We have had two orders from Island Furniture for our new house and both orders where delivered on schedule as promised. The furniture does take some time to make but it is very well made and worth the wait. We would recommend this company for mahogany furniture.

Would have given a 5 star except drivers did not take away the boxes. Other than that, the furniture is excellent quality and was delivered on time. We would recommend.

Good communication from the start, bed turned up early on the day booked and I'm sitting on it right now as I write this review, it's beautifully made and worth every penny.

We recieved both sleigh beds for our childrens room over the weekend. Absolutely beautiful furniture and tip top service. Drivers could not have been more helpful, Well done guys

I bought a large drinks cabinet in the style of an old telephone box. It was delivered promptly but unfortunately had a pane of glass broken. I contacted Island Furniture and arrangements were made to exchange the unit. My emails were answered really promptly and the only delay in receiving the new unit was caused by having to wait a week for new stock to arrive. The new unit was delivered by their own couriers. I am extremely happy with the service that I have received and would definitely recommend this company.

Quality table, extremely sturdy and looks great in the living room. Love the curves in the free edge look. Thank you so much The Island Furniture Co for such an amazing table and that too at such an affordable rate. Thumbs up!

I have a stunning bed, but there was a fault with it which needed repairing. Island repaired it and now it looks good as new, my reason for 4* is simply that there was a delay between reporting the issue and the repair and I did have to chase it a little. This is the second bed I’ve bought from them, both of which are large wooden sleigh beds, the first one was bought about 14 years ago and is still absolutely fine.

Great place to buy wooden furniture!! I recently bought a couple of items from this site and really impressed with their quality. They all are exactly the same as described in their site and looks great in my home. In fact I have already started getting compliments from my guests. Thank you so much, the kind of services and products you guys provide are hard to get these days.

I ordered 2 wooden drawer chests and they arrived 2 days prior to the delivery date. The quality is great, drawers are really spacious and it cost me way less than other websites. Definitely going to shop again from here. 5 stars.

My bespoke order arrived. It was well worth the wait and it fits the alcove perfectly. Drivers were helpful but could not take away the boxes.

I would not recommend using this company for the following reasons. I ordered a bespoke piece of furniture at the end of May 2019 and paid for it in full over the phone. I was told by the customer service advisor that took my order that the fabric I wanted to cover the furniture was available. Later on, she then told me it was not available and offered another style of fabric for the covering. I requested a sample of this second fabric through the post and was told there was no sample avaliable but was emailed a picture of the fabric covering another piece of furniture. I requested a clearer picture be sent to me and was awaiting this before making a decision. As I did not hear back from the company for sometime, I rang them up to see what was going on with my order and was told by the same customer service advisor I would be emailed re this. An email was sent to me shortly after my phone conversation advising me that the fabric I wanted was not available, so I was lied to for a second time. The email also stated that my order was now under production when I had not given the go ahead for this to happen, considering there was no agreed fabric to the cover furniture, and that I could get a discount if furniture had no covering and pay to cover furniture myself through another company. This was not what I originally paid for. Fed up with being lied to and let down, I requested a full refund for my order. I was sent a follow up email by the company stating they would refund me in 7/10 days. The deadline for the refund was Thursday 4th July 2019. The refund had not come through by then so I sent an email to customer services that same day threatening legal action if I did not get my money back. This email was not responded to. I then rang the company on the following Monday to speak to a manager only for the lady who lied to me about the furniture covering to answer the phone and conveniently, after keeping me on hold for a while, tell me all the managers were in a conference and that my refund would be processed on Friday. By now I was extremely fed up with all of this and threatened legal action over the phone. I then send another email on 10th July 2019 with a final warning of legal action. This time an email was sent to me the following day saying I had been refunded. I was then sent another email on 16th July 2019 threatening me with legal action in 7 days time if I did not remove certain wording I had used to describe the company's treatment of me in my review, this now being my updated review. Basically, there was no apology or recognition that they had done anything wrong or even that they should not lie to customers, promising something they can't deliver. There was also no recognition of the fact that the company held on to my money longer then they should have and lied to me that it would be refunded back to me in 7/10 days when in reality the refund took a lot longer then this and I had to keep chasing for my money to be given back to me. This is a company I will avoid using in the future.
