The International Society of Female Professionals helps women to overcome traditional barriers to successful careers. The society was newly minted in August 2019 in New York City with the mission of being the nation’s premier advocate for professional women of all walks of life and in virtually any professional field of endeavor. Despite women being about equal in number to males worldwide, there are far fewer in the professional world. There are fewer women doctors, lawyers, and other professional fields. There are fewer women executives and business owners despite many examples of prior success. Women have proven they are equally capable of excelling and leading in professional fields, executive roles, and entrepreneurship. Yet, our opportunities remain far fewer than those of our male counterparts. We aim to change that. The International Society for Female Professionals is a global advocate for professional women and actively promotes female advancement at the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial levels. We create a beneficial network that helps to encourage additional investment in the many excellent skills and leadership abilities that women possess but often go overlooked. Our sole purpose is to tear down the commonly encountered barriers that professional women face. Those barriers include lower pay, the proverbial glass ceiling, and fewer opportunities for advancement than our male counterparts. Instead of accepting invisible barriers to success, we work to remove those obstacles and forge new inroads for success. The International Society for Female Professionals creates a community of skilled and talented professional women who have widely varied career goals but share virtually the same obstacles toward success. We are growing our global network of exceptionally experienced, talented, and accomplished women to help support one another while we continue to grow at the national and international levels. Our membership includes licensed professionals, entrepreneurs, and business executives who recognize and have overcome the many challenges women face in a male-dominant professional world. We help women to make new connections and forge new inroads into professions and business opportunities for women. The society always accepts new members while expanding our scope and reaching the global level. We are active locally, nationally, and regionally in helping encourage women to become professionals, find new enterprises, and provide guidance at the executive level. Membership never is passive. We only accept women who are prepared to participate and be global and local ambassadors of female excellence while setting exemplary examples of professionalism and performance for others to follow. The International Society of Female Professionals is one of the newest women’s advocacy groups and immediately faced the challenge of a global pandemic shortly after its founding. Our leaders and members persevered and enabled the society to emerge as a strong force poised to help professional women, entrepreneurs, and executives. We strive to ensure future generations of women leaders enjoy more freedom and greater opportunities for success in the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial world. You can learn more about our advocacy by visiting our website at www.theisfp.com. We also maintain a social media presence on Twitter and Facebook. The society’s efforts go beyond the professional realm. We also help women to better succeed in their personal lives. We help provide you with the tools necessary for success, including the challenges encountered when obtaining an education, professional licensing, and founding new business entities. The International Society of Female Professionals helps to empower women to become strong leaders and advocates who make significant differences in their respective fields of endeavor. We are a global organization based in New York City and are accepting new members. Membership in the society is not a passive task. Instead, we expect our members to proactively promote women’s issues in the professional realm and become true advocates for their fellow female professionals. Women are marginalized in societies worldwide, and we intend to change that as much as possible. You can learn more about the International Society of Female Professionals and how it might help you by calling (718) 440-9304. We are located in New York City at 77 Water St., 8th Floor, 10005. Our mission has just begun and never will stop, and we invite you to become a part of our vital mission on behalf of professional women around the globe. You can contact us to learn more about our membership requirements and our mission to promote women’s excellence and leadership at virtually all levels. If you are in New York City, you can stop by our global headquarters and get a firsthand look at all that we do. We employ about 60 people who help fulfill our mission and expand our vision for more significant opportunities and participation among women with the unique talents and skills needed to ensure success.

I also fell for this today

I also fell for this today. I have already sent them a cancellation e-mail and contacted Visa, but they cannot do anything about the initial charge of $199 (€171). If they keep charging me, then Visa will start a process. The lady told me it is a one-off payment. I cannot believe how savvy they are and that I fell for it!!. One person posted a review on here saying she was refunded immediately (screen name: kl). I think her post is fake! I also saw her post, exactly the same one, on sitejabber, and there her screen name is kb. I tried to access the Better Business Bureau site in the US, but it doesn't work.

I had the same story today as all the ladies in the reviews before me. Also I had doubts and I asked them to call me back tomorrow so I could check if they are a real company or not. I was asked for $599, glad my creditcard didn’t work!! How can we stop this company?

I saw this advertised on LinkedIn and applied. I went through the same process as others with a telephone review and qualified for membership, only I was asked for $599 for Lifetime membership. Having also been in Sales for many years I recognised the pressure tactics, declined and ended the call. ALL WOMEN need to be aware of this dishonest practice and report the matter to whichever platform you saw it advertised.

A FULL-BLOWN SCAM

A full-blown scam
They ask for immediate payment for a membership after a telephone interview in which the boredom of hearing my responses was clearly noted. I felt pressured and abused. Who do you speak to to report this "association"? This MUST be stopped

I actually got hired here...ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY SCAM PEOPLE

I actually got hired here, and didn't make it through the training because I found out they pay people to scam business owners, and started exposing them.

