Terrible. Customer service is average. Many technical issues. Avoid..

They advertise a loan up to 30.000€ without any guarantees needed And a chance to pay for 7 years. But when you go to the bank to speak with them they tell you that all loans above 15.000€ need house mortgage

I'm both a private and business customer at Hellenic Bank. They have some of the slowest, most confusing, and downright stupid service in any bank I have been a customer at. Their process to op3n an account is so tedious, it feels like I'm signing up to become president. The amount and type of documents they need, especially for business accounts, is absolutely ridiculous.cyprus really needs better banks

Impersonal staff and managers. After being a client for more than 30 years I left because of bad attitude and unacceptable treatment of my business. It is obvious that the new policy is to be kind only to people they know personally or to those clients with high earnings. Very disappointed. Stay away.

Мы открыли с мужем общий аккаунт, но я не могла входить в него, так как проверочный код приходил только на телефон мужа. Когда позвонили в колл центр и обратились за помощью, чтобы мне дали другой username и пароль, они задали мне кучу личных вопросов, потом пришли к моему личному аккаунту( есть второй в этом банке) и начали задавать вопросы по нему..... Когда я задала вопрос, зачем они перешли к моему личному аккаунту, женщина ответила-есть несовпадения с моими предыдущими ответами!!! Я возмутилась, какие могут быть несовпадения, когда вопросы касаются личной информации:ДР, тавтотита, эмейл, телефон!!!!!! В общем, разговора не получилось, придется ехать в отделение банка!!!!

I hope no one else is effected by online fraud , its one rule for the locals and one for foreigners, if you are foreign forget any help , I was accused of actioning the fraud myself , instead of them investigating the situation. Oh and let me add, the staff in the branches, the front line of the business the face of the company, their attitude stinks, customer service review of zero

They froze my bank account without any notice. I called them and they said they need ID. I emailed them straight away and told them I need my account unfrozen so I can get my medication. So far, 2 days and still frozen. Out of anti depressants and anti anxiety pills. My body and mind are screaming for help.

I would urge every person especially retired people to run away from Hellenic bank. Bank of Cyprus has better deals so all you have to do is ask. I am willing to provide full details as to why you need to run away from Hellenic. All you have to do is contact me.

Been calling for over 20 min. No answer. Are these people working ?

The worst manager Georgios in branch 241, not only does not answer but also steal from my account.

Hellenic's Back online service is the worst! You have to wait at least 30 - 40 min till they answer! This is unacceptable

Bank with mafiosos system of work, every week ask for an issue that do not exist....waiting by a month for opening an account.I live in Limassol by almost 1 year and this is the only bank I visited which adopt discrimination with european foreigners...But if you are Russian or Ukrainian you are welcome, they accept same mafiosos like them

This is by far the most insuktive experience of my life. I made an appointment to open a bank account with Hellenic bank (Gladstonos - 97, Gladstonos Str., Limassol, 3032), I came first but the manager came didn't even ask who came first started answering all the Caucasian, even when he was told I came first. He glanced at me with disgust,he made all his employees attend to the Caucasian people. I was unduly delayed for 2 hours all because I want to open a bank account.
The manager is a racist

Hellenic bank is the worse ,like anyway many other bank companies that are here in Cyprus
It doesnt only goes to the people working there but also their policies and how they work things out .everything is so fuckd up without any control anyhow lots of times without my approval they were paying bills I didnt wanna payd them that way without even asking or without even me giving the premission from the app,fees are unbelivable too
Even if theres an app that iss almost no useful cuz it sucks their supposed 'privacy' and protection for our money is unexisted tooo try to fix something.... at least something

They are so brazen that they write in such a toxic context - In case your intention is to have an account just for salary purposes, this will be subject to review and approval/rejection and the procedure will take around 3 weeks.

App is outdated, 0 interest, they hold your own money like they are their now. Employees are polite, though.

I recommend ether not use their services or immediately withdraw all money which are sent to your Hellenic account.

They hold your money for no reason, make the rescue a impossible mission even after you pay a lot of fees.. worst bank ever

Summary, they are just concerned about stilling your money on every possible way (very high transfer fees, very high currency conversion fees, audit fees on most transfer possible on their own decision, all of this above maintenance quarter fees).
Result for an account that run around 25K balance and 10 transactions max a month, 2K of bank fees per year.....which is a 10% of the balance of the account. THIEVES !!!!!!!
I fully recommand to not enter or escape this bank and go in a Neo bank like Revolut, which provides an excellent and cheap service.

The lady named Kiriaki who is working on the call center is very very rude. The other girl named Kiproula she is very polite. The first lady speak to the people like they are enemies or something 🤷🏼‍♀️ nobody wants to fight just for one visacard 😅 in Cyprus the people doesn’t like to work even if they had only to answer questions. Very old and without experience to get this job. Very sad for you Kiriaki because if you speak like this to people who you don’t know I can’t even imagine how you act to your people. Sad for them 😔
