The International Society of Female Professionals helps women to overcome traditional barriers to successful careers. The society was newly minted in August 2019 in New York City with the mission of being the nation’s premier advocate for professional women of all walks of life and in virtually any professional field of endeavor. Despite women being about equal in number to males worldwide, there are far fewer in the professional world. There are fewer women doctors, lawyers, and other professional fields. There are fewer women executives and business owners despite many examples of prior success. Women have proven they are equally capable of excelling and leading in professional fields, executive roles, and entrepreneurship. Yet, our opportunities remain far fewer than those of our male counterparts. We aim to change that. The International Society for Female Professionals is a global advocate for professional women and actively promotes female advancement at the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial levels. We create a beneficial network that helps to encourage additional investment in the many excellent skills and leadership abilities that women possess but often go overlooked. Our sole purpose is to tear down the commonly encountered barriers that professional women face. Those barriers include lower pay, the proverbial glass ceiling, and fewer opportunities for advancement than our male counterparts. Instead of accepting invisible barriers to success, we work to remove those obstacles and forge new inroads for success. The International Society for Female Professionals creates a community of skilled and talented professional women who have widely varied career goals but share virtually the same obstacles toward success. We are growing our global network of exceptionally experienced, talented, and accomplished women to help support one another while we continue to grow at the national and international levels. Our membership includes licensed professionals, entrepreneurs, and business executives who recognize and have overcome the many challenges women face in a male-dominant professional world. We help women to make new connections and forge new inroads into professions and business opportunities for women. The society always accepts new members while expanding our scope and reaching the global level. We are active locally, nationally, and regionally in helping encourage women to become professionals, find new enterprises, and provide guidance at the executive level. Membership never is passive. We only accept women who are prepared to participate and be global and local ambassadors of female excellence while setting exemplary examples of professionalism and performance for others to follow. The International Society of Female Professionals is one of the newest women’s advocacy groups and immediately faced the challenge of a global pandemic shortly after its founding. Our leaders and members persevered and enabled the society to emerge as a strong force poised to help professional women, entrepreneurs, and executives. We strive to ensure future generations of women leaders enjoy more freedom and greater opportunities for success in the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial world. You can learn more about our advocacy by visiting our website at www.theisfp.com. We also maintain a social media presence on Twitter and Facebook. The society’s efforts go beyond the professional realm. We also help women to better succeed in their personal lives. We help provide you with the tools necessary for success, including the challenges encountered when obtaining an education, professional licensing, and founding new business entities. The International Society of Female Professionals helps to empower women to become strong leaders and advocates who make significant differences in their respective fields of endeavor. We are a global organization based in New York City and are accepting new members. Membership in the society is not a passive task. Instead, we expect our members to proactively promote women’s issues in the professional realm and become true advocates for their fellow female professionals. Women are marginalized in societies worldwide, and we intend to change that as much as possible. You can learn more about the International Society of Female Professionals and how it might help you by calling (718) 440-9304. We are located in New York City at 77 Water St., 8th Floor, 10005. Our mission has just begun and never will stop, and we invite you to become a part of our vital mission on behalf of professional women around the globe. You can contact us to learn more about our membership requirements and our mission to promote women’s excellence and leadership at virtually all levels. If you are in New York City, you can stop by our global headquarters and get a firsthand look at all that we do. We employ about 60 people who help fulfill our mission and expand our vision for more significant opportunities and participation among women with the unique talents and skills needed to ensure success.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam, they will charge your account monthly for charges that you did not authorize. Run as fast as you can
They rate a ZERO in my book!!
They rate a ZERO in my book!!! They contacted me in November. After a lengthy interview, I was told they "accepted me" and I agreed to pay $199, to try a membership for the shortest period of time available. Then, on 1/10, they sent me an email to confirm that I'd spoken to a Mr. Foster that day and agreed on a $499. press package. I hadn't spoken to anyone since November and never a male. When I tried to call, I could not reach anyone, so I emailed. The response the next day was pretty much a reiteration of the previous email. Without waiting, I immediately contacted my cc company, disputed that charge and the membership fee, then cancelled the card. I've never heard back from them. This is a SCAM organization!!!! Too bad they are victimizing business women! Stay away from them!!!
