In 2022 our credit card was automatically charged for yearly fee even though we cancelled the subscription in advance. We were told our card would be ex-sponged from the system and evenly a refund was issued. Then again in May of 2023 our card was charged, we requested a refund, only to find out they charged us again with no refund. Promise of card being ex-sponged. We are following up constantly but still waiting for the refund for the two fraudulent charges since June of 2023. The process is time consuming for my team. I would not recommend the company.

I just received an international call from +3197010267838. The lady claimed to be verifying my information but proceeded to ask me a few questions about my profession and 'approved' my membership into the ISFP. I suspected something was not adding up when she offered me a 5 years or lifetime membership and asked for a credit card payment immediately. I asked for the information about the Society to be emailed to me but she rather give me the website over the phone. I wondered why I couldn't get an official email if the company was legitimate then she offered me a discount on my membership if I took it right away. I told her that I will think about it and she may call me back tomorrow only to look it up and find the Trustpilot reviews that this is another ongoing scam. Please do your research before giving your bank details to any company over the phone!

BEWARE, they're still scam-calling. I had a call from a genuine sounding person this evening. Very convincing. I didn't remember applying to join them, but it's the kind of thing I would do so she nearly got me. Netherlands country code then a mobile number. She 'approved' my membership on the call. I did not pay on the call (she went over two memberships) but asked her to send an email. Scary thing is that she read part of my email to me. So maybe these are spearfishers. After that she hung up quickly. Ignore these low lifes.

They keep charging me with ridicolous amount of money which changes every time, and every time it's always more than the previous one.
Last attempt, which was thankfully blocked by my bank, was for almost 500$. and this is, of course, after I left "the society" years ago and I wrote each time they charged me money, furious emails. They replied the first couple of times saying that they had deleted all my credit card details...clearly it ain't so!
They should be publicly shamed and prosecuted. Honestly,,.
Never ever join this thing, it has never been useful for networking, or even exposure.
They once tried to write my profile for the website and some sort of "pr" blurb which they literally had to build from my resume, and they weren't even able to do that,I had to correct basic, fundamental mistakes.
I don't even know if they provide any service anymore. but at the time, which was well over 6/7 years ago, they tried to put up a front at least.
Nowadays they have no website anymore (claiming beautiful incredible new things are coming, of course) and no one answers when you try and call their (fake?) customer - center number.
Hope something can be done.
But please, stay away from this thing!

These charlatans have got my bank account details somehow (apparently I signed up but I have no recollection of this...) and they have repeatedly tried to take money varying between £20 and £470 out of my bank account throughout this year. I contacted them and they said they would stop, it has continued and they no longer reply to me. I am on the verge of closing my bank account because of them. This is distressing and must be criminal.

This is a scam!!! Credit alerts notify me constantly that they continue to try to charge me over and over again. These type of business really need to be prosecuted. This really gives professional women associations a bad reputation.

THIS IS A SCAM. In just over two months they have taken more than USD 1000 from my visa card. It was done in four small payments and 2 bigger amounts.
They have one phone number and no one answers the phone. A machine tells you to send an email. Email has an automatic respond. They answer with a general reply finally, just ignoring that they took all this money from my VISA card.

I just got called from the society! An english lady named ‘Elizabeth’, she was very polite on phone but I became curious when she 'approved' me to be a member right away.
So I quickly went to my computer to look up this group and saw all these 1 star reviews! Before ending the call she wanted me to buy a 'membership' for marketing of myself.
She then asked which offer I would like to buy, I said thank you but I always do my due diligence, so please send me an email with the information and I will decide later.
She hung up very quickly.

For multiple consecutive days in June of 2022, my phone was flooded w/ unfamiliar NYC calls. I broke down and answered during an unusual no-show hour, doing paperwork (I'm a telehealth therapist) - I was intending to answer only to implore them to STOP CALLING ME.

Imagine my surprise - a friendly, engaging, polished-sounded woman on the other end advised that per my LinkedIn profile, I'd been selected to participate in an interview process for the, "International Society of Professional Women (Enter stellar-sounding mission statement of phony organization here). "Do you have about 20 or 30 minutes to talk?" I let my curiosity get the best of me. Nail in coffin # 1!

The caller proceeds to pull off an Academy Award performance "interview". I actually believed she cared about what I had to say; I actually put EFFORT and THOUGHT into my responses! Unbelievably, I felt I'd accomplished something when she told me that, "From what you shared with me today, you sound like you'd make a great fit for the ISFP, which will help you further cultivate your professional growth and open up a world of resources and networking opportunities. For a lifetime membership fee of $499, you'll receive *insert overwhelming litany of BS bennies I never received here*. I expressed reluctance. Her response was to keep reducing the "lifetime membership" price. I asked for an invoice to be emailed to me so I could pay online. My time was running short at this point. "We only accept payments over the phone." (Enter persistent caller rebuttals to, "I have to go", "I'm running out of time", "It seems odd you don't process payments electronically, it's 2022", "I'd actually like to discuss this with my husband").

In a fog of time-crunch anxiety, I exercised extreme stupidity - I gave my CC info to the caller, promising myself to take advantage of the 15-day cancelation policy if buyer's remorse set in.

I received an expeditious welcome email, but waited on snail-mail "membership materials" promised to me. And waited. Nothing arrived - ever. I was within the 15-day window. Time to cancel!