Here's how the training went: Everything was done over zoom, email, and phone. we were sent an email of what we needed to download so the "company" could connect to our computers, only to install the software we need to do the calls. we were also sent out a script (what exactly we need to say, ask questions about the person, then finally the sales pitch) and if the person said not interested or had an excuse or question, we were to study a list which included how to respond to those things. Basically to cover their asses. Finally, if someone did go through with it, we were to take all of their credit card information, only over the phone. If you said "ill call you back" you were pushed to make a decision right then and there. If you said "Can I pay through email, your website, etc", we were to tell you that no, you can't because over the phone is the "safest and securest way we can do the transaction" And IF we got the card info, we were to send it to another "employee" over SKYPE. YES, SKYPE. to do the "transaction". I finally got to the point to do some research on them because this all sounds sketchy. And sure enough, thousands of people had money stolen from them, and couldn't get in contact to get their money back unless they disputed it through their credit card holder. The saddest part was, I was never told that my job was to scam people. I honestly believed they had products and my role was to try and sell them. And even worse, we were to give out our names on the calls, so not only did I not know I was about to be scamming people, but I could have ended up in jail!

I don't care, HOW BROKE I AM. I WILL NOT BE APART OF THAT.
So I started posting reviews, NOT EVEN A MINUTE LATER OF EXPOSING THEM, I got a message from my "employer" saying they are terminating my employment, almost as if they were watching what I was doing on my computer.

If someone does get hired here, just be aware of what you are actually doing to innocent people. What if the tables were turned? You bust your ass to make ends meet, and you fall for some "company" that tells you blablabla, just to have the only money you have STOLEN.

SCAM ALERT

If I could give zero stars, I would because it is a complete scam. I reluctantly agreed to a "reduced" lifetime membership rate after explaining to the rep that I needed time to review and make a decision. I ended up paying $199 for the lifetime membership which actually included NOTHING. They sent me a certificate of membership which contains a typo and when I attempted to get a hold of someone via email and phone, I never had any luck. I have since called and emailed for a refund within the 15 days they claim you have to collect and again, can't get a hold of a person to process my request. I have tried using the networking connections buttons on the website as well as the chat function and nothing works.
CAUTION...THIS IS A SCAM!

“I received my refund right away!”

When I spoke to them I was feeling weird about providing my credit card information over the phone, but I was completely mindful that I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and try their service even though it felt weird. Afterwards, I went online read a few more reviews about them, and you can imagine I went "inside crazy", and questioning myself why I did not do research first. With all these nice reviews, now I want to look for a refund. So, I read a review from one of their previous employees and as she wrote "the managers are trying to change the reviews" this gave me hope that now their practices should have improved. At this point I am testing my feet in the water, not entirely sure if they are scammy or poorly managed, and I thought "let's see how they react about giving me a refund".
During the first call the lady that asked for my card details was nice and gave me her phone number, although when I tried calling back it did not rang (pulling my hair here) maybe i wrote it wrong, maybe it was given wrong? (Scam!). I wanted a refund, so I called their other number that had been saved in my call history, they answered (wheww... not a scam?) and spoke with another nice lady who understood my situation when explained. no more questions asked. She put me on hold to talk to finance department, and I was going crazy "omg, they are going to leave me here waiting" (scam!) but no, after a couple minutes I was speaking with the lady again (wheewww) and said she had talked with finance and they will issue a refund that I was going to see within 24h. Okay? Grieving period time (scam! Scammy!), but about 15 minutes later I received an email letting me know about my refund and when check in my card statement just now I saw the refund reflected (all within 15 minutes of fast customer service). (Yayyy no scammy at all... inner bubble party)
I would say they are going the right way about making their company a bit more trustworthy, one review and one step at a time. For now, this is my brief experience with them and not bad at all.
But for now, I will change my card because I don't know if according to other reviewers I will start getting charged in my card or if they have improved and solved the problem.
Nevertheless, someday I hope to be in a position to spend that money without knowing if it will be back and be okay with it (in a prepaid credit card). To see and test their service and be able to give them another hopefully good review. Because I believe that the intention of such organization is not bad at all, and helping connect us is overall a good purpose

Big time Scam

Big time Scam
I got a call on Monday telling me that my application was processed and they need to ask me some questions. I came across their link on Instagram. The young lady was so professional. She gave me a number to contact her and said she would be the one dealing with my profile. She asked me a few questions like on an interview then told me amazing you are accepted for the membership but I have to pay $99 for 5 years or $199. For a lifetime. Usually I would ask so many questions but i was so excited because i just became a business owner and that type of traffic would really help me to build my brand. She asked for my card information which i gave her. Luckily for me that card I only put money on it when I need to handle personal transactions so it did not really have money on it. I had to send an email to the bank so they can get me another card. People please do not fall for this scam. These scammers are playing on the vulnerability of women and taking they hard earned money. Never give out any card information over the phone. And put it out there for other people not to become victims of this. I was very disappointed in myself I could not even tell my fiance about this.

