I got a car that on the next morning after I picked it up was constantly showing a message on the board. “Oil change”

Ei called for assistance but I was told that I would have to bring it in for an exchange, I explained that was not possible… we had a 4 days weekend reunion and a very hectic schedule.

Drove the car with the stress of knowing that it needed oil change!

Lady at counter upon arrival was cheerful n greeted us nicely!

Eventhough the car was ready for me to pick up on time, there was no other option tp choose from than the one car left on the lot when I arrived. So as having a gold reservation, that was somewhat disapointing.
Also, the car marked a full tank when I checked it out, but as soon as I left the lot It marked on 1/8 of a tank already used. It might be not your fault but from whoever returned it, but I had to fill it out even when I barely used it.

Customer service is the best

When I arrived the car that I requested was not available, so the representative found me another.

Choice of vehicles was excellent very fast in an out

I added my flight info twice, but it didn’t load. I then had a delayed flight but arrived outside at 12:40 and waited until after 1 when no shuttle came. There were other customers with me. The two other competitor rental car shuttles circled twice. We spoke to them and were told Hertz stopped at 12:45 - so I had to pay for an Uber to my hotel and then to the rental car pickup in the morning. $50!?! I spoke to the manager who claimed the shuttle driver was there because someone rented after 1 am and she said it was a known app bug that flight info couldn’t be updated in the app. Absurd. I guarantee the Delta flight from ATL had many renters who - like me - had to make alternative arrangements. I was with a family and three business travelers who were all in a lurch.

Store in Houston wasn’t open for drop off when they said it would be

I was charged for a chip in the windshield that was already there prior to me picking up the car. I notified the person when I left with the car and dropped off the car. And took a picture of it but was still charged. And the car was filthy.
This will be my last time using Hertz.

The driver was extremely courteous and friendly. Car was ready. Check out was quick and easy.

My rental car was burglarized in Houston, the front window was smashed, and all of my travel gear was stolen. I filed a police report and called Hertz expecting help. Instead, they refused to send a replacement vehicle. Their only solution was a tow truck, but they demanded I sit stranded on the street with a broken window for hours waiting for it.Because I couldn't safely sit there for hours, Hertz forced me to drive the vehicle for nearly an hour to the Houston Hobby Airport to do an exchange. Driving an hour on the highway with glass hanging off the frame and loose shards flying around the inside of the car was incredibly dangerous and terrifying.When I finally survived the drive and arrived at the airport, I had to wait another 30 minutes because they didn't even have a clean car ready for me. Hertz has completely unacceptable customer service and a total disregard for driver safety. Avoid renting from this location.

Booked well in advance- and booked a specific category. While enroute, received an email that says "go to the Gold board, find your name, pick whatever car you want." All that was left was mini-vans. If I wanted a mini-van, I'd have booked a mini-van. Six of us arrived at the same time, all to get mini-vans and one individual got a full size pick up. All of us made remarks about it. Not to mention, the absolutely disgusting odor it had. Wasn't happy at all. Huge let down.

Very “poor limited” choices of car models on President’s Circle with last time only 3 cars available at pick up time and very very basic cars.

Overall positive experience although the rates were quiet high for a weekend rental
