hmv (UK) - Manchester Arndale Recensioni 

The Caucasian man on the second floor, who was bald with a beard and glasses as well as piercings (a description as I was unable to see his name tag) was extremely rude and quite frankly a racist, he was extremely condescending and was not helpful at all. I asked politely if they have the Billie Eilish ocean eyes 7 inch limited addition vinyl, he gave me strange look and said "that's a song from an album not a vinyl I don't know what you're talking about", which is valid except his demeanour and tone towards me from the beginning with harsh and patronising. let me assure you there is such thing thing as that vinyl. He was a ridiculous employee who was discriminatory towards me in this day and age; I left my items and left the store, this is the second time this man has done a similar thing and I don't believe that's an employee hmv should have. Something should be done about this. I ignored it the first time but I find it horrific that someone has the right to treat another human being in such way. It needs to stop.

Absolutely amazing!! We got tickets for the Olly Murs album signing and the event was super organised and we loved every minute! The security guard for Olly took lots of photos of me and my daughter meeting Olly which we were so grateful for! Thank you for an experience we will never forget!

I have been buying cd box sets for years from Amazon and ebay, they always arrived damaged. This is the way to do it, I have ordered two cd box sets from HMV, I have collected them myself and they are in perfect condition.

was not expecting cd/dvd to be delivered the day before it came out

I went to a live performance and signing. The staff were all really nice and so so helpful. The event ran so smoothly and this was all down to the staff. They handled so many different issues that popped up with ease and I am in awe of how well they worked together with the security team.

I was served by a lovely guy called Oliver B ....I ordered a couple of items for delivery ..he was very helpful friendly and very polite ..he couldn't do enough to help ..he is a credit to your company ...

Ideal to collect. Good service .convenient location for collection well recommend. Package was in great condition and well packed and recieved

Great experience. Friendly staff, easy to pick up ordered album and wristband for the signing.
Upstairs was well organised. Had a great time meeting the band.

Always liked HMV. Always get everything perfect even if its when delivering items or going to the shops in person

Terrible service at the Manchester Arndale store today. Received faulty records that were skipping ahead straight out of the box. Swapped them for replacements, and they were skipping at exactly the same spot as the initially purchased records.

Had to go back to the store for the second time and was told that it won’t be a manufacturing error and it is likely an issue with my record player. I then suggested that we test the records in store to see if it is a fault with the record or my player, to then be told that the in store record players are display only and we couldn’t test the records. What is the point of having record players on display if you can’t test before purchase.

I then purchased a replacement needle as suggested by one of the staff and swapped this at home. This did not fix the issue and the records were skipping in the same spot. I then made a 3rd trip back to the Manchester Arndale store to be greeted by the same poor service. When suggesting that it is likely a manufacturing error the store assistant told me that it is very unlikely because they would already be aware. Surely the manufacturer would only be made aware of an issue by receiving customer feedback. Store assistant couldn’t have cared less and was very defensive.

Standard of service poor from multiple staff and would suggest internal training is reviewed for this store.

Records were refunded but sadly will not be purchasing from HMV in future due to the poor service, despite their excellent selection of records available in store.

Came for Miles Kane’s signing. The staff were really rushing things. I get that there are photo restrictions and only staff can take the pictures but at least try to take a good shot :’)