PSA - PRIOR EMPLOYEE OF THE ISFP
PSA -
I was employed with the International Society of Female Professionals & cant attest that your concerns are legitimate. All employees work remotely and CC information is given over the phone & typed into a notepad document, and pasted into Skype where 7 employees see the information and 'run' the card - these 'employees' do not have last names posted or pictures - I personally was told cards were/are run multiple times to try to get them to go through - when questioning the security of this practice, I was told by "international standards it's secure". When questioning the legitimacy - I was 'laid off' for 'budget reasons'. When questioning fraudulent suspicions & I was told to "stop my nonsense".
STAY AWAY from this company!
STAY AWAY from this company. The got me, I signed up, and they never delivered on what they said they would do. For months I waited for their "editorial team" to write my bio and they never delivered. Then, one day, I get a call and I was told I needed to do it on my own. I informed the woman on the line that I was told they would handle it and I just didn't have the time right now. She then told me I needed to "do it on the weekend". From there, I decided to google this place and found all these reviews. BELIEVE everything these reviews say! I fought for a refund by filing a dispute with my bank. I won the dispute and was refunded, but they charged my card again! Thankfully, my bank gave it back and I've requested that they not allow any additional charges from this place. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
They harassed me with phone calls
They harassed me with phone calls for over a week. I finally spoke with someone and told them that I don't want my business connected to them. I did not pay any money, nor did I make any agreements so I have no affiliation nor do I have any connections with them, for which I am glad. The reviews are horrible about the way they are cheating people out of their money. That's terrible.
I am a former employee of this…
I am a former employee of this "company" & I must say, they are scammers. I just recently found out when I did my research on it a few days ago. I accepted the position because of how they presented it to me. Basically said I'll be getting calls from people who have submitted an application to join the group or are interested in joining so it's no cold calling ever. Yea right! Most of the people I talk to don't even remember putting in an application and when they do remember they say it was months ago. Then for the people that says, "they're not interested put them on a do not call list" we're supposed to BUT the boss wants us to still call them day after day until they curse us out and scream at us. Also, they tell you it's a one time fee but really isn't. They charge you multiple times a month after initial payment. They honestly don't have 200 thousand members that's just a rue to get others to join. Please be careful of this company. I am saddened to learn I once worked for this scam of a place but now that I know I had to leave. I don't agree with taking anyone's hard earned money! If you have paid GET A REFUND ASAP. Not sure if you'll get it but still try to.
SCAM
SCAM! They charged hundreds of dollars to my card without my authorization and tried to gaslight me into thinking they were doing me favors. I had to cancel my credit card and just got a notification that they charged me again on a new card. I have no idea how they got my information but this place is SKETCH AF. Avoid at all costs.
Huge Scam!
Huge Scam! Don’t give her money. She makes everything sound wonderful and wastes your time for an hour having you explain your profession but it’s a scam. I have been waiting for a cancellation email and refund and nothing. Same person answers phone and says she is someone different. I put her on mastercards radar. She calls herself Heather Smith or C. Walker.
The staff at ISPF are lovely to work…
The staff at ISPF are lovely to work with and love their professionalism.
Best wishes to you all.
I dodged this one thank goodness!!!
I dodged this one thank goodness! They have been calling for months. I received numerous text messages
"Hello, this is the International Society of Female Professionals following up on your application. Please call 1-929-644-8670 to complete your enrollment". I tried calling that number, but it never connected to anyone.
I finally answered the call from a NY number in December and spoke someone last week. She was very pleasant, but they had the wrong information on file for me. We talked for well over 20 mins then the line was disconnected. I did not receive a call back.
Since then I received additional text messages for example "This is the ISFP making a final attempt to contact you in regard to your application. Please call 1-929-644-8670 to complete your application".
This morning I answered a call from a different sales representative who wanted to re-interview me. I told her that I was surprised that the first interview was not on record. She put me on hold and supposedly spoke with her technical team. Low and behold she says they could not see the details but did see that I was "approved". She then gave a list of benefits of participation in their organization. She highlighted the professional exposure of my bio on their website, social media, and search engines. The cost: Lifetime membership: $299, 2-Year membership: $199. She wanted me to pay by phone, but I told her I was not comfortable doing that. I then read to her all the text messages I received over the past month, which were from an un-manned text box (since they never responded to any of my texts). I told her it feels like a scam. She also said that they could not send me any information via email about what was in the package being offered to me. I told her that I had to do my research before making a decision. She said that she would keep my complimentary acceptance on file and have someone contact me in a month. Whew!!! I am soooo glad that I found this site!!!
I think I got scammed
I think I got scammed. Initially filled out a free profile and then got suckered into a "press release". I received 2-3 calls from a NYC number from "Kimberly" who asked me to send bio and photos. I never received the link to do this. There is no activity on the ISFP website and the browser links are phony. I am in the process of a dispute with my credit card company to start the refund/investigative process.
