The staff. They are accommodating and helpful.

The bases recommended by Homebase are not compatible with the cantilever parasol they are supposedly for. They leave sharp protruding legs which are also a trip hazard.
Calls to customer services directed us back to the store they were bought from. The store was of no assistance saying all cantilever parasols were the same, had the same problem and we should buy concrete slabs for the base. I will never buy Homebase own brand items again. Beware if you do.

Went to my local homebase. I was very impressed by the garden centre. All the members of staff are very helpful. Made my shopping experience and will be returning

Be aware of customer service before buying anything from this organisation!

I purchased 5l of Homebase own brand paint this last Sunday, unfortunately during transit (10 min residential drive) this spilled into my boot space and totally covered the boot in around 1 inch of paint.

I contacted Homebase querying the quality control on their lids given it was clearly not securely fastened and they would take on no liability. Nor would they entertain providing cleaning equipment to help rectify what is extensive internal damage to the car.

What should have been an afternoon of painting turned into an awful experience that has cost a significant amount of time and money to resolve.

If Homebase take this approach to customer service over £24 tin of paint and £40 carpet cleaner hire then I would be extremely wary of their policy to more expensive tools, appliances and kitchens. In short they have badly shaken my confidence in how they treat their customers. Be aware before buying!!

These guys were brilliant, polite, quick and focused on helping customers to get what they wanted!! Good stuff!!

Ordered click and collect, only 2 of 6 items were in stock. Website stock check is completely useless

Ordered Click & Collect on line. Goods ready upon arrival. Basically everything as described 'on the side of the tin' .

Product and staff excellent can’t fault them in Luton and Biggleswade - what was disappointing was the inconvenience caused not being able to have the product delivered to local store had to travel to another store and go and collect got hopelessly lost being unfamiliar with the area cost me more in time and petrol - I needed 2 lanterns St Albans couldn’t locate in store even though 2 were found on system Luton had 1 had to travel to Biggleswade to get 2

The people in store were amazing. The click and collect software wasn’t working for them so they had to think on their feet to locate my order and the lady was positive despite working under pressure. The gentleman who fetched my order from the back was so kind to bring it out to my car and help me collapse my seats to fit the box in the car, it was a challenge and he was very determined to help me. I would like them to be recognised for going above and beyond

I was looking for a couple of things in the gardening department. The young Lady that I approached was very helpful and while your store didn’t have what I wanted, she made some suggestions that I could try. Also I had heard talking to other customers, she was knowledgeable and extremely helpful leaving what she was doing and helping. The only thing about filling this out is I can’t mention the amazing young Lady by name. So the store gets the praise and not the person who deserves it.
