My order was ready and waiting time was minimal. Service was excellent.

The buying process was easy and signing up to Klarna was easy, picking it up in Woking Homebase was even easier, I could have been anyone! No ID was checked, just handed over a nearly £400 item, no checks!

They didn’t have the stock I requested on click and collect so offered me the next one up at same cost

Purchased a Karcher K3 with accessories and paid online. Collected it and took it home. Went to open it and realised I was given a lower model. Took it back to another Homebase and was told they had no record of it. I then drove 30 miles to the original store and had a very rude assistant. Asked if I wanted the correct item and I said no as I had shopped elsewhere in the mealtime. No purchase email sent to me and I have no proof of return and refund.
JUST BEWARE SHOPPING AT HOMEBASE!

Today I visited to Redding way Knaphill Woking store and was very much delighted by the service provided by Anthony Dean

He provided me guided tour and explain various products I was very impressed by his product knowledge and he also recommended some of the items which I was not aware of he certainly added value to my order

Greeted by a friendly, smiley member of staff without having to wait

Easy to order and ready to collect in less than 1 hour

Staff in shop excellent, very helpful. Stupidity in 20% discount only online using click and collect, so sat in shop and ordered, they then got it for me. 4 out of 5 as still had to do online while in shop.

Today I visited homebase with my sister and mum and we needed help at paint.By Shelby, who was going out of her way to find everything we needed for our painting job, recommending all the best products, as well as having all the answers to our questions!

I am happy with the product apart from one packet of barks which has two medium size holes, one at each end of the bag. It is quite surprising that they even sell this packet to the customer - I am unsure of how much of barks have dribbled out of there while being moved. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Communication about the order and when to collect was good too. I would have given more stars if not for that one bag of barks.

Item was waiting at'click and collect' already on a cart ready to wheel out. Colleague asked if I needed help and lifted it into my car

Each time I visit Homebase at Knaphill the tillls are unmanned with only one person on the customer service position. They are often dealing with a query resulting in long queues. My last 2visits I have complained to staff stacking shelves resulting in two tills being opened to clear the queues. This results in lost customers and business as we get fed up with queuing. It’s very poor management at the store. Remember, a business is a means of making money. Your store seems more interested in stacking shelves than taking customers money. Very poor service.

Lovely time on my mobility scooter going round Homebase looking at all the plants,and the guys there alway welcome me with a smile, I mostly see Pam and we just have a lovely chat as she is scanning my shopping,very lovely lady.

I usually have good experience with Homebase but this time my click and collect items weren’t even there even though I’d paid for them. I was offered alternatives that weren’t suitable and asked for a discount code for my troubles, in order to purchase them again online. However, I will have to to reach out to customer services. I know these things happen, it’s just really frustrating!
