When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted warmly by a staff member, who turned out to be the branch manager. After explaining what kind of car we were looking for, he recommended a vehicle that was not yet prepared for sale and was parked in another lot. After viewing it, we decided it was the right one for us. However, it was not cleaned and had a few small scratches.

The manager explained that their workshop would take care of everything — the scratches would be fixed, the car fully cleaned, and we could collect it in six days. That seemed fine to us. During that time, we received all the necessary paperwork by email so we could complete the purchase and payment online, which was very convenient and saved time. We also agreed on a specific pickup time via email.

Unfortunately, when we arrived at the agreed time, we had to wait about half an hour before being assisted. When we finally saw the car, the scratches had not been repaired, and the cleaning was done quite poorly — there was visible dirt around the door sills and inside the car. After mentioning the scratches, the staff member quickly grabbed some tools and tried to fix them on the spot. He managed to improve some of them, but not all.

Overall, we ended up buying the car, but it was disappointing that it wasn’t fully prepared and cleaned as promised.

Absolutely excellent service from Nissan John Clark in Aberdeen. From start to finish i cannot fault them. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mike who helped me find my new car a Nissan qashqai which I love. Excellent sales man and a genuinely nice man. He really made the process go smoothly and kept me right with everything and went through the car with me before I left forecourt as its my first Nissan. I will definitely return when its time for my next car.

I was made welcome by the salesman who explained the features of the new qashqai and took me for a test drive. He answered all my concerns about the car and options to purchase etc.
I am very happy with the car itself and would recommend the customer experience.

I Bought a Hyundai Tucson from the garage

Unfrotunately on delivery from Aberdeen to Edinburgh i got a call from dundee saying the car had an issue and was just getting a check over in dundee. an hour later the car set off again after being told it was a minor issue . so i requested a full report from this as anyone buying a car would be extremely worried the car cant drive 100 miles without an issue
another hour passes and the next call saying the car will not be getting delivered now and a full refund will need to happen.
quite a change in direction from a small minor fault to major works needing done.

So after this you would think i would get all the money back ASAP , well its taken 8 days for me to finally receive my £500 deposit back after me chasing the dealership up nearly every day.

And on top of this out of pocket for flip flopping between insurance covers for admin fee's and zero hint of any compensation from john clark group.

In between this 8 days the garage has
miraculously been able to list the car back available again and some poor unsuspecting customer has reserved it, so if you have bought the Hyundai Tucson SA70 ZBC you should request information on what works have been done in the past week.

All great, no issues and fantastic service right through to pick up.

We found the car salesman Mr G Farmer very helpful and answered all our questions. We found him very knowledgeable and hospitable.
Everything went smoothly from the start to the finish and to when we picked up our car.

We had ordered the xtrail x trec edition and had waited for a few weeks before we had a phone call to say it was discontinued due to poor sales, we had an offer of an upgrade to the tekna but in silver. We also had to except in in a couple of days which I wasn't to happy about because we really wanted it in black. Apart from that very happy with the service, Jack, Reece and Aidan but mostly dealt with Jack and it was such an easy process. I do think we should have had a bit more of a discount due to the change in colour and spec. So overall the experience was good and your staff is an absolute credit to Nissan. Jack just starting out in his sales career, well done 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼

Recently bought a Nissan QashQai from John Clark Nissan Aberdeen, Jack Edmonstone was our salesman, he was friendly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I was there last week too look at a car and i was picking it up couple of days ago Josh and the whole team made me feel so welcome could not fault anyone or anything they are so patient throughout the whole process they made a day that was special to me definitely can not fault them at all

I have been a Motability customer for over two years and the service from the outset and for a service has been first class. Yesterday after a car wash elsewhere in the city, I noticed a number plate mounting screw was missing and the plate was hanging off. I called the parts department and explained my predicament given I was travelling to England the next day. Kyle in the parts department explained to come in as he had the part. I arrived just after 5pm and got Kyle straight away. He went above and beyond and came out to the car park and then returned and fitted my number plate securely. So polite, professional with an encyclopaedic mind. What a fine young man and sent me on my way wishing me a safe and enjoyable trip. What a credit to his employer and a rare find. Brilliant