MAJOR scam!!
I was conned into joining this “professional society”. I canceled my membership within the 14 day cancellation period and was told on November 4, 2022 that my refund would be issues in 3-4 business days. It is almost 2 months later and I still do not have my refund. This organization preys on women who are looking to grow as professionals. If I can prevent one woman from making the mistake of joining this “society”, I will feel better
Received numerous New York phone calls
Received numerous New York phone calls, I'm in the UK. After a lengthy phone interview from a woman who did not have an American accent she dropped the £ to join. Wanted a payment of $499 for lifetime membership over the phone via a credit card. This immediately rang alarm bells. I asked if I could make payment on line, but they do not facitate this. After reading other reviews this seems very much like a fraudulent organisation, shame really as it sounds great in principle. Avoid at all costs
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! I got a call from three different New York numbers add a text message:
This is the International Society of Female Professionals following up on your application. Call 1-929-644-8670 to speak to a membership coordinator now.
Called the number and the lady sounded like a used car salesman trying to sell me the membership. I couldn’t remember if I had signed up for something but if I did, I would have remembered it. I told her I can’t remember who they were and I will check their website out again and do my due diligence because there are so many scams out there she became very defensive and told me that if it was a scam she wouldn’t have wasted 15 minutes talking to me. (Well actually scammers do try to stay on the phone as long as they can to build their trust.) she started bringing the price down to from $200 to $100 for the “lifetime membership” that was another Red flag. I told her that I will reach back out to them when I was ready. She told me they are very busy and have hundreds of applications that they go through (hundreds of application they go through to scam them!!!) she asked me if $100 was a financial issue? people trying to pose as professional and asking me this question. I told her I will check them out and get back to them. After reading all these messages I tried calling back all the three numbers that they tried contacting me with to curse them out but none of them work only a recording comes on. Looks like they get all of your personal information from LinkedIn- not sure how they got my number. I NEVER give my number out.
Stay as far away as you can and
report their numbers, email, website, social media platform, Facebook for fraud
Fraudulent Organization - Run Far Away
This business, being a fraudulent organization, deserves no stars. I applied one week ago, not realizing there was a membership fee. Between yesterday and today, I received 6 calls from all different NY numbers. Since I didn't recognize them and no messages were left, I didn't call back. Today, I received a text message that read: "This is the International Society of Female Professionals following up on your application. Call 1-929-644-8670 to speak to a membership coordinator now."
Their website did not specify membership costs (red flag #1) and they have no LinkedIn presence (red flag #2), which for a "professional" society, is so suspicious! Another quick search on Google brings up multiple sites indicating they are scammers. I guess I will be blocking their numbers for a while...
Faraway is better
They called me without asking if It was a good moment for me. I really don't know where they found out my number. They pushed so much about their services and when I told them that I could not subscribe services that I don't know they started to be rude. I will stay faraway from them
i dodged the bullet
I got call from them today, and right away..I was put into an interview process. First impression, i thought the "interviewer" sounded cold, and it didn't feel natural. Luckily I was by my computer, and googled them, while talking.. I do not ever give my CC info over the phone to anyone..so when she went on about paying over the phone, and giving discount..it was an easy no for me.. Thank God.. I didn't like the interviewer anyway..
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't believe this is a legitimate company at this point. I think it is a scam. These people have taken hundreds of dollars from me and countless others. RUN AWAY from these people if they contact you. And if you're also a victim, leave reviews and reports everywhere. Maybe they will get shut down if enough of us report them.
Seems professional but I think it is a Scam
I saw ISFP on a professional social media site and thought they were a legitimate organization. I should have done some research. In September or early Oct 2022 I was contacted and after a 30 minute interview I signed up. Then I heard nothing from them for 3-4 weeks. Finally they wanted information for my profile and tonight I was charged an additional $500 for the press release of my profile. This wasn’t something that was ever disclosed to me in email or on the phone. Fortunately my bank notified me and we blocked the card. I would strongly suggest other women not be lured in by them. I truly think they are a scam organization.
Asked for my credit card information…
Asked for my credit card information over the phone and insisted that this is the only way I can pay for the membership. Nope, sorry. Not doing that! Then she started giving me discounts and perks, which made me even more sure that this is just a scam. If you're legit, you wouldn't cut money off or have an attitude that shows you'll do anything to get me to pay any amount better than nothing.
Reading other reviews, now I know why they take the card information over the phone!
