Click and collect was fast had my order ready and in a trolly so I did not have to carry it out.

Absolute first class customer service from both Dee on the shop floor and Selg the manager. The store was sold out of a garden table set my wife and I were hoping to get. Selg went out of his way to check if the display model could be sold, which it could, he then proceeded to ensure I had all I need to fit it all in my car, whilst also constantly ensuring the staff around him were ok. It got quite busy whilst I was being served, and Dee didn’t stop, even when she received a phone call that the manager explained was due to a car accident she had been involved with that morning ! Again, Dee showed outstanding commitment during a troublesome time, with Selg helping and constantly checking all was well. You are both a real credit to the Homebase company, great leadership and fantastic, kind and committed staff. I’d also like to add I visited the store the day before and purchased a Bistro table and chairs, again (I’m ashamed to say I didn’t get the gentleman’s name) the help we received tracking down the chairs for the set was top drawer, again, during a busy time. It was due to this customer service that made me return to the same store today. Thank you for your kindness and care.

I picked up two seperate orders at the same time , one being a large patio dining set The lady at the click and collect counter was so helpful

Too big for a click and collect package - this should be made clear! I was told I should have checked the dimensions - where on earth are the dimensions of the packaging?! You should not allow a large item to be collected without making it clear it won’t fit in a car! I was told to unbox and pack in my car which I did only to find it’s the wrong colour! Took it anyway as it was all packed in my car! Got home and could not build as parts missing! Rang Customer Services who could/would not help in first call. Asked to ring store - no answer 7 times, called customer services again quoting their own refunds and returns policy to them only to be told they could arrange collection as an exception but is have to repackage the item even though store told me to take out of packaging to fit in my car! Would then have to wait 3-5 days after collection for money back if I wanted to reorder! What an absolute shambles. I asked customer services whose error is this and they replied - it’s debatable!!! The cheek of it! s. I am a consumer who has paid £370 for an item and just wants what I paid for!

Edited after Homebase response…well done Homebase for your defensive reply and ignorant comment that doesn’t mention the fact that I got the wrong colour and missing parts and no one will help me! What a fantastic set of consumer satisfaction policies you have for all customers to enjoy across the country!

Now, I am going to say this very clearly- your website does not specify the dimensions of the object packaged! The object unpackaged fits in my car, after all the polystyrene and plastic packaging was removed. Your larger items normally do not allow for click and collect, only home delivery - I suggest this would be one of them given your packaging size!

Oh and I still have a £370 garden shed in beige not grey with missing parts sitting in my hall - anyone care to help?!

Very helpful and friendly staff in the Basildon branch. Bob was particularly helpful with getting a large garden furniture set out of the shop and into the van. Thank u bob

Advertised as buy new machine, we will take your old one for recycling free of charge. You no longer do the recycling, change your advert, or was this a marketing ploy to boost sales?

Looking on your web site, after going into one store did not have item in that store didn't know when next delivery would have said item. But looking on your web site my nearest store to me had plenty in stock used your website and within the hour had the itemin my car on the way home. Put it together looks wonderful 👍👍.

Outstanding customer service from Selg, the store manager at Basildon. Went above and beyond to sort out a display unit for me. Can’t praise him enough. Thank you.

Seig was extremely helpful and kind during our shop today. He helped us get exactly what we needed for the bbq.

Home base was doing a deal on paint but they didn’t have the colour we wanted. Dee gave us a deal so thank you to Dee we could carrying on paint.
