We purchased are wedding rings from the Queensgate store and despite getting what we wanted, which was great, i found the experience a little deflating.

I always envisioned being made to feel really special when purchasing our wedding rings and to have a really good conversation with the staff, but they didn't acknowledge us when we arrived (I understand they were with someone, but some acknowledgment would have been great) and they hardly made any conservation with us.

When i asked any questions, they didn't appear to know the answer. My fiancé told me not to worry about, but this is an important part of wedding planning and one that should be filled with excitement and happy memories. Perhaps I am overthinking it.

The lady who sold us our rings was quite bubbly but still, the conservation wasn't there. Perhaps they were stressed and busy, but i still expected a better experience.

It would also be nice if the staff dressed formally, similar to the high end stores. As this might create a more professional and special experience, in my opinion.

Overall, as i said, we got what we wanted because we knew what to look for. However, the staff could have made the experience more personal and special, in my opinion.

I hope this feedback is taken on board.

Item not delivered, no tracking, customer service not helpful - keep being fed a lot of nonsense and everyone tells me something different. I want a refund, they agreed, told it will take 3 days. 3 days passed I got back in touch then told 5 days and then 10 days depending on who I’m talking to. Am told I’ll receive emails that verify this and that, but to date I’ve never received an email from them. It’s been over 3 weeks since I’ve ordered and you would think it would have been sorted by now. They are happy to take my money in a blink of an eye, but for some reason it’s so difficult to refund money. I will never shop here again!
I just can’t believe that a well known high street shop is so unprofessional when it comes to dealing with problems and make it so difficult for customers to get their money back! Buyers beware!!!

Brought my engagement ring into Queensgate Peterborough store after a diamond fell out. Nearly a month later my fiance went into store to pick it up to be told they was really sorry but they had put in the safe and forgot about it and they had only just noticed. Nearly 4 months on and i still don't have it back. Everytime we call we get the same manager who claims she's new, it's her first week and she will chase it up. Customer services have compensated me £50 which is worthless compared to my ring which they said I can't have back until fixed. They even had the cheek in store to call me and say my warranty has now run out and we need to pay although have now admitted it was under warranty. I just want my engagement ring and cannot believe the way it's still being dealt with. I'm so upset the most important piece of jewelery I've ever owned and more importantly the meaning of it has been gone so long and I fear what's going to happen next to it and of I'll ever get it back. Definitely won't ever shop at H Samuels ever again. Absolutely deverstated!!!

Wanted two watches for my twin nephews 21st birthdays, the sales assistant was excellent at recommending watches and we are delighted with them and a great price too.

I received a satisfactory customer service during my time when I bought my items from H.Samuel.

We were looking for silver earrings for a 50th birthday. We showed the assistant which ones we liked. She demonstrated them to us and we made our purchase.

Small watches must have the guarantee filled in as I had to send a photo of the watch to Citizen web site didn't recognize the numbers on watch and Queens gate shop still didn't get it right on second visit .

I bought my mum some earrings from your store in queensgate Peterborough the staff were very helpful and friendly and my mum her new earrings thank u

The service was excellent. I was able to choose and ask questions about the product I bought. Some useful advice was given.

Great choice of very attractive, reasonably priced watches, great service from the lady who took the links out of my bracelet watch purchase. The test will be how long it will last, my previous Tissot watch lasted 15years before it was stolen.

I waited for 20+ minutes just to get someone’s attention to get a battery for my watch. Took my whole lunch time:)
