We were served by Emily at Cromer branch. She was so helpful and gave us very useful information. Her colleague who mixed some paint was equally helpful and answered our questions knowledgeably. They both had a smile too.

It was easy to order and delivery was on time.

Thinking of buying the range of STANLEY FatMax cordless tools .
Better ask before buying as for some reason Homebase are not selling the full range.
Myself not knowing purchased a Stanley fat Max circular saw nice bit of kit, so I went back and online to purchase the router and the planer no joy whatsoever .
Contacted Stanley tools uk as to why email back go on their website social media done this closest one to me was in Serbia.
Contacted homebase seemed like they didn’t have a clue that they weren’t selling the full range.
So I’ll keep digging on who’s misleading who.
Sorry Cromer store but you are my closest store.
But I’m talking about Homebase up and down the country and online.

This is my response to Homebase after there contacting me on here. I advise you to contact your customer service who I’ve already contacted and had many emails from them. Perhaps they could inform you of my circumstances or trying to buy your products.
My question still the same from day one will you be contacting Stanley so you can get the products on the shelves or online ?
If not going to sell the full range just let me know so I can go elsewhere and buy a different maker. Obviously not owned by Stanley like Dewalt Black & Decker craftsman I believe a few more as well don’t like being fooled.
As for Cromer, I am not removing it, as that is my local store, where I go and purchase my goods.

So personally will return my FatMax cordless saw as was going to update my tools to cordless but you are not selling the range so pointless.
So more like a car booter what you see is what we’ve got.
Will pass my findings onto HILCO GLOBAL.

Homebase comes up on top but not saying you can not buy the full range.
This is a personal review and replacement of my tools to cordless and for myself Saw,Router,Planer are at the top of my list but for some reason unable to buy from the top retailer of this product in the UK.
Again you let yourself down with your response.
Simple question who owns DeWalt ?
What’s the difference in price I’ll tell you ALOT.
So please any response back do your research first.

Was hopping someone had the opportunity to make some phone calls or emails for Homebase to get the stock in for customers to buy.
Again myself put FATMAX tools into google top response Homebase.
Would think selling products would be at the top of the list.

Had information from Stanley there won’t be selling the Router or Planer in the UK.
Hope this could be forwarded on to customers when making their choice on which tools ,ie maker so no confusion.
Recontacted the mother company of Homebase and Stanley tools hopefully I might get a reply.
Message to your buyers TOOLFAIR EXETER go and see if you can get your hands on the items for your stores.

Alain Mansfield as a salesman understood the requirements of myself and my husband.he helped us to build a utility room for us.
He had time to help a couple of oaps in every way.

Excellent service from a lovely guy on the floor who I asked where do I go to collect my goods. He disappeared and returned with big box..I said don't think it will go in my car...he carried box to my small hatchback...and kindly dismantled the box and managed to get two on my back seat..one on front seat and one in the boot...absolutely a star guy needs a pat on the back.

Knowledge is very good of different items and we are always glad to be served by her.

The goods on the pallets did not correspond with the displayed process, so that there was apparent overcharging at checkout, whereas in reality careless store management was to blame.
In addition items discounted were overcharged by double the amount (not discounted) at checkout.
Whereas one might forgive a single ‘mistake’, this looks more a serial issue that needs rapidly addressing.

Kevin was so friendly and helpful when we asked him to help us find the correct paint. We thought Kevin was awesome!
