Not very accommodating and unreliable.

Okay, so I didn't buy from this branch, but this is my local branch.

First time I tried to get support from for a minor issue requiring a few minutes of their time, and saving me a commute to the branch I bought my car from. They didn't want a bar of it! Completely refused to help me saying "it's not our problem", even though car was very recently bought from John Clark.

Second time a similar issue, I just wanted to get a light checked on my dash, indicating my car is due for service, it had only just been serviced 3 months earlier, and possibly just not been updated in the settings. Just trying to get a quick check of what the light was indicating, not asking them to do the work! "Workshop is busy, leave your details, we'll get back to you"! I waited patiently for 2 days, just called them back as they didn't get back to me like they said. And now no one is available to speak to me regarding getting the check I am seeking. It's Friday, I'm not interested in trying again on Monday, as they're not interested and obviously not reliable in keeping to what they say, so a commute it is, just to get a light checked on my dash!

It would be helpful if the John Clark team, actually worked together as a team to support their customers.

Hi I can only apologise for my manner on the phone today but if things were done correctly from the start my issue would not have happened, no support or phone calls from dealership and lied to about service on my vehicle these things are easy checked no need for it especially when you have paid top money cash for a pickup

Toby was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car and the buying process. Overall a great experience and so easy to complete.

Chris, he sent us a video and was careful to point out some very tiny flaws which were fixed anyway when we came
To pick it up. Then the crux of why wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again…..it was the wrong car for us, entirely my fault as was listed as
Hybrid and I missed fact that it wasn’t a plug in which is what we wanted. We’d already done all the paperwork and transferred ownership and driven away before we realised.

With minimum fuss and didn’t make me feel any worse. Also gutted because car was beautiful and really good value. So totally recommend and thanks to Chris.

I agreed to purchase a vehicle for £42.850 cash with Chris Thomson at the Sterling dealership. This was on Monday morning having spoken to him about it on the Sunday afternoon. I reserved the vehicle and said I would arrange funds and he said no problem etc.
I have had an email fro
Him this afternoon telling me it’s bad news and the vehicle was double sold and had been purchased on the Saturday prior to myself. I asked how this was possible and how was I able to reserve it and arrange a deal and only be told about this 24hrs later and have had no reply.
I have no arranged the funds and have no vehicle which all In all is really really poor.
The cynic in me suspects another customer has agreed full price on finance rather than a cash up front deal but I haven’t had any updates and it’s unlikely they would admit it.
Chris seemed a genuine guy but this is a deal let down

Was a great experience from start to finish. Nothing was rushed we took as long as we needed to pick out our new car
