Rang to reserve at my local hmv store a vinyl and told I'd have to pay a higher price than advertised online,I checked in store and staff wasn't helpful, most are not with exception of one who wasn't there.i return regularly to buy vinyl which isn't cheap and it was 12 pounds difference in price this time.i like to shop in store as much as possible and a new lady understood that and was nice,but a guy who's worked there over 30yrs was not interested ,he suggested the price online to be wrong.iv now had confirmation sent from royal mail when delivery will be to my home free of charge at the online price of 22.99 pounds.so much for keeping store's open! It's not shoppers who lose jobs,the company's cause the problems for themselves,even young ones like to go out to shops but even staff don't realise they're part of that experience.come on hmv Mansfield, be nice and show the pen pushers how it's done,help keep our shops open!

Good service in-store,where I asked…
Good service in-store,where I asked about the DVD. Which I discovered wasn't being stocked in-store this year. Offered to order it and have it sent to my home. All done very quickly and arrived nicely.

Order lost and basically told to wait…
Went to store now on several occasions. Only just now been told that DPD have lost the box with orders in it. This is apparently being investigated now. But why wasn’t a new shipment made and then if and or when the other order is delivered, the contents are returned to the main HMV Depot?

I went to hmv for my click and collect order and the whole process went very smoothly, and the member of staff who was assisting me was polite to me, so that's a bonus in my book.