ISFP Scam! Don't get sucked in by woman's American accent

ISFP Scam

I filled out my details through LinkedIn in Dec 2020 and I received a phonecall from a woman in New York the next day, who sounded professional and after a set of questions about my career, she asked for a payment for $99 for 5-year membership and that I would receive various items in a welcome package. I am normally hesitant to give my card details over the phone but was conned because of her sounding professsional. After a month passed, I recieved no welcome package and queried it, which is when they shared some login details. A week later, in early February, I noticed a pending payment for $40 from them on my credit card which I had not authorised and asked my Bank to put a block on all payments to them and I wrote to them. They apologised and gave some excuse about it being a monthly profile maintenance fee; which was odd as the first woman I spoke to had claimed that all costs would be covered by the $99. After a week or so, I then received a call from a different woman describing the profile they were creating for me that would reach millions (!) on search engines and that the fee for that was $199 and she asked if the card ending XXXX was mine and if she could take payment. Knowing that I'd blocked all payments, I tried to see what she would come back with and within 10mins she had called back to notify me that the payment did not go through. This is when I realised that this was a scam, given how pressing they are to have you agree to payment over the phone. This is clearly a sophisticated scam going through LinkedIn and targeting women the way that they are. Don't be fooled by the professional sounding woman/women that telephone to discuss how they can propel your career by joining their society.

Nothing on their website

Nothing on their website, it’s a simple gated landing page. And they call you in the middle of a working day while you as a professional woman are working hard. They disturb your focus instead of sending an email that you can read when you actually have time. This is clearly a scam.

I fell for this scam of a company…

I fell for this scam of a company sadly. I ended up paying $199 for lifetime membership. Eric, the rep on the phone sounded extremely illiterate and I fell for his "acceptance to the group." I noticed after the $199 that there was a recurring $39.99 fee that I did not authorize. I called the numbers listed and emailed but no response, surprise surprise. I should have listened to my gut and not joined, but I thought they were verified on linked in. I am now working on getting the charges reversed. Don't join them!

Recieved a call from "Joe Getty"

Recieved a call from "Joe Getty", similar to all the reported expriences on here, after i submitted some of my details when i saw an advert on linkedin. The guy called me within a day after submitting the details and appeared very professional to begin with. He asked me a few interview questions and then congratulated me that i have been accepted to the network and proceeded to explain what will be done for me (website and presence etc). Once done, he asked me to pay a membership fee for lifetime USD 598! As I work in compliance I then said that I would like to review their website and do my due diligence before signing up to anything. To which he got suddenly very nervous and started wrapping up the call rapidly. I started to ask him for numbers and statistics. Be mindful that they ask all these questions to use them later as selling points against you! NEVER, i repeat, NEVER make a payment via phone or give away your credit card details. It is highly suspicious if a company that charges nearly 600 quid doesn't even have a proper impressum on their website or any contact is only behind a walled contact form or generic phone number. No information about who is runnign the website or who is owning the company. It's a shame as i really got excited about joining a female network of professionals.

Do not fall for it to pay memberahip

Do not fall for it to pay memberahip. I also think it was a scam. The girl on the phone asked me some questions regarding my profession and future plans without really listening. Even asked one of the questions 2 times and when I told her I already answered she kept on talking about how the application procedure worka. Felt like talking to a robot. Then insisting to pay membership over the phone which was suspicious. So no thanks !

Interesting. I have always been in sales. When the young lady finished her pitch, I graded her. "So, here is what you did right and here is what you did wrong and thus did not win me over..."
Looking at their site, there are no benefits.

I am still not sure about scam

I am still not sure about scam. Yes, due to covid time I was desperately in need of professional communication. This organization was advertised on FB and I decided to apply. To make the long story short, all what described in other reviews happened to me too, including the credit card charge over the phone. I gave it, because the girl who was talking to me was very sweet and I didn't feel any fraud, except I was in a big hesitation about not being able to pay online. I started googling about this organization, after I paid (yes, clever I :)) and found tons of complaints and scam references. I immediately requested the payment back and called my bank with the request of a new credit card. I received the email from isfp support in an hour or so: "We have processed the cancellation of your Lifetime Membership. You will not be billed the $199.00 USD fee" etc. So, because of they responded almost immediately, I can't say anything about scam.
