Waited about 15 minutes while one very young and very harassed assistant dealt with an elderly customer as other customers piled up behind me. Eventually someone came to a till and another, extremely sullen, girl came to customer services. Not a please or thank you and I heard her being rude to another customer. All on a Saturday morning when you would have expected better of Homebase. Poor service all round.

I went to the till and asked a basic question about where the rewireable plugs were. The woman who served me was incredibly rude and told me “they were where they should be” in a really rude tone. I looked everywhere in the shop for them (in the electrics department) and couldn’t find them, so all I can assume is that they were hard to see or in a different department that wasn’t clear. This is why people shop on Amazon - the service was so rude and I left with no desire or intent to return.

I purchased 3 large, heavy outdoor pots and compost whilst shopping in Homebase the other day and was helped to my car by a lovely young man called Francis. He couldn’t have been more helpful, excellent customer service. Thank you.

It was easy enough for me to find what I was looking for.

Easy to navigate, ordering was straightforward, no issues, tracking delivery was kept up to date, great service from start to finish

I was looking for a new kitchen and visited Homebase as well as a few other stores and found the service to be exceptional. A couple of days after getting really great advice from Amanda I went back and ordered, the whole process was seamless and she was really helpful, not trying to upsell at all, just using her experience to help me decide on what I wanted.
New kitchen, appliances,tiles and flooring installed by Fraser (again brilliant service) all done within 5 weeks from my first visit

Fuming! Bought Powerbase Strimmer August 23. It fell apart yesterday. Didn’t have original receipt but had credit card statement. Customer services wouldn’t replace because 1/ I didn’t have original receipt 2/ Anyway, this was a special promotion of Lawnmower/Strimmer sale and therefore couldn’t be replaced/returned. 3/ Their systems do not go back to August 2023 to check purchase details.
This is my local store in which I’ve spent 000’s over the last 20 years or so.
So so disappointing
