Wanted to paint my porch and front door. Couldn't get the ready made colour for the door, so asked and explained to Kerry. Went through a big sample wallet and took some pics. Bought ordinary white undercoat and gloss and left. Back next day, still struggling with the colour, and Kerry introduced me to Christine. Same story. Went through another (different) big wallet, imaged samples on a monitor, she thought, searched her brain, I chose, she mixed, and hey presto, BANG ON!
Small purchase, but deserves big thanks. These girls are the very best example of Customer Service! Please flag it up and tell them!

Great customer service.

I had trouble getting a garden aggregate Homebase usually stock. Sandra and Alex the deputy manager at Homebase Orpington went out of their way to locate the aggregate I needed. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work in sorting out my problem. Great customer care. Thank you both very much. I can now finish my garden project.

Wish I could say who served me, the Sunday team at customer service at the Orpington branch are a real credit to Homebase. Came to collect online order and that was super efficient and helped load the items into the car. Whilst in the shop saw the paint offer and they looked high and low for the Farrow and Ball paint just what you want from a sales team on a busy Sunday. Thank you

The attentive staff at this store always surpasses my expectations.
I did click and collect on two orders, one item was out of stock and they phoned to tell me, very kind and apologetic.
The lady on the desk was friendly and efficient, then came my order with two guys, one put it all in my car as I'm disabled.
Could not ask for better care!

I have left a good review because the bathroom fitters were outstandingly good . Homebase itself were atrocious , the fixings for the bath were not delivered , so we had to pay for more fixings separately , then we were supposed to have had the sink tap delivered ( we were not told it was being delivered separately ) but it never arrived so we had to go out and spend £95 on a new tap because Yodel or Evri ( whoever did not deliver it . Then we returned the sink ( theres a £50 charge for returns ) .. so they kept saying they would pick it up but they never did so we had to take it to the store , … all in all .. they were incompetent.. i want my £95 back for the tap not arriving , its down to you to find out why the courier company you use did not deliver it .

Easy to order online , kept updated on delivery time and easy to pick up in store . Great service all round .

Ordered click and collect. Got to store in Orpington and waited 15 mins for them to bring my order to till. Staff not organised. Each member said they would get it then it didn’t happen. After I verbally complained at till then a member of staff appeared and went to get it. Honestly, it was quicker just to get it myself off the shelf! What’s the point of click and collect I wasted 15 mins waiting! Not good.

Got to the store after travelling over half an hour. I was told my item didn’t come in a bag & that the store tried to call me.
Thinking it was okay, I left the store to open my item which was completely wrong.
As it was the last one, I was told I could go & find something similar which was not the case.
So much for click & collect, not a great experience, left empty handed, hoping I receive my refund.

Although the items had to be fetched , the assistant who did helped me all the way out to the car which was great

Easy ordering for click and collect online at Homebase and collecting the items the following day.in store. Happy with the Bank Holiday clearance prices on storage boxes that I bought and the short time it took getting them overall.

Used click and collect. Was in store and out again in 3 mins! Fab

Brilliant sale items available on the website. Did reserve and collect, was ready in 40 minutes. Always friendly staff at Orpington branch

The moment I walked into the store to pick up my order i was greeted by Ian with a big smile on his face. He was so helpful as I didn't realise I had ordered artificial lavender. He helped me find an alternative, but as there were two species of lavender, he got a colleague called Alex to help explain the difference between the two. I was so pleased with the service I received that I did not regret the 35 minute journey I made as opposed to going to my local store which was a 10 mins drive away. I will definitely drive to the Orpington Store again to see Ian's smile and receive excellent service He provides. If you haven't been to the Orpington Store I suggest you pay them a visit all the staff there are lovely.

Walked in only one person in front of me, gave item number and within a couple of items brought out to me.

Ordered a german kitchen last year from Orpington Homebase and cannot be more satisfied with the finished product. The process from start to finish was flawless, made so by the experience, knowledge and helpful attitude of the salesperson and designer Josh Pease. Previous design plans/service from other competitors came no where near close. I cannot recommend Josh and the product highly enough. Well done and thankyou Josh !
