Absolutely disgraceful service in the Nuneaton branch. Brought a pair of earrings in store last week for a birthday present (birthday is not till March). Was never asked at point of sale about a hygiene seal, had never heard of this before, earrings have never been opened. Took them back in store today as realised daughter already had them, staff member who we believe was Sarah Barnett, refused to refund or exchange them as there was no hygiene seal on them. When we explained we were never asked about this she point blank refused to discuss it, even when the staff member who severed us last week confirmed she did not ask us about the seal. They had also sold us £5 insurance which is a complete waste of money as the earrings are never going to be used and our daughter cannot get a different set. Also after reading through the insurance booklet and being told they were covered for loss it seems that is also not the case and this has been miss-sold to us. Will not be purchasing from H Samuel’s again in the future.

Not an happy bunny, I took my precious diamond set wedding ring in for rhodium plating, the diamonds were checked with an eye glass in front of me and photos taken. 2 week later after nipping into the shop I was told that 1 diamond was broken, a quarter was missing, how do you even break an inset diamond?! They have now replaced the diamond but it was my fault it was damaged apparently. I was told it was ‘a gesture of goodwill’ they replaced it. I requested my original diamond back that was ‘damaged’ but that was lost apparently. That’s my wedding ring with high sentimental value to me!! I requested a refund of the plating fee but the area manager said no as I had the diamond replaced, I only took my precious ring in for plating, had 2 weeks of stress and phone calls and I now have what I feel like is a different ring. I will never use them again. The girls were lovely in the shop but their hands were tied. Terrible service ‘Ratners’

Quick and easy what you expect

I entered your Nuneaton store today in typical bloke fashion having no idea what to get !! I was greeted by Sophie who went out of her way to help me get the right Valentine’s Day present for my partner I will definitely be going back for future gifts and seeking Sophie’s help 😁

Got a sekonda watch within days the 'water resistant' watch was misting up..I took it back but forgot my receipt so I was told "theres nothing we can do without the receipt " I was working and needed a watch for work so I opened the back to let the water escape so I could actually see the time...Took it back again with the receipt and was told because I had opened it there was nothing they could do...great customer service so I bit the bullet and got an accurist watch went on holiday and low and behold this one was misting up too...so I took it back and they gave me a new one... this one didn't even work... really poor experience

My wife and I celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary this year and decided to buy each other rings.
We went into the H Samuel shop in Nuneaton to be greeted very warmly and friendly.
The assistant was knowledgeable and very helpful in advising the best ring for my wife. We ordered the ring for my wife and aim to pick it up at a later date.
The ring I liked was available in my size and we brought it home.
The assistant's name was Sarah. We strongly advise you to keep her and treat her well.

Today I went in to the Nuneaton store to have some links taken out of my sons watch. I was served by Sarah (i think) who was extremely approachable and friendly. She advised to return a little later so the links could be removed so we did. Upon returning again, another approachable member of staff. Sarah came out to us and tried the watch on my son, it fitted perfectly! I would fully recommend using this store and would love for Sarah to recieve praise because we truly think she is a valuable member of staff. Amazing customer service!!
