Beth your customer service lady was absolutely wonderful. She offered to carry my item
To my car and I really appreciated her help.

Really you need photo ID to pick up a pot of paint ! So you can't order it and your husband pick it up even if he has the order number and knows all your details, ridiculous

Helpful friendly staff made it very easy

Very smooth transaction. I went to customer service desk, gave last 4 numbers of order ref to the assistant, who quickly found it on the computer, confirmed my name and then went through to the back room and came out with my rug. Thank you, excellent service.

Susie served me. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Seamless visit to pick up an order and return the pots of paint.
Refund processed swiftly and collection was straightforward.
Can't fault the service. Well-done Susie and thank you

Lovely pleasant lady who served me. Probably her first customer of the day at 8.00 am. Goods all ready for me.

The lady helping us to design our bedroom was so helpful and patient. The whole experience was fantastic.

I was unable to collect my order myself, I emailed the order to my friend to collect. He was not treated fairly, they wanted my id, I am not prepared to hand over my id to anyone. The email from me to him, was surely enough.

Ordered online for store pick up.
States email will be sent when ready for collection.
Had to email as 4 days after the delivery date, I still had no email to say it was ready for collection.
It was ready & had been there since the estimated date but no email had been sent.

This is a big shout out for Homebase-Staines.....their staff and their acts of generosity and kindness.

I am one of the Volunteers @ the Teaboat Project...we are a registered charity, a community project looking after part of Thames riverbank from Staines Bridge and along the path nearing Runnymede..... Homebase sits very close to this path.

As a charity, any help in restoring this area has been greatly welcomed and appreciated.
After a lovely chat with the Deputy Manager, Lee Stoneman ,it was agreed that I could pop by, on a regular basis, and pick up any plants that they wouldn't be able to sell to the general public.
With some TLC and nurturing......a lot of these plants have made their way in to enhancing both the decorative boats and the flower beds and borders along our part of the path.
Homebase and their contributions and involvement in making walking the path a more pleasant experience for all, is mentioned in conversations with passers-by, on a daily basis.

On behalf of the Teaboat Project, I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to all of the employees who are doing such an amazing job....
in particular, Lee - Deputy Manager, who made this possible in the first place.....
Linda, working in the Garden section, who has also been an absolute star too, she clearly has a passion for plants herself, is so knowledgeable in that area, and is a great asset to the store.
Matty has been so helpful too, and always has us in mind whenever there is something that he feels we may be able to make use of.
Beth ,Mina, Sue and all the others that I've yet to meet personally....a big thank you too.
All of you are doing a wonderful job.....come and see us along the river bank or grab a coffee at our small Café when we're open.....it would be great to see you and to say a personal 'thank you' !

Easy to see availability in local stores. Designated click and collect desk making collection easy.

Ordered an item on click and collect that needed to be delivered to store. Was delivered to store the following day (Monday) but I never received any notification. Contacted customer service Tuesday, and Ganesh informed me that it was delivered to store on the Monday and that he had requested the store to get in contact with him. On Thursday, having not heard anything, I contacted the Staines store and a lovely lady called Mandy located the item in store and sent a text so I could collect. On arrival in store my item could not be located. After about 20 minutes it was finally found and put onto counter with not so much as a thank you or apology. I will not use click and collect again. Ganesh was helpful.

Visited hombase in staines with my wife today monday 12th August. We purchased a mat and a runner. We had to queue because only one person was serving , once we had paid realised i had been overcharged for the mat and my wife who paid for the runner had been undercharged. Mats displayed 45 but scanned at 55,runner scanned at 40 but displayed at 45 there where lot of these items infront of these labels. The assistant Susie called for someone to check the price she was very helpfull considering she was the only one serving with a long queue, After waiting a few minutes Bradley came to check the price he went off but was gone for at 5 - 10 minutes,so my wife went to look at the price for herself, he said the label for that carpet was in a different location and pointed to one mat in front of it , my wife said why is all the remaining stock in front of the label displaying 45, he said he cannot help if customers move stock we can understand things get moved by customers but not all the stock at least 4 or 5 mats in front of the wrong label,my wife told him we were going to give a bad survay and came back to me at the cash desk, I decided to check it out for myself , he didnt see me approach from behind, i heard him say to his colleague who was filling that section he didnt mind if he had a bad survey, i then made it clear i was standing behind him by asking why he was moving all the stock he said it was in the wrong location . We were going to keep the items and just let it go but because of the bad service and the comment made by Bradley decided to get both items refunded, susie called for the manager to action the refund who explained they were short staffed, never have we had such bad service in this store before we have been using it for years since it opened and live local susie was good so was the manager bradley lets the team down

To be honest, I love Homebase, very and helpful staff, products of good quality as per price. Amazing plants and flowers, I am always buying a flower or a plant 😅

A good range of products, readily available, however staff on the ground a little light if help needed, but overall will go again.
