic.

Excursions:
were very informative and educational. The tours Journee planned with different groups were appropriate and well-suited to the type of vacation I was seeking. The tour guides were friendly and very informative.

Overall, this was a great trip, and I'm looking forward to another trip
