Christine looked after us very well. The staff in general are always making you welcome every time we go in to have a look around and acknowledge us every time we pass by the shop.

We have called in to H Samuels a few times in the last couple of months. Previously it was to get a watch fixed however today it was to purchase a pair of pearl earrings and a men’s watch.
We were quickly and efficiently attended to by Cameron who was extremely pleasant and chatty. We were happy to find that both items were in the sale.
On the previous visits to get the watch fixed we were attended to by Abbie who again was extremely pleasant.
A really friendly shop and I’m sure we will be back.

Lovely friendly lady, nothing was an issue. Helped me to choose my wedding band and we all know that is a long process.

I called into H Samuel before Christmas last year. I was looking for a specific bracelet which I thought H. Samuel sold however I spoke to Christine about wanting a Charm bracelet to put my own charms on. Christine told me that H . Samuel don’t sell them and I should try Pandora for a charm bracelet that I can add my own charms on to. Christine did however remind me that Pandora charm bracelets can be expensive.

We were looking for just an everyday watch for my wife, nothing fancy. We were served by Cameron who even though it was not going to be an expensive purchase was still very attentive, helpful and gave good advice. Thank you Cameron.

Great service in the Cramlington store. Sue spoke to our 2 grand daughters in a mature but sympathetic manner about the our chase of their 1st earnings.
Trying to find a portal on the H Samuel site that allows me to write a review was a nightmare. Totally spoiled the experience. Best bit was being told by the Chat bot that it had gone home to bed. I though AI didn't Sleep!
If you want a positive review make it easy via the Web site and not via QR code that just link you to a,Web site with no review portal.

After purchasing a wedding ring I had an issue with the size of the ring due to it's profile in shape. The staff in store were great in reordering the correct size prior to our wedding day.

Excellent service from staff at the Cramlington branch. My daughter has had her ears pierced by Kara on several occasions. She has had no problems with them and you have a good choice of ear rings to choose from. You also receive free ear care solution with every piercing. Very friendly staff and would definitely recommend getting your ears pierced here.

Christine and Sue were so helpful and patient with us. Christine xplained exactly how watch worked and about the guarantee. We weren’t rushed into buying anything selected different watch that we purchased.

My son came in for his ear pierced and was seen to by Christine, she was so lovely and made sure he was comfortable and happy, a great job done. Thankyou.

Wanted 2 thin gold rings to be increased in size - 1 9ct the other 18ct. Charged £329 on the spot which seemed a bit expensive. Work would take 2-3 weeks. After a week, the store called to say that "their repairer" wanted another £400 to repair the stone setting as "the job was bigger than expected". I pointed out that the work agreed was not a restoration but a size increase - store claimed they did not know that - despite being clearly indicated on the receipt.
So for one ring the total would be £600. (ring cost £35 over 48 years ago and is of sentimental value only). How they can request a charge like that with a straight face is beyond me. If it is beyond economic value to repair they should be honest enough to say so instead of seeking to squeeze £600 from a pensioner.
Take-away / my mistake... be very careful what restoration you agree to have done when dealing with H. Samuel and obtain comparative quotes.
**Update 22/11**
The rings were returned quickly and the assistant in store was most helpful. Also had a call with Customer Services who apologised for the concerns raised. Promised to investigate the ineffective comms. from the store which might have inaccurately described the additional charge for repair.
A local jeweller has since quoted £100 for the pair of rings to be adjusted.

My husband and I went to choose an eternity ring for me as a Golden Wedding Anniversary gift. We were served by Janice who was very helpful and have her expert opinion to help me choose. She also explained insurance cover which we took out.
While in the shop we also saw a beautiful silver and diamond necklace which was on offer and ended up buying 4 for our Granddaughters. Thank you so much Janice for your help today.

I was served by Christine who was very helpful and even set the watch to the correct time and date for me.

My daughter had her ears pierced and they have been put in completely different places. She had kept studs in for a few months and when she has changed them one is much lower than the other so she is unable to wear hooped earrings one hangs very low the other skims her ear.

Thank you Sue from H. Samuel in Cramlington for saving my 27 years old Casio DBC 80 Databank Watch from extinction. She saved the day for me to send to Casio a replacement battery and will restore a new wrist band for me in due course when the watch will return in the store. "Thanks darling you are a star!"

I visited the Cramlington shop and purcashed an item of jewellery. I was served by Sue who was very friendly and helpful throughout. No pressure to purchase. A very pleasant experience. thank you.

We had been into your Lincoln store nearly 2 weeks ago and bought a watch for my husband. It stopped 4 days later. We are on holiday and the first chance we had to go into another Samuel’s was the Cramlington Store. Christine could not have been more helpful as unfortunately we had lost the receipt. She contacted the Lincoln store to arrange another receipt be sent to our home address and gave us a new watch which had a fully charged battery. Christine went over and above our expectations. Thank you.
