I have used Hays for a few years and they have always given me a good service.One other reason why I use Hays is that they are a local comany.I live near Sunderland where they have there Headquaters. Also, the are not beholden to any shareholders as Irene Hays is the complete owner. John Hays was a good employer who always ensured good working conditions for his staff and when John died and Irene took over the business she continued in the same vein. I went into their office in Houghton-le-Spring a couple of days ago to discuss going on a cruise next year. I have never been on a cruise but Vicky,the Manager, was very helpfull. As I would be a solo passenger I wanted something suitable to suit me. Vicky went through a few options, to be honest, I felt she was going at break neck speed. So after I decided on the option of a Mediterranean cruise I said that I wanted to take all the infromation away and considerate it at home before I decided.I looked at the ship's facilities on the internet and were very good. However, upon reading the reviews the majority were scathing. As such, I decided this was a non-starter.Vicky phoned me the following day when I informed her of the terrible reviews and as such, I didn't want this cruise. She suggested some other options. I arranged to visit the office that day. While at the office Vicky went through some other options and made a point of showing me the reviews. Eventually I found an Agean cruise which seemed much better than the previous one and had good reviews. As such, I chose this cruise. As this would be my first cruise Vicky was very thorough,going through everything so I paid a deposit. Vicky said that I could call in any time if I had any queries.
