Excellent service
We were greeted in a prompt, friendly and business like manner. Having explained what sort of vehicle we were looking for the ideal car was immediately available. This had a large discount on a brand new car and we were offered an acceptable amount for our exchange.
Stevan Wilson the manager directed us to David Boor who could not have been more helpful.

My First John Banks Honda. Bury St Edmunds Experience.
5th March 2026.I went into the John Banks Honda Showroom in Bury St Edmunds. I met Nick Joannides the Car Salesman, he was instantly friendly and welcoming. My Neighbour Pat recommended that I consider Honda and also speak to Nick, which I did.
Nick offered me a Coffee, was polite, listened to what I said, showed me the range of cars available, took me for a test drive, was very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in buying. He did not pressure me, in any way. He answered all my questions.
So I went ahead and brought a Honda HRV.
Nick went thru all the financials, clearly explaining everything to me.
Nick said my Car would be ready for collection on the 13th March 2026 at 12.00pm.
Pat came with me, we had Coffee while Nick took care of all the relevant Paperwork, Road Tax, Log Book etc. Nick explained every aspect of the process to me. We then went to my New Car, which had been valeted and looked lovely. Nick explained every function I asked about to me. Like Warranty, Service, Honda Assist etc, Some I wrote down.
It was honestly the Best Car Buying Experience, I had ever had. And believe me I have had a lot. Lesley

Personal dealership makes car buying a breeze
The team at John Banks are a joy to deal with. We were guided expertly through our car purchase by Nick J, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Nick is so knowledgable, he gave us time and great advice, and made the process completely hassle-free. Very competent detailed handover and I know I can call in with queries. The personal experience at this dealership is second to none and we would highly recommend them to anyone. The vehicle, by the way, has had lots of compliments and has exceeded our expectations.

New hrv
I have been using john banks honda in bury st edmunds for my cars for about 8 years now and dealt with nick joannides.I have just purchased my first brand new car and although we had a problem 2 days before picking our car up I can honestly say nick and John banks could not be more helpful and accommodating . The process was very smooth. I got an email reminder to book my MOT and service, which was really handy. Dropping off the car and picking up the courtesy car was quick. They gave me a call when mine was ready, which kept everything straightforward. Friendly and professional throughout.

I bought my first ever car a few weeks…
I bought my first ever car a few weeks ago from John Banks! David Boor was very kind and knowledgeable. Although I pretty much already knew what I wanted, David was helpful through every step of the process and answered all the questions I had. I’ve had a lovely few weeks driving my Suzuki Swift and looking forward to many more years to come :) Would highly recommend!

Quality service
A good dealer, straightforward and amenable. David was friendly and helpful, kept in touch and communicated clearly. We liked the video they made of the (used) car, it gave a good level of detail and had commentary. We had to travel some way to view the car and were accommodated. The car was exactly as in the video, it was spotless and had been freshly serviced and MOT-d. There was no quibbling or backtracking on anything we'd agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Low-stress experience buying a used car
The staff were friendly and professional, making the process easy to navigate. I appreciated that there was no sales pressure and found them straightforward to talk to. Poppy arranged for me to drive the car away the next day, which was appreciated. Decent coffee too.
