Homebase - Chichester Recensioni 

Went to pick up pre ordered paint but needed other things too. I was looking at trunking for cables plus cabling. I wasn't sure what I needed but spoke to lovely young man who helped me. I had further questions so he went and got a colleague who was also very helpful and between them the guided me to the right options. It didn't help that I had written my measurements in feet and inches but they converted that for me and helped me choose what I needed, they made the whole thing easy for me. They were so helpful and patient it really was very much appreciated. I'm 71 years old and it's so nice to be treated as a "normal person" despite my age lol. The guy on the till was also super friendly. It really made my day, they were patient kind and didn't make me feel stupid. Thank you very much to all involved - I wish I had taken their names.

The packaging of the item I collected was covered in muddy stains which I didn’t appreciate.

Colleague serving me for the click and collect questioned my name three times, to the point it was very uncomfortable even though I showed my ID. Colleague didn’t seem to believe that that was my name, a seemingly normal name for the past 30 odd years of my life, which the colleague eventually said ‘was presumptuous of him’ whatever that meant. Strange experience.

Item was luckily fine, just one small mark from the muddy stains that I was able to wipe off the material thankfully.

Having installed my lovely new bathroom purchased at Homebase Chichester I noticed after 18 months use that one of the drawer runners was defective. I visited the store to report the fault and spoke to very helpful staff. Phil Tingle arranged a replacement unit which arrived two days later, marvellous.

Despite showing 5 items in store on line, after placing a click and collect order, I received a call from the store to say the item was not in stock. Perhaps some sort of stock update system may be of use, as this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this. Time to shop elsewhere I feel…..

Janet made our shopping experience a breeze! She could not do enough to help us- my nan was over the moon with her new tap and handles for her kitchen.
Janet was very attentive and supportive in terms of offering opinions and options.
Would come back just for this service again.

Only half of the order available again! Do not trust ‘in stock’ meaning it’s in stock the stock levels are so inaccurate or the pickers simply don’t know where to find things. Waste of time.

Went into the store with my partner and her nan looking for a good quality Tap and draw handles for her new kitchen. Janet came over to provide assistance in what we were looking for.

She was absolutely brilliant, going well above and beyond normal customer service to help us get what we needed, smiling the entire time.

A big thank you Janet, you made what could have easily been a confusing and stressful experience lighthearted and stress free!

I’m 85 years old. The assistant Janet was extremely kind and helpful even producing a chair for me as I couldn’t stand for too long. The product arrived the next day so all very efficient but Janet’s manner towards me was exceptionally kind and considerate.

Easy to order on line. Staff member was friendly and efficient.

we have had a wonderful experience at Chichester Homebase. Our first meeting was with Janet who helpfully showed us around the kitchen options and arranged a design consultation with Phil. Phil has been fantastic throughout 3 design meetings, 2 home visits, he has gone above and beyond and stayed exceptionally patient with us. We are looking forward to our new kitchen. Many thanks to Phil for his professionalism and guidance and to Janet who is a lovely breath of fresh air whenever we visit the store.

Part of the order was not fulfilled as was out of stock, but got the rest of it OK and staff were incredibly helpful 👍

Rude staff no help lifting 40-80kg products into my van

Product ready for collection and store assisted in loading in car. Easy to assemble and looks good. 2 slight problems, 2 x feet missing from table and one pillow cover not sew properly.

After driving 25 miles to collect my order as it wasn't in my local store you can imagine my "disappointment" to find the order was incorrect, won't do that again!!