The ISFP phone number I was provided was manned by VM only, which dictated an email for communication, including with "billing concerns". I received an affirmative email response to my brief but assertive request to cancel my membership. When 72 hours passed without a refund, my CC company stepped in - no harm, no foul. I had all of my money back.

BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE: AFTER I WAS REFUNDED, I FORGOT ABOUT ISFP, LET DOWN MY GUARD, AND THOUGHT IT ALL WAS SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED, DONE.

Late Autumn 2022: I received a text message from my CC company. "Professional Women's Society" was attempting to hose my account for $ 599.99, which naturally, I declined. A brief online search told me that the "Professional Women's Society" had the same contact info as "The ISFP". This brought me down an internet rabbit hole to discover the depth of just how insidious and fraudulent an organization the ISFP is.

Related note: NEVER go more than a month without reviewing your CC statements, which the fraudulent $ 599.99 charge prompted me to do - a little too late. I alarmingly discovered that I had been charged over $ 1.8 K via multiple unauthorized transactions over a time span of 5 months from this awful, exploitative organization - dollar amounts which ultimately hid in plain sight amid other higher-dollar home improvement purchases I'd made legitimately during this same time period (thus, my higher than usual statements didn't raise any eyebrows). Good news: my CC company help me get back about $ 1K of the total loss . Bad news: $ 800 of the charges were not refundable since they fell out of the 120 day window CC's allow for disputes. It sickens me that the ISFP still has large chunk of my hard-earned funds.

ICING ON THE CAKE: Thanks to my CC company and my now-diligent statement checks , I have been refunded 2x additional $ 49.00 charges which were placed in the month of November - MONTHS after thinking I'd never hear anything from ISFP again. For good measure, I contacted ISFP via email to inquire, nastily stating my membership should have been canceled in 2022, and they wrote me back, stating I'd been refunded for both charges - "for monthly membership and profile maintenance fees", and promised, "Furthermore, your billing details have been expunged from the system to ensure there are no further charges."

YEAH, RIGHT. I will be monitoring my statements like a HAWK!

Hoping at some point, this organization will be shuttered....

TOTAL SCAM. Last year after agreeing to pay for "lifetime" membership, I was charged over $350 for "media subscription". They eventually refunded however negated to follow my request to cancel my subscription. Surprise .... surprise, I was just billed again. RUN if they ever contact you with their false claims of building female network.

TOTAL SCAM. I joined the IFPI in 2020 and soon realised it was a scam when they started taking many hundreds out of bank account for receiving no service at all other than a flashy website. I stopped the payments but they never refunded me the monies they promised. Anyway I thought that was the end of it until July this year.... 'Www.womensNet' have been taking £70ish out of my account every month. Despite repeated calls to my bank these payments and my card being stopped the payments keep coming out and I am convinced it is the IFPI. I'm now in a formal complaints process with my bank and may have to close my account to stop these payments. I wonder how many women out there this is happening to?!

Shocking scam - do not sign up. Take our money for years despite all our efforts to get them to stop.

Very bad experience. I originally signed up in 2020 but changed my mind after reading the reviews. Got a refund and thought all is over. Well since July this year, 3 years later I am being charged a monthly membership fee. How dodgy is it to keep creditcard details on file for so long with no authorisation. Now I have the hazzle of getting the money back and a new card
This is so unprofessional and illegal.

Wish I could give it a zero. They called with a flattering invitation, so I joined with a one time $499 lifetime membership. Months later, each month my card was charged with varying amounts in the $400 range coming from two different professional women’s organizations that don’t have working phone numbers or email addresses. I’m over $2000 in the hole and had to cancel my card because I, nor the bank, could pinpoint the originator if the charges. After doing more research I came across reviews like these here and through BBB with similar claims for the same dollar amounts. Be warned. This organization has no benefit and steals your money.

SCAM...the accent sounded so fake and at the end trying to charge me to join an association. Yeh...no thanks

I was approached about becoming a member of this "prestigious" organization. They went through a "vetting" process and I was accepted. I was charged an initial $299 for membership. Them a month later, I was charged (without my permission) another $499 for "marketing". I have tried to get a refund and was told (in August) that it was "processing". They stated it would take 15-18 business days. As of today, nearly two months later, there is no refund. They have stopped answering my emails. I am sad that this organization preys on female enterpenuers who are trying to build a business. $500 is a lot of money for my small agency. This agency should be brought up on criminal fraud charges.

Same like everyone else: a very professional conversation, then on to an immediate payment. I turned it down, explaining I needed more thinking. I hope they don't call back again and again. A total scam indeed. DO NOT APPLY.

I was been utterly harassed by ISFP. |I have had about ten calls from different U.S numbers each day, with people either hanging up as I answer (I could hear them on the line) or not calling back at the agreed time. I had to tell them I would report them if they called me again.

I complained and got the most unhelpful damage limiting response from 'member support' Alania, that it prompted me to review them now. She was completely without apology.

Thank God they got the message, I hope.

They just called me. She sounded like a pro and very polite as the others said. She told me that a lifetime membership costs 200 USD and if I have a Mastercard I get a 50 USD discount and asked for my credit card details, which disappointed her. Obviously a fraud.

I just dodged a bullet from this so called society! Got a call from a lady named ‘ ‘Pyannae’, she was very polite on phone but I became curious when she insisted on having my payment immediately after adjudging me qualified to become a member. Thank goodness that I decided to check their reviews before giving them a call back on Friday as agreed.
I’m backing out completely. Please don’t fall for this SCAM!
