Having had unenjoyable experiences with salesmen over the years it was a breath of fresh air dealing with Joey who made the whole process easy. Sorting things out with the new car and answering any questions. Also giving you(and explaining) the option to buy other packages without being over exertive. From first placing an order for my new car to collecting it the process was simple and straightforward. Alan the salesman was as always really helpful. He contacted me on the evening after I had picked up the car to make sure I was happy and then another sales person phoned a couple of days later.

Love the car but not John Clark.
John Clark Perth is 4hrs from our location, so they provided a video walk round of the car. The salesman states the car is cracking and is mainly free of stone chipping and seems to try and bypass a scrape about 3" long which has removed the paint so you can see the black plastic bumper, i thought it was just muck.(later i was told he is only human and missed it)
We put a deposit of £100 to reserve the car on the Wednesday and the salesman told us it was fully refundable even if we did not go ahead and buy the car. We explained we would let him know on Friday as my wife was going into hospital and she had too much on her mind to decide, he said that was OK.
The same day the person who put the car package together rang asking us to decide that day, saying why would you put £100 deposit on a car if you weren't going to buy it. This was high pressure sales and I did not give him an answer.
When I rang the salesman on the Friday to go ahead with the sale, I mentioned about the phone call and he told me he had told him not to call.
We arranged to pick the car up on the Tuesday. We looked around the car and I pointed out the touched up scrape on the front bumper, which was very poorly done. He went on to explain the previous owner had done it, probably with a touch up pen from Halfords.
When I got the car home it was covered in dead flies so washed the front, the paint just came off from the scrape. My wife reminded me about what I thought was muck and checked the video and it was the scrape, so the previous owner had not touched it up.
We sent an email with photos wanting an explanation, 4 days later still no reply.
So I phoned, the salesman said he thought it was another salesman who had touched it up for another viewing and would check with him when he returned from holiday(very convenient)
We asked if another salesman had touched it up for another viewing how was the paint still wet and washed off after nearly 5 days from us buying it.
After denial upon denial they had done no wrong and speaking to a colleague up the chain of command all I wanted was the scrape to be repaired. Their final decision was all they could do was say sorry.
Even when I told them I had got a price £260 and we could go halves.
If they had been honest about the scrape and not tried to cover it up, I would of just asked them to sort it with a discount.
Then they wouldn't have had to makeup this wonderous tale.

Great customer service, Alan was very helpful and always ready to help with any issues or problems if any. Would highly recommend.

Communication wasn't good to begin with but improved significantly when a new sales person took over - became excellent.

Good quality car but could have done with a more informative handover. Sales team have offered for me to come back and run through some items which is useful. No service book as all on line which is annoying but not John Clarks fault.
I am enjoying my second hand vehicle.
