Homerewire came out to our location in the Hillfoots area very quickly. The whole operation was extremely efficient from beginning to end.
The electricians, Zac and Ryan, were very personable , conducted themselves with good grace and knowledge.
We were glad we started the packing up of our possessions 4 weeks before or we wouldn't have managed to do it all in time.
We knew to expect redecoration but were surprised it wasn't as bad as we thought due to majority of our walls being plasterboard.
We would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking the services of a rewiring company.

In November 2024 I had my home rewired by Home Rewire. I asked Mr Currie regarding the guarantee. He advised it was through the NICEIC which is 5 years labour only. When the flood lighting became faulty, I was advised the part is a manufacturing 1 year only warranty. On contacting the maker Collingwood, they advised they give 5 years. Why then I was advised Mr Currie gives only 1 year warranty not 5 years. As I should still have a 3 years labour left, why was I given a quote for £155. That should only have been £38. If I was getting my house rewired now, I would go onto Scotts website. As I stated, I had no problems with the the electricians they did a very good job but if I disagreed with Mr Currie, he became quite arrogant.

Living in Sandyhills, Glasgow , it's sometimes hard to find tradesmen you can trust, but Home Rewire exceeded all expectations. Arrived on time, explained what they’d be working on, maintained good communication throughout the job. Finished on time, gave a comprehensive walk through of the work they’d done and were very tidy when they left. Huge thanks to Lewis and his team for going above and beyond. Five stars from me!

We’re absolutely delighted with the work they did and would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable electrical services. The Team ( Lewis, Craig & Sam) were very pleasant and did an excellent job. Lewis conducted the walkthrough both before and after the rewire and explained everything very clearly and precisely. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I had homerewire for the third time and wouldn’t use any other firm.Nicholas came and installed an electric fire for me .He replaced fire surround and put old fire in garage.Nicholas a very pleasant and efficient young man

The process from contacting Amy in the office, Jimmy coming out to give the quote through to Gary and the rest of the team was seamless and very efficient.
The communication from Amy was unbelievable with regular updates on what's happening next, what I had to prepare and a brilliant video at the end from Gary showing the completed work, this was especially helpful as I was out of the country at the time.
The elapsed time from initial contact to completion (ahead of schedule) was way beyond my expectations.
I would thoroughly recommend Home Rewire for homes of any size.

I initially had my flat rewired a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic service from start to finish.
Very professional and efficient.
I recently had a problem with a socket in my kitchen which was tripping the fuse box and wouldn't reset. I called the Home Rewire team again as I was unsure what the problem was. I explained that I needed someone out soon as possible I have to keep medication in my fridge.
Electrician Nick came out as soon as he could, roughly an hour and a half later along with his colleague and thoroughly checked everything till they found the problem and sorted it.
I can't recommend Home Rewire highly enough and I'm so thankful that Nick and his colleague were able to help that day I called as I was very unwell.

I recently used Home Rewire for electrical work in Hamilton and was extremely impressed with their service. They arrived on time, completed the work as scheduled, and took the time to explain everything clearly throughout the process.
The team were polite, professional, and highly knowledgeable, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. We only identified a couple of minor snags, both of which were rectified immediately before they left the property.

After only being in our house a few weeks we noticed some electrical issues. I contacted HomeRewire and Jamie came out for a consultation. From the start I was really impressed with their professionalism. Jamie took time and explained everything to us. We received our quote which was very detailed. We did have some questions which was never a problem. Once we decided to go ahead a date was booked in. The communication never stopped and we received a list of how best to prepare our home for the rewire which was great. On the day the work was starting Lewis and Thomas arrived promptly. Lewis did a walk round with my husband & I to make sure they knew where we wanted all of our lights & sockets. They were so professional and friendly. Lewis kept us up to date with their progress throughout the week. When we came back home we had another walk through with Lewis and he showed us everything and explained what had been done. We were worried about floors having to be lifted and damaged and also wall tiles in our kitchen having to be removed. The guys done an excellent job. The floor hatches that had to be lifted were minimal and no wall tiles were disturbed which we were delighted with. The house was left clean and tidy! I would highly recommend HomeRewire to anybody and will definitely use them again for any future electrical work

Home Rewire carried out a total rewire of our house in a very professional manner from start to finish. We had lost the use of some sockets before the rewire due to a fault and lost the use of our fridge and freezer. Home rewire managed to give us an early slot for the installation with a very competitive quote. We also requested that they try not to disrupt the newly tiled kitchen floor and living room dining room timber floor. They managed to do as asked saving money on floor replacement. The finish job is in great condition with cable chases and penetrations filled to decorators level. The consumer unit is fitted out with earth leakage circuit breakers giving top protection. Very happy to recommend with good service from initial survey to completion.

From the initial visit to completion Homerewire were efficient and understood the tricky nature of our houses needs. Zack and his team were really friendly and explained the process clearly listening to our specific requirements and completed the job to our satisfaction. Also our wiring in the consumer unit is a work of art. Would happily recommend Homerewire.
