Amanda was amazing she found me and my wife a fantastic deal she was polite and showed us a lot of places to the point I've even booked my 50th and my with 50th birthday hoilday with her she needs a pay raise will be coming back to the shop to see her about my other hoilday this year as well the team in the shop are way better then tuii and would recommend to my friends and family to go and see Amanda when booking their holiday

Nicole was more than helpful spending a lot of time and effort finding us the right holiday

You will be better off booking online than using these "experts"!
I was invited to a wedding in Poland and since I didn't know the country, I decided to use Hays Travel to guide me! I gave them the wedding invite which had the address in, Wroclaw, but they told me that I would need to fly with British Airways from Heathrow to Krakow and book an Uber from there!

Everyone else in the wedding party booked online!
I later discovered from them that Wroclaw has it's own airport and that there were cheaper Ryan air flights directly there! Not once was this mentioned by the staff that are the supposed experts! Never in my entire time there did they even mention an airport in Wroclaw

In fact on complaining to their customer service I was told that I hadn't discussed flying to Wroclaw with them despite giving them the invite and telling them that is where I needed to get to!
Their entire customer service is a joke! They keep telling you how seriously they take customer service but never own up to their mistake. They keep doing some convoluted excuse around the fact that I chose to book my own hotel room (which they couldn't book) as being the reason that their staff of "experts" couldn't get me to the actual city that I needed to fly to! They literally blame the customer for their lack of knowledge or professionalism!

I am now out of pocket for the flight which I cancelled and they refused to refund! Everyone else that booked online without using Hays Travel was able to get a correct flight to the correct city! Using Hays Travel has cost me 3 times as much as everyone else who booked themselves and didn't rely on the rip off staff who seem more interested in the commission than in actually getting you where you need to go! An abysmal company only super ceded by their abysmal customer service! Do not waste your time using them book online yourself - it will be far cheaper and easier!

Update; The reply by Hays is misleading. They haven’t resolved anything only dug their heels in and refused to own up to their mistake! I would love to tell you that this was a mistake but clearly it is an institutional culture of failing their customers and then failing to acknowledge their responsibility!

As always all the colleagues were helpful and informative with what we required. As we had 3 hotels that we liked Amanda went
through all that the hotels had to offer.

Nicole was great in organising the whole trip she was helpful and went out of her way to get things sorted for us. Then Amy sorted the final stages of payment. The process was smooth and infomative. 10 out of 10

The lady was very helpful and made sure i got everything that I wanted on the trip. I have used Hays for years and they have never let me down. I always recommend them.

1 have booked a holiday with Hays before and was very pleased with the service I received. Yesterday I booked another holiday with Hays and dealt with Nicole who is excellent ! She is very friendly, professional and nothing too much trouble. I even got a better price than the competition ! I would definitely use Hays again for my next holiday and highly recommend them. Although we now live in Yorkshire, we still call Amy at Southend Branch for all our holiday needs. She is excellent at her job, knows her products, always pleasant and helpful.
