Everyone in the garage was welcoming, but we had most dealings with Mike.. he went over and above for everything.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. A real pleasure to deal with.

I have to say I have been nothing but impressed with Pentland Land Rover Elgin. I bought my car nearly a year ago and the big tell for a Main Dealer is when it come to service after you have bought the car (know this from experience at another more local Dealer) but have to say it been a dream booked my car in for its service they called me the day before to confirm everything I had booked a car while mine was in.

So had to call them on my way I work in Aberdeen about an hour and 15 minutes away whoever road works meant I was going to be late past there closing time.

Called in thinking I was going to have to turn round and try in the morning but Stephen who answered said he would wait for me to arrive.

The service was done and again communication was perfect and no issues with the car just fault less service it the was it should be other Dealers could Learn from them well done guys thanks

Very good performance from salesperson Harley. Once I reserved the vehicle, I was quickly sent a personal video which was well presented and informative. He followed up with a telephone call and had the car available to test drive at a time convenient to me. After the test drive Harley answered all the questions I had, and provided clear information about the extra products available to purchase. I was happy that this information was provided without any attempt to ‘Hard Sell’
The handover was very well done. Harley was clearly knowledgeable about the vehicle and as before, able to answer any questions I had.

Michael Anderson was very knowledgeable about the Range Rover Sport and provided me with valuable help when choosing the specification and options. He also kept me fully informed of the model changes and factory delays.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS… sold me a car 2 years ago and has done 24000 miles it has broke down 5 times since October needing a new engine and several other engine problems. Manager couldn’t care less and basically told me the car has been used!!!! I would not recommend pentland Elgin

In response to your reply - The car was serviced at Pentland Elgin. The repairs done at another dealer was out of my control as landrover assist put it to my nearest dealer, the last time it broke down I asked the manager at pentland could I get it recovered there he said no as they were too busy and it would not get looked at for some time! I ended up going to parks looking for advice about what my options where to get rid of the car and the financial guy at parks gave me invaluable advice so I can now get rid of the car March 2025. I contacted the manager at pentland looking for advice but he wasn’t interested he made me feel like a nuisance when the information provided by parks could of also been provided by pentland but maybe a lack of knowledge. My family have bought several cars from pentland and we would never use them again.

All fine from initial enquiry thro to vehicle acceptance.

It's disappointing that Land Rover seems not to be the quality car it once was (in our experience and that of friends who have also been buying them for decades). The Land Rover dealership network seems to be grinding to a halt, as the cars fall apart and they can't source spare parts ...but that being said the staff at Pentland in Elgin are so friendly, so helpful, so professional and are clearly doing everything they can to minimize the disruption the poor car quality causes their customers, they really deserve credit. And once the cars are fixed they're still great to drive!
