Got help with from Madison and she was really honest and helpful , helped save and get the right choice. I will definitely recommend.

Wasn't overly impressed. Wanted to buy a ladies watch for around £50 expandable type waterproof and apparently these type of watches are 'much more expensive'. Felt like she wasn't interested in serving me, was very dismissive and I was not posh enough for H Samuel of all places. The store was completely empty apart from me, wonder why? Went to F Hines instead. Lovely friendly staff and had a whole array of watches to choose from one of which I purchased. Know where I will be going next time.

I went into H. Samuel today (23/04/2026) to have my ears pierced. Ana made the whole process easy & explained everything to me.
She was very helpful & polite.

Tried to circumvent the Consumer Rights Act 2015 by telling me the watch I bought on the 7th March and broke on the 20th March was not entitled to a full refund and I should have checked the watch before leaving the shop. The button on the smart watch fell out, not fit for purpose and how would I have noticed this on a sealed and boxed watch???!! You broke the law by trying to mislead me on the Consumer Rights Act and I will raise this with Trading Standards. Basingstoke H Samuel.

After spending 15 minutes waiting in your store in Basingstoke to be served when there were only two people waiting at click and collect (there was a third waiting at a counter, but he walked off) I asked for the earrings that your website were available in store. Your staff member couldn't find them after a further 15 minutes, so I gave up, paid £1.80 for my parking (plus fuel used) and came home to order them. I was instantly told to sign up to get 10% off, then when i ordered i was told it wasn't applicable. No doubt you hid this detail in the T's and C's. As the earrings were a wanted present I bought then online. Well done, my first and last purchase with you

Served by a very nice young man called Sourabh. I bought a pair of earrings for myself. He was very polite and extremely helpful, offering me cleaning products, insurance and a voucher for a discount before May. Lovely smiling experience. with great service . Thank you x

I have had a very good experience today at HSamuels Emmanuel served me and he was very good and very helpful and I definitely would recommend going there very nice and chatty guy who was very helpful and made sure I got everything that I needed and every time I've been in there he has been very understanding, patient and warming. I recommend going in there and seeing him as he is very helpful

emanuel was really helpful with my son who is 10 and was asking a lot of questions about watches and watches and really went out of his way to help

My son is getting married and stupidly bought a wedding ring from a trusted jewellers... They sold him a ring and took payment for an item that they had no stock of,they didn't notify him until he chased the ring with them, he was told that a refund would take 7 to 10 working days.....whaaaat! Even though it's H Samuels fault? This was on 31st March,to date 19th April NO REFUND this is despite several live chats,phone calls and emails, shame on you.

Despite numerous e-mails, live chats and telephone calls - I am still waiting for my refund on a Men's Titanium Wedding Ring I never received - because you never had it in stock in the first place - but still took my money. What should have been a happy experience buying a wedding ring - you have managed to totally ruin. System issues aside - my purchase was cancelled on the 31st of March - STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY!!!...

Purchased two bracelets and enquired about an amethyst ring. Aaron was very helpful and offered options for a presentation box as the bracelets were a gift. Was also very helpful and took time to let me try on the ring without being pushy!

Went to buy a watch but total incompetence, young lad made mistake ( only his 3rd day ) but no-one willing to give him a hand even after numerous attempts. After 20 mins left as no- one cared.

There was an error saying my store doesn't have the ring but I have been charged for it!! Terrible service, I wont get it back for 2-7 working days! Nearly £400!!!

Very warm welcome, and nothing too much trouble particularly Aaron who was knowledgeable, friendly and no hard sales pressure. All the staff were excellent true customer service.

I purchased a watch at H Samuel in Festival Place Basingstoke yesterday and was served by Radhika who was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very good service.

I purchased two engagement rings and two wedding bands 18 months ago, spending quite a lot of money. I decided I would take up the offer of a free cleaning service at the Basingstoke branch. The following day a stone was missing from one of the engagement rings. I took it back and was told that one of the clasps was broken due to wear and tear. I asked why I wasn’t told that before it was cleaned & they said he may not have noticed it. They said their machine would not have damaged the ring, even though it was a coincidence the stone fell out after the clean. I asked if all their rings break after a year & a half & was told it was not a manufacturers fault & would need to pay £197 for a repair, but they would offer me 15% off. I am disappointed that I have spent as much money as I have in this shop & that I now need to repair a ring that they believe has been damaged through wear & tear. I did note the other 3 rings I brought have no damage. After speaking to customer services, I was left feeling frustrated & told the offer of 15% off was all they could offer. I will never purchase anything from H Samuel again if this is what happens to their products after 18 months.

Bought an engagement ring and 7 weeks later I noticed small diamond missing. Took back as was told had a one year warranty and left at shop. Got phone call 2 weeks later saying I had to pay £140 for repair as my fault?!?! I’m a housewife not a coal miner or bricklayer! How on earth is this not shoddy manufacturing issue! I don’t even shower with ring on! I’m fighting my corner!
