Not particularly fast or personable, never once answered the phone over the course of 9 months.

One star was too much to be honest. We had to dismiss this company. A truly awful experience. We’re still waiting for our paperwork, even though theyve said its all been posted out. We were initially told a pack of lies from our real estate agent that pushed us into a sale of our house, with people who still cant get a mortgage (a separate review for them is also being written). The problem with Insight Law is they would only respond to a relevant email, between one and two weeks, after writing them an email, if they responded at all. Half the time they would only reply to my email, to the real estate company (who actually recommended Insight Law in the first place). We were asked if we were happy to have a trainee solicitor act for us, which we didnt mind (we did expect her to be mentored though - which was clear wasnt happening). Insight Law just wouldnt act ‘for us’ and appeared to act more for the real estate company, who we’ve also dismissed. Now we’re stuck in a sale, to this day, with people who cant buy our house, even though all parties, apart from us, worked collectively against us. Such a strange thing to experience. People be aware.

Natalie and her team made sure i was aware of the process from onset. Their quote came through quickly, and subsequent to my feedback/comments they delivered and exceeded my expectations.
Their turnaround is very impressive no stone was left unturned & their Legal advise is the 1st among equals. Very helpful firm and I would high recommend them!

Hi all. Just sharing bad experience with this company. Have lost almost £1000 because of solicitors didn't bother to check paperwork properly and have interest only on quick sale not in customer interest. So my advise double check what you signing or go elsewhere as they can't be trusted.

We used Insight Law to buy a house in Bristol. As compared to Lyons Bowe, who we had used for a previous intended Bristol house purchase, I found them unresponsive and unhelpful. Matters dragged on for weeks without communication from them. We had to phone or email them to get any information. It didn't look as though they would make the intended completion date because there had been no exchange of contracts then suddenly they said we could complete and exchange contracts on the same day, causing unnecessary stress. When I rang them with a query the day before completion no-one was available, I was asked to leave a voicemail but couldn't because the voicemail was full. (Although someone did ring me back later.) They do not provide a secure portal for receipt of documents. I was asked to get and pay for ID from the post office, with them also charging me for ID- when I complained about this, after much obfuscation they agreed not to charge me for ID. I get the impression they take on too much work for the level of staffing. I thought they were expensive, given the mediocre service provided.

I considered Insight Law under recommendation from a good friend. My initial experience of the team was very good. I was keen to understand typical price for the service I needed (BTL purchase via a Limited Company). I got in touch via email and I got a response within a day or so. Rhodri's response demonstrated very good knowledge of this sector which gave me confidence to select this firm. I had a series of property deals lined up and I wanted to work with a good firm. When a few months after I was ready to move further with a deal, I emailed into the BTL team and got no response. The same happened a month after when I had another deal to close. I perhaps caught this firm at a period of high work load but it is a red flag for me when a business cannot find the time to even acknowledge receipt of a customer enquiry. I will be looking to take my work elsewhere.

Please Read the reviews before contacting this company, there is defiantly a pattern with insight law, they don't respond to Emails, i don't feel informed and i don't actually know what is happening with my mortgage purchase.
all of which are basic issues that any reliable conveyancing firm should be doing.
Its a waste of time complaining to them if they are not going to respond to a general enquiry i don't see them responding to a complaint.
it is now my intention to take this to the legal umbudsman insight Law should not be able to get away with treating people like this

Jon Smart, Olivia and the rest of the team are absolutely superb! Use insight for all of our property purchases and the service is first class, they never fail
to disappoint. As a property buying company we are always working to very fine deadlines. I especially like how relaxed it feels to be able to leave this in their capable hands! Always deliver with flying colours, highly recommended!

Being a first time buyer I was unsure about a lot of thing but thanks to Grace Woollard from Insight Law my experience was great ! Grace was with me every step of the way and helped me throughout the whole process and answered all my queries. Very polite and professional and very keen to help !

Excellent experience with this firm! Highly recommended for first time buyers. Grace, was very helpful, explained us everything during the process and she was very responsive, coming back to us with an answer very quick what is perfect for first time buyers that are not familiar with the process. For future purchase, we will hire their services again.

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with Insight Law whilst buying a house. Our lawyer was very difficult to get hold of, rude and unprofessional. We had to be vigilant about everything processed by this firm and uncovered many mistakes. They did offer us a reduction in their fee which helped. A few weeks after concluding the transaction we realised they had received cashback from our mortgage supplier and had not sent it to us. They promptly transferred us the missing money when we brought it to their attention but sadly this was just another example of us having to check everything they did.

Absolutely nothing positive to say about these people- turned our house purchase into a horrid, slow, unnecessarily stressful disaster which eventually fell through.

If you value your time and/or your sanity, stay very very far away from these people. Absolutely abysmal.

We found their replies and responses beyond slow. Impossible to get in contact with for the most urgent matters. Would not recommend them again for conveyancing. They dragged their feet and made the whole process stressful and difficult.

Rhodri at Insight Law did a fantastic job for us. He was always easy to get hold of, helpful and friendly. Having him conduct our conveyancing made a stressful time much less stressful. I’d highly recommend Insight Law.

Grace Wollard was absolutely fantastic in sorting out the legal side of my house.
She was fast, dynamic and very efficient.
Grace is communication skills were excellent
Responding to every email and call promptly.

Each step of the way I was advise by her. And even on exchange she met the deadline i requested.
She is a joy to speak to, Insight Law are lucky to have such a knowledgeable experience person like grace among there staff.
I will definitely use Insight Law and recommend family and friends ! 100% use Grace again. And I’m already looking at a next Proprty. Thank you to insight Law.

Best review I can make is..... they did the job!
They trade as an 'expert' house sales conveyancing agent but I found them to be uninspiring, unexceptional and run-of-the mill, certainly displaying nothing to recommend them.
Communication were dire, eMails and 'phone calls going unanswered and their urgency was - nil. It backfired badly on me when during our business I tried to complain to one of the Senor Managers, I thought she would be sympathetic, empathetic and apologetic. Not so, she treated me as a cretin and told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. "Sorry Madam, but I do know when a Business that I am paying for is failing in its job, for heavens sake I am not being updated and your staff are ignoring me". I was accused of 'being rude', if I was, I think I was justified. I think it more to be the case of Insight Law did not appreciate their shortcomings being identified and mentioned.
To finally wrap it up...... They 'forgot' to send me any invoice and documentation whatsoever. I thought (once I had reminded them) that a letter of explanation and/or apology might be nice,
This was Insight Law... not a chance.
