Quick and efficient

Had some mixed up by Jo. It was quick and easy. She was very pleasant.

I am very happy indeed with the experience that I had today, 10th Sep 2024. I am going to do some car park line painting this weekend and needed a large T-shaped stencil to make T-shapes 35x40cm. I had previously searched the internet without success, so I was looking for some thin vinyl-like material to cut out the T-shape and use the rest as the stencil. Homebase do not do stencils, but I found the ideal piece of material about 50x100cm.......without a bar code or price. I went to the checkout desk, and was told that this was a shelf lining and not for sale!!......However, they GAVE me the material, and I left as an extremely happy customer!!

Paul helped me design my kitchen he came and measured up as well as helping me choose flooring he went above and beyond for me he has excellent customer service

Krysta in the paint mixing department was really helpful and friendly. Her experience in paint mixing obvious and saved me journey to Truro branch.

Very quick and efficient exchange of patio gas for the bbq

It started with an initial email enquiring about a new fitted kitchen and within half an hour Paul had called me back and squeezed an appointment in for a home visit. He was very personable, knowledgeable and full of advice! He listened to everything we wanted (and didnt want) and shortly after the home visit we received the rendering for our new kitchen design. With a few tweaks here and there we had the perfect design! Nothing was too much for Paul. He went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Thank you! We can't wait for it to all be fitted!

Initially this was going to be a 1 star review, however…
Paul at the Bodmin branch was outstanding.
After initially dealing with another member of staff on the customer service till, who said that the model of Karcher Pressure Washer I wanted was out of stock (although there were 6 in stock online at the branch), I asked if they were coming back in stock or if they had an alternative they could recommend, an answer of no to all, very unhelpful.
Enter stage right Paul, who offered to check the warehouse for what they had in. He made two trips to the warehouse and showed us what models they had, then checked the price was right for the one we wanted. The item we wanted was in stock and was at the price advertised.
But for Paul, we would have walked out empty handed. Instead we got what we came for and they were £153 in profit.

Great service from Rose on the till

Collecting my purchase was quick and easy.

Bought 3 210lt water butts but none had the taps 😕 we had a look out side not a single water butt had any taps can't believe that all of the taps were missing without no one notice I travelled 54 miles to collect them as Bought them on line was told could have them for half price but what good would they would been without the taps very disappointing 😞

I went in store to buy a pop up Gazebo. I asked a member off staff (can't remember their name) where I could find them and they took me straight to it, They even offered to carry it to the till for me. The lady on the till (Mandy) was friendly and polite. Overall a very positive experience.

I ordered roof felt for my sheds, after reading reviews online I chose the thicker, 15 year felt however when I arrived at the store they had picked the cheaper 5 year felt. The problem was sorted, but it was still inconvenient, and rolls of roof felt are not light to move around.

First class service… goods were notified as being available for pickup within an hour of ordering… friendly helpful staff at click and collect service point… was in and out of the store in minutes… would certainly recommend this service.

Went in for plant pots which we bought, then looked at barbeques, Julie was very helpful so we bought one of those, she then asked if we wanted a new kitchen to which we replied “yes” so Paul sold us a kitchen. Julie and Paul were very helpful and polite and we are very pleased with our purchases. Looking forward to delivery day when we hope the good experience will continue. Many thanks Mandy and Peter
