Great DIY course, loads of tips, learned a huge amount. Looking forward to putting it to use

This was a brilliant course, really accessible to someone with absolutely no prior knowledge. Martin and Eoin are excellent, we learned a huge amount and there was loads of practical experience as well. Loved it.

Using the power tools in a safe and encouraging environment gave great confidence to everyone on their DIY journey.

The sandwiches, tea, and little almond tarts were divine, great touch with the certificates and goody bag to boot.

I attended the DIY course today with Martin and the DIY academy. It was a great hands-on course. Martin and Eoin were so knowledgeable and helpful. I learnt loads and I can't wait to start fixing things around my house.

Really enjoyed the DIY course, learned loads, very accessible tho those with no prior knowledge and lots of hand on experience, feeling much more confident to give things a go now, and all products available to buy at good prices. Recommend ++

Well organised and very well structured introductory course to DIY. Martin knows his stuff and is a good teacher and makes sure it's an inclusive day for everyone. Would recommend the women's only group for anyone sitting on the fence, get stuck in!

The workshop was brilliant,very clear in the delivery of information. Practical also everyone had a chance to use equipment in a very safe manner.Great atmosphere fun way to learn .I ll definitely take the next one.

My grandmother and I attended the full day DIY women’s workshop in May. Martin was so knowledgeable and approachable about all things DIY. He answered everyone’s questions and came around to help everyone with the hands-on activities. Coming from a background of no knowledge at all, we found it really engaging and informative and enjoyable as well as we got to know the other women on the course and have a bit of a laugh. Lunch, tea, coffee, water and pastries were also provided when we arrived and midway through the day. We couldn’t recommend the course enough!

Can't recommend the DIY course I attended here enough. It was done with DIY academy and Martin was great. Well be tackling all the jobs at home now with confidence.
