The planning of our itinerary, booking of very nice hotels, reservations , tickets with seat assignments for the trains, the guides, the drivers meeting us for our transfers, etc all made for a wonderful grand vacation! Thanks

InsideJapan were great. We were quite specific as to what we wanted and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Our travel arrangements were seamless and took any anxiety out of our trip. The guides they provided for Tokyo and Kyoto were charming, knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Our accommodation completely fitted the bill - every location was perfect - and their recommendations were the icing on the cake for our trip.
We can particularly recommend Will Gooding who from the start made planning our trip a pleasure.

The itinerary was carefully and thoughtfully planned. The chosen hotels were excellent and the travel arrangements worked well.

We worked with our Inside Japan consultant to design a great trip. He heard and understood what we liked and wanted to do and planned a perfect itinerary. Each day we were surprised and delighted. Tours and guides were excellent and each hotel or ryokan had a special charm. When we had a little glitch while traveling, Inside Japan answered their phones and took care of it.

Superb service, excellent guide 'books' for self-guided travellers. Wonderful to have all the railway tickets ready on arrival and clear instructions for use. Very good English-speaking guides provided where needed. I would use them again if I could do another trip

The company had extensive and excellent preparation materials, was responsive while planning and traveling, had considerable expertise for guidance, provided friendly and informative guides, and planned a wonderful detailed trip for us. Our independent travel was flawless. I would gladly refer them to anyone interested in Japan travel.

We have used Inside Japan to organise three trips to Japan for us. Each trip was planned meticulously for us, taking into account our personal preferences. Each was completely different and enabled us to experience cities both modern and traditional as well as wonderful natural environments. The tour guides during our holidays were well informed and warm. We felt the holidays represented excellent value for money.

Our guide was the difference maker. He was exceptional -- extremely knowledgeable, patient, flexible, fun, and firm when he had to be. The tour itinerary was fine but our guide, Jeff, made its come alive. Can't say enough about the value he brought to our experience.

Inside Japan was terrific. Chris McKay listened to our wishes and planned trip perfectly. Our guides accommodations, guides and drivers were wonderful. The on call support team took care of any last minute wishes we had while in Japan and were always available. I would not hesitate to recommend Inside Japan for a trip to this wonderful company and would use again if we go back.

We had a fabulous time with our superb guide Finn Sands- Davies. The organisation pre tour was first class and Finn had so much knowledge of the places we visited and the history of Japan. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We found Inside Japan to be extremely comprehensive and thorough in preparing us for our trip to Japan. They listened to what we wanted and made sure we accomplished it. Chris McCay was especially attentive to our needs and was always there to answer any questions that we had .. They thought of everything ie info pack of each days itinerary and numbers to call if anything went array. which it didn't.Also appreciated the mobile Wi Fi. The translator device did not work optimally. The guides that they chose were easy to understand and very punctual. We particularly appreciated Chris's recommendations on hikes to take during our trip. We had the best time and was a trip of a lifetime. We are considering a trip back to Japan to see the Northern sections..

Inside Japan put together a phenomenal trip for us. They are incredibly knowledgeable about Japan and thus are able to taylor a trip to ones needs. The guides they got for us were all excellent. Inside Japan gave us clear instructions on how to use the subway and rail systems which allowed us to really feel like “locals.” Finally, they had people in Japan available to answer our questions throughout. A+. A must if you plan to go to Japan.
