The whole experience was excellent.
The whole experience was excellent.
I test drove 3 different vehicles and after much deliberation I chose the MG s5. The salesman was not pushy and explained in great detail all there was to know about the car.
Everything very easy and they completed all the forms with ease. My car has arrived and I love it! All of the staff were excellent and a special mention to Steve and also to Cameron for completing my forms

Bad products terrible customer service
Bought a used vehicle in April from MG branch in Dundee. Paid £9000. In July the head gasket went. Warranty company refusing to make good the repairs. John Clark have the vehicle, have stripped the engine and are dealing with warranty company. Customer service is terrible. Very poor updates. No real desire to resolve this. Sold poor quality vehicle. Would avoid at all costs.
Update after months of delay and terrible service they are not resoliving my issue. Sold a vehicle not fit for purpose. Will be making a report to trading stadards. Avoid at all costs.

Regrettably…I bought a 2019 Fiat 500…
Regrettably…I bought a 2019 Fiat 500 from John Clark MG Dundee…distance sale,all completed by telephone.
I will keep the story brief.Delivered /driven to Aberdeen for me as requested ,shipped to Orkney at my expense as agreed.
Noted RH seat belt wrapped around headrest and draped over seat upon collect of vehicle at ferry port, and immediately I see why!!
Belt fabric cut and chaffed so badly that belt will not retract into its reel.UNSAFE NOT ROADWORTHY.Photographs available.
NOW, the little car had been passed through a new MoT test the previous day by the vendor themselves..!!Car rejected and returned to vendor promptly.
Part unavailable from Fiat,poor response from vendor and I am still out of pocket for the amount of BOTH ferry journeys for my mistake in trusting these clowns,vehicle purchase amount refund received only,and it was hard work to get it..!! Delay in writing this review to allow for ferry cost reimbursement hope which now appears to be forgotten.
Poor Mr.Clark, his family have now allowed the old established respected name to fall due to loss of control through volume sales .Time to remove his history file from the website,it’s all in the past I’m afraid.
We then bought a wee gem from Sandy Thain.
I’d still like a refund for the ferry costs .

I was advised an amount that my monthly…
I was advised an amount that my monthly payment would be, which I was then told would decrease slightly due to the fact I had to place a higher value deposit due to the age of the car. I have been setup with the finance account to view my payments and I am set up to pay £15 MORE per month. I can’t say I will be returning at the end of this agreement for my next car

You could improve by putting the basics in car, car mats, furst car I’ve bought not knowing there were no mats. I was told all the positives but not the negatives, my mirrors not electric and no heated windscreen. I would like to have known these important details.

My experience with John Clark Mg Dundee was perfect to say the least , all the staff were very polite and courteous especially the salesman Steve smith who dealt with myself . Steve is a excellent asset to the company and was extremely helpful when it came to picking and purchasing both a Motability car for myself and also with the purchase of a new car for my Daughter .

Recent MG purchase.
Had to wait over a week to get car, due to part not being available. Despite paying the amount on the Invoice issued by John Clark I have been informed , two weeks later, that I have not paid the correct amount and the payment was short, this was apparently my fault. I have bought numerous cars over the years ,this is the only time this has happened. At best this is very disappointing at worst very annoying.I certainly won’t be using John Clark MG .Dundee again.

Zero customer service
Zero customer service. I had a bad experience with my MG car annual service and when I tried to get a response by phone and by email no interest. Over 8 weeks now since the service and the "customer service" never gets back. They should realise there are alternatives and no need for customers to put up with this type of service.
