I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at H. Samuel. I brought in my Hugo Boss watch which was purchased in MARCH 2025 — which cost £100 and had only been worn a handful of times — because the crown had fallen out. For such a well-known brand and price point, I expected far better quality.
What made the situation even worse was H. Samuel’s refusal to repair it. Instead of standing by the products they sell or offering any form of support, they simply dismissed the issue. This left me with an almost-new watch that’s now completely unusable.
I expected much higher standards from both H. Samuel and Hugo Boss. Poor quality product, poor customer service, and no accountability. I won’t be purchasing from them again.
I have owned other watches in similar price bracket for over 15 years & never had a crown fall out. I was told its not covered under the warranty, in the case any watch that has a issue even 1 week after purchase would be rejected for a repair.
Why would I even shop here again at this retailer?
THIS IS A WARNING TO PEOPLE TO NOT BUY A WATCH FROM H SAMUEL.

The lady who served us at the manchester fort store was wonderful
